•EnsurethevehicleisinP ,theparkingbrakeisappliedandthevehiclepowersystemisOFF
•Ifanycablesonthevehicleareexposed,inordertopreventelectricshockorevendeathDONOT
makeanycontactwithanycable.
•Ifthevehiclecatchesre,andthereissmallandslow,acarbondioxideextinguishercanbeused
toextinguishthere,andcontacttheredepartmentassoonaspossible;ifthereislargeand
spreadingquickly,immediatelyevacuatethevehicleandcontacttheredepartmentimmediately.
•Ifthevehicleisinvolvedinacollisionandcannotbere-started,themastersafetyswitch(MSD)MUST
bedisconnectedpriortorescue.
•Whenthevehicleiscompletelyorpartiallyimmersedinwater,switchoffthevehiclepowersystem
andevacuatethecarimmediately.Themastersafetyswitch(MSD)MUSTbedisconnectedpriorto
rescueorassoonasthevehicleisreoated/removedfromthewater.Observethewater/vehiclefor
anyabnormalsignssuchasexcessivebubblesornoises,thismayindicatebatteryshortcircuitissues,if
nosignsareevidentthereshouldnotbeashockriskfromthebodyworkandrecoverycancommence.
•Ifyourcarisbeingrecoveredbyanindependentrecoveryagent,pleasecontactMGAuthorised
Repairerformaintenance.
•Thevehicleissuppliedwitharescueinformationcard(intheglovebox).Pleaseshowthecardtothe
rescuepersonnelwhentheyarrive.
