EffectsofAmbientT emperature

Theworkingperformanceofthehigh-voltagebattery packttedtoyourvehicleisrelatedtotheambient temperature,thisbatterypowersthevehiclepower systemandthereforeitisrecommendedthatwhere possiblethevehicleshouldbeusedwithinthetemperature rangeof-15to45.Thiswillensurethatthevehicleisat theoptimumworkingstate,andhelpextendtheservice lifeofhigh-voltagebatterypack.Extremelyhighorlow temperatureswillaffecttheperformanceofhigh-voltage batterypackandvehicle.

InstructionsforHighVoltageBatteryPack Recycling

Thehigh-voltagebatterypackttedtoyourvehicle containsseverallithiumbasedbatterycells,isinstalled centrallytothemotor-vehiclechassis.Arbitrary disposalmaycausepollution,hazardanddamagetothe environment.Thehigh-voltagebatterypackMUSTbe recycledbyanMGAuthorisedRepaireroraprofessional

approveddismantlingagent.Pleaserefertothefollowing informationandrequirements.
•ONL Yqualiedpersonnelshouldworkwiththehigh voltagesystem-thereisdangerofDEATH.
•Highvoltagesafety:thehighvoltagesystemttedto yourvehiclefeaturesaHVbatterycontaininghigh voltagecomponentssuchaslithiumbatterypacks andhighvoltagewiringharness;DONOTattempt todismantleanyareaofthissystem,suitablytrained professionalstaffmustobserveinsulationsafety protectionbeforeworkingonornearthehighvoltage system.
•T ransportation:Thehigh-voltagebatterypackis classedasaCategory9hazardousmaterialandmust betransportedbyvehiclesqualiedintransporting Category9hazardousmaterials.

DrivingRange

ThedrivingrangedependsontheHVbatterycondition, quantityofavailableelectricity ,vehicleage(current remainingbatterylife),weather,temperature,road conditionsanddrivinghabitetc.
Therangecanbeaffectedbyelectricloads(suchasA/C, lightsetc),drivingstyle,generalroadconditions.
Itshouldbenotedthat:
•Thedrivingrangeisrelatedtorateofdischarge.In ordertoavoidahighrateofdischargefromaffecting theperformanceofthehigh-voltagebatterypack,itis recommendedthatthevehicleisconnectedtoasuitable chargeruponseeingthelowbatterywarninglampinthe instrumentilluminate.
•Theactualdrivingrangeofvehiclewillreducewiththe increaseofvehicleage.
•TheuseofA/Cwillreducethedrivingrange.
•Thedrivingrangevariesatdifferentspeeds.
•Atlowtemperatures,thedrivingrangewillbereduced duetotemperaturecharacteristicsofthebatteryduring use.
•Undersomeconditionsofextremetemperaturesand lowbatteryvoltage,insufcientaccelerationorpower reductionmayoccurduetobatterycharacteristics.

•T rytomaintainasteadyspeedatalltimes,avoid constantaccelerationandbraking.
•Duringacceleration,applytheacceleratorpedalas gentlyaspossible.
•Duringdeceleration,releasetheacceleratorpedal; undercertainconditionswhennotapplyingthebrake orgentlyapplyingthebrake,theenergyregeneration system(KERS)willassistinchargingtheHVbattery andextendthedrivingrange.

•Ifthevehiclecatchesre,andthereissmallandslow,acarbondioxideextinguishercanbeused toextinguishthere,andcontacttheredepartmentassoonaspossible;ifthereislargeand spreadingquickly,immediatelyevacuatethevehicleandcontacttheredepartmentimmediately.
•Ifthevehicleisinvolvedinacollisionandcannotbere-started,themastersafetyswitch(MSD)MUST bedisconnectedpriortorescue.
•Whenthevehicleiscompletelyorpartiallyimmersedinwater,switchoffthevehiclepowersystem andevacuatethecarimmediately.Themastersafetyswitch(MSD)MUSTbedisconnectedpriorto rescueorassoonasthevehicleisreoated/removedfromthewater.Observethewater/vehiclefor anyabnormalsignssuchasexcessivebubblesornoises,thismayindicatebatteryshortcircuitissues,if nosignsareevidentthereshouldnotbeashockriskfromthebodyworkandrecoverycancommence.
•Ifyourcarisbeingrecoveredbyanindependentrecoveryagent,pleasecontactMGAuthorised Repairerformaintenance.
•Thevehicleissuppliedwitharescueinformationcard(intheglovebox).Pleaseshowthecardtothe rescuepersonnelwhentheyarrive.
