MFJ-382 AMPLIFIED SPEAKER

The MFJ-382 Amplified Speaker is good for QRP operators who want to use speaker operation and HT users on 2 meter and 440 MHz for more volume. It is small and rugged and uses a 12VDC power supply but can be used just about anywhere because of the optional internal 9VDC battery connection. The unit is driven by a TDA7052A low voltage power amp and has 1 watt output maximum with 36 dB gain.

Battery Installation

First, remove the two side screws from the cover. Slowly remove the cover with caution to ensure avoiding breaking the speaker wires. Attach a 9V battery to the battery connection and slide the battery into the holder. Reattach the cover and the unit is ready for operation.

Controls

On/Off ................	Powers the unit on and off
Volume...............	Controls the volume level of the unit
Input ...................	3.5mm Stereo input jack
Power .................	2.1mm Coaxial power input jack with center pin
	positive and shield negative
