The MFJ-133 is a unique timepiece offering 2 clocks in one. Both the main clock and secondary
clock are always in sync because they use the same time base. The Main Time can be set for any US time
zone. The Time II display can be set for any time zone (best suitable for UTC). The MFJ-133 works by
receiving the time radio signal generated by the US Atomic Clock located in Colorado. Any place that
can receive the signal can use the MFJ-133. Any place that cannot receive the signal will have to set the
time manually. The Atomic Clock in Colorado is operated by the US Department of Commerce’s
National Institute Standards and Technology. To enhance good reception of the signal, avoid placing your
MFJ-133 near television sets, metal surfaces, computers, or any other electrical device that may interfere
with the reception of the radio signal.

correct polarity as shown inside the battery compartment.

Initial Start -Up
After inserting new batteries into the MFJ-133, the clock will automatically begin searching for the
time signal. The radio tower symbol on the LCD display will pulse to indicate that the MFJ-133 is
searching for the time signal. If the time signal is received, the radio tower symbol will stop pulsing and
remain steady with all segments illuminated. When the time signal is received, it will take the 3 to 15
minutes for synchronization.
The MFJ-133 will search for the time signal once a day at 2:00 AM, when atmospheric conditions
are best for receiving the time signal. The MFJ-133 will automatically adjust the time if necessary. If the
