General Information and Operating Instructions

BATTERY INSTALLATION:

Remove the “Battery Door” and insert one 1.5V AAA battery (not included)

Replace the “Battery Door”

TIME SETTING DISPLAY

SETTING THE TIME

In order to set the clock slide switch (S1) to “Set”.

The hour and minutes will flash. Press the “Up “ (S2) or “DOWN “ (S3) button accordingly to set the minutes. When you press the “Up “ (S2) or “DOWN “ (S3) button and keep it depressed, the time will reach 00 minutes faster. When it reaches 00 minutes and you keep the button depressed, the hours will then change faster.

SETTING THE DATE

After the time has been set, press the “12 / 24 hr MODE” button (S4). The year will start flashing.

Press the “UP “ (S2) or “DOWN “ (S3) button to set the date. Note that the day of the week changes as you change the date. When you press the “Up “ (S2) or “DOWN “ (S3) button and keep it depressed, the days will reach 01 (1st day of the month) faster. When it reaches 01 and you keep the button depressed, the month will then change faster. Be sure you are in the correct year when setting the date or the day of the week will not be right.

SETTING THE LANGUAGE

After the date has been set, press the “12 / 24 hr MODE” (S4) button again. The language in which the day of the week will be displayed now begins to flash. There are 4 delectable language:

Press the “UP “ (S2) or “DOWN “ (S3) button to reach your selected language for the day of the week display.

When everything is set properly, slide the switch (S1) to “LOCK”. This will return the clock to DISPLAY MODE.

SYNCHRONIZING WITH WWV

To synchronize the time with WWV, follow the instructions for “SETTING THE TIME”. Set the time to one minute before the designated time. Then press the “Up “ (S2) button at the signal. The seconds will automatically reset to zero each time the minutes are changed. Now your clock is synchronized with WWV.

DISPLAY MODE

In the DISPLAY MODE, the clock will show the time or the year. If the display is flashing, slide the switch (S1) into the “LOCK” position.

Selecting the 12 / 24 and month / date Display:

In order to change the time from 12 hour display to 24 hours press the “12 / 24 hr MODE” button (S4). Note that the Date Display will change from month / day of the month (12 hr Display) to day of the month / month (24 hr Display).

Selecting the Time / Year Display:

In order to display the year press either the “UP “ (S2) or “DOWN “ (S3) button. To return to the TIME DISPLAY, press the “UP “ (S2) or “DOWN “ (S3) button again.
