Instructions for Superbright MFJ-113 LED Alarm

To Operate Alarm

Slide the ON/OFF switch (6) located on the clock to the ON posttlon. The alarm will sound at the time set. To shut off the alarm for longer times, slide the ON/OFF switch (6) to the OFF position.

Set Time Mode

Slide the 12124 hour switch (8) located on the control panel to 12 or 24 hour position. The time will show American time format with AM/PM indicator in 12 hour position or European time format in 24 hour position. Battery Back-up (BATTERY NOT INCLUDED) Located on the back of the clock Is a battery hatch which c a n

be easily removed. Inside is a 9 volt transistor battery connector - A battery, such as Eveready No. 216 or equivalent, may be installed or changed without unplugging the clock from the lime. The battery will keep time if the power ever fails but the display will not show. But don't worry, we'll still get you up because the alarm will still sound.

If you have .a long power failure, the clock uses an internal clock that Is less accurate than the line frequency. You may need to make a slight adjustment in this case. Just follow the "Time Set" instructions. The alarm wilt be correct.
