MFJ 1117
Thank you for purchasing the MFJ-1117 High Current DC Outle ts. The MFJ-1117 is very versatile
in allowing y ou t o co nn ect to a s many a s four ( 4) di ffe rent HF or VH F rad ios at t he same time. The
MFJ-1117 alleviates the problems of multiple radio connections to the same
terminals. Posts A and
one 35 amp fuse to handle a combined total of 35 amps.
Note: While you may connect up to four (4) radios to the MFJ-1117, you may not draw mor e than
35 amps at one time.
The MFJ-1117 is not a power supply. The output voltage and current of the MFJ-1117 depend on
the output voltage and curre nt o f the ma in DC pow er su p ply th at th e M FJ-11 1 7 is con nected t o.

INSTALLATION
Connect the two leads of the MFJ-1117 to your DC power supply. The red (+) lead connects to the
positive (+) terminal and the black (-) lead c onnects to the negati ve (-) terminal. A g round wi re
should be connected to the GND post on the case for safety p urposes. D ue t o the high current
involved, the ground wire should be of appropriate length and gauge for safety to equipment and
CAUTION: Drawing too much current or reversing the positive (+) and negative(-) leads of the
MFJ-1117 will damage your station equipment.
