Messa in funzione

L'elettrodo viene fornito pronto per l'uso. All'apertura della
confezione, eseguire un controllo visivo e accertarsi che il vetro
sia integro. Con un cavo adatto, collegare l'elettrodo al misuratore

In caso di formazione di una bolla d'aria all'interno della punta
dell'elettrodo, rimuoverla scuotendo in senso verticale (come

se fosse un termometro clinico). Eseguite queste operazioni,
l'elettrodo è pronto per la taratura (verica) e la misura.

Conservazione

Dopo l'uso, pulire l'elettrodo con cura con acqua distillata.
Riposizionare il cappuccio di imbibizione (vedere Fig. 3),
contenente elettroliti o InLab Storage Solution (N. art. 30111142),
(la membrana in vetro deve essere umettata). L'elettrodo dovrebbe

Avvertenza: dopo ogni utilizzo dell'elettrodo con una soluzione

Ввод в эксплуатацию

Электрод поставляется готовым к использованию. При рас­паковке электрода убедитесь в целости стеклянных частей.
Соедините электрод подходящим кабелем с pH-метром (см.
рис. 1 и 2). Снимите защитный колпачок (см. рис. 3) и промой­те электрод дистиллированной водой. Если в кончике электрода
виден воздушный пузырек, избавьтесь от него, встряхивая
электрод в вертикальном направлении (как медицинский
градусник). Теперь электрод готов к калибровке и измерению.

Хранение

После применения тщательно промойте электрод дистиллиро­ванной водой. Снова наденьте защитный колпачок (см. рис. 3),
заполненный электролитом или средством InLab Storage Solution
(номер для заказа 30111142). Стеклянная мембрана должна

быть смочена. Храните электрод в вертикальном положении
при комнатной температуре.

Поиск ошибок

Убедитесь в том, что...
– все кабели подключены правильно, а разъемы не загрязнены;
– в кончике электрода нет воздушного пузырька;
– для калибровки используются свежие буферные растворы.

Указание: после каждого применения раствора для очистки

Operating instructions

Intended Use

METTLER-TOLEDO InLab® pH electrodes are intended for precise
pH measurement in the laboratory and in the eld at atmospheric

pressure.

Technical Data

General Safety Information

When working with chemicals, all relevant safety
regulations provided by the manufacturer and the
laboratory must be observed.

The electrode is only intended for the purpose specied
above. The manufacturer does not assume liability
for any damage that results from use outside of the

intended purpose.

The electrode is made partly of glass; there is therefore a
risk of injury in the event of breakage.

The information provided below must be observed,

as otherwise the measurement results may be distorted
or the electrode may become damaged.
Do not scratch the glass membrane, rub it dry with
a cloth, or touch it with your ngers.
Do not use the electrode to stir the measurement

medium or touch the bottom or walls of the measuring
vessel.

Commissioning

The electrode is supplied ready for use. When unpacking, please
carry out a visual inspection to check that the glass is intact.
Use asuitable cable to connect the electrode to the pH meter
(seeFig. 1 and 2). Now remove the watering cap (see Fig. 3)

and rinse the electrode with distilled water. If there is an air bubble

inside the electrode tip, eliminate it by shaking the electrode up
and down (as you would a clinical thermometer). The electrode
is then ready for calibration and measurement.

Storage

After use, rinse the electrode well with distilled water. Replace the

watering cap (see Fig. 3), lled with electrolyte or InLab storage
solution (order no. 30111142), (the glass membrane must
be wetted). The electrode should be stored upright and at room

temperature.

Make sure that ...

– all cables are connected correctly and the connections are clean.

– there is no air bubble inside the electrode tip.
– fresh buffer solutions are used for calibration.

a cleaning solution. After dry storage, the electrode must be wetted

Mise en service

L'électrode est livrée prête à l'emploi. Veuillez contrôler visuelle­ment l'absence de casse des parties en verre lors du déballage.
Brancher l'électrode au pH-mètre avec un câble adapté (voir

illustrations 1 et 2). Maintenant, retirer le capuchon d'humidica­tion (voir illustration 3) et rincer l'électrode à l'eau distillée. Si une

bulle d'air se trouve à l'intérieur de la pointe de l'électrode, elle doit
être éliminée en secouant l'électrode verticalement (comme par

exemple avec un thermomètre à mercure). Ainsi, l'électrode est

prête pour le calibrage et la mesure.

Stockage

Après utilisation, rincer abondamment l'électrode avec de l'eau

distillée. Repositionner le capuchon d'humidication (voir illustra­tion 3), rempli d'électrolyte ou de solution de conservation InLab
(réf. art. 30111142); la membrane de verre doit être mouillée.

L'électrode doit être conservée verticalement, à température
ambiante.

Recherche des pannes

S'assurer que...
– tous les câbles sont correctement branchés et que les raccords

sont propres.

– aucune bulle d'air ne se trouve à l'intérieur de la pointe

de l'électrode.

– des solutions-tampon fraîches sont utilisées pour le calibrage.

Indicaciones generales de seguridad

Cuando se trabaja con productos químicos, deben

seguridad del fabricante y del laboratorio.

Indicaciones de seguridad especícas del producto

El electrodo está destinado exclusivamente para el uso

previsto mencionado anteriormente. El fabricante no
se responsabiliza por los daños ocasionados como
consecuencia del uso inapropiado.
El electrodo contiene piezas de vidrio, si éstas se
rompen existe riesgo de lesiones.
Las indicaciones que aparecen a continuación deben
ser observadas, de lo contrario los resultados de las
mediciones pueden no ser correctos o los electrodos
pueden resultar dañados.

La membrana no debe rayarse ni secarse con un paño
frotándola ni tocarse con los dedos.

No se debe agitar ni revolver la muestra con el electrodo
ni éste debe tocar el fondo o las paredes del recipiente
de medición.

Puesta en marcha

El electrodo se suministra listo para ser usado. Al desembalarlo,

comprobar que no haya vidrios rotos. Conectar el electrodo al
pH-metro con un cable adecuado (ver g. 1 y 2). A continuación,
quitar el capuchón de humectación (ver g. 3) y enjuagar el

electrodo con agua destilada. Si hubiera una burbuja de aire en
el interior de la punta del electrodo, agitarlo en posición vertical

(como se haría con un termómetro para medir la ebre) para eli­minar la burbuja. Ahora, el electrodo está listo para la calibración
y la medición.

Almacenamiento

Tras usarlo, lave el electrodo en profundidad con agua destilada.

Nota: El electrodo siempre debe volver a calibrarse después de
tratarlo con un producto de limpieza. Tras el almacenamiento en
seco, el electrodo debe dejarse en remojo en electrolito durante
aproximadamente 24 horas.

Eliminación de residuos

Conforme a las exigencias de la Directiva Europea
2002/96/CE sobre residuos de aparatos eléctricos yelec­trónicos (RAEE/WEEE), este producto no debe eliminarse

con los residuos domésticos. Esta prohibición es asi-

mismo válida para los países que no pertenecen a la UE, cuyas

normativas nacionales en vigor así lo exijan. Este producto debe
eliminarse de acuerdo a las normativas locales en un lugar de

disposición especíco para aparatos eléctricos y electrónicos. De

surgir preguntas al respecto, por favor dirigirse a las autoridades
responsables o al distribuidor donde se adquirió este producto.

Si se traspasa este producto aterceros (p.ej., para ser usado
con nes privados, comerciales o industriales), por analogía esta

Allgemeine Sicherheitshinweise

Bei Arbeiten mit Chemikalien müssen alle relevanten Si­cherheitsbestimmungen des Herstellers und des Labors
eingehalten werden.

Produktspezische Sicherheitshinweise

Die Elektrode ist nur für den oben erwähnten Einsatz­zweck bestimmt. Der Hersteller übernimmt keine Haf-

tung für Schäden, die aus nicht bestimmungsgemäßem
Gebrauch resultieren.

Die Elektrode besteht teilweise aus Glas, bei Bruch

besteht Verletzungsgefahr.
Untenstehende Hinweise beachten, da sonst die
Messergebnisse verfälscht oder die Elektrode beschädigt
werden kann.
Glasmebran nicht zerkratzen, nicht mit einem Tuch
trocken reiben oder mit den Fingern berühren.
Mit der Elektrode nicht das Messmedium umrühren bzw.
den Boden oder die Wände des Messgefässes berühren.

Inbetriebnahme

Die Elektrode wird gebrauchsfertig geliefert. Bitte überprüfen Sie

beim Auspacken visuell auf Glasbruch. Verbinden Sie die Elektrode
mit einem geeigneten Kabel mit dem pH-Meter (siehe Abb. 1

und 2). Nun wird die Wässerungskappe entfernt (siehe Abb. 3)

und die Elektrode mit destilliertem Wasser abgespült. Sollte sich

im Inneren der Elektrodenspitze eine Luftblase benden, diese

durch Schütteln in senkrechter Richtung (wie z.B. bei einem

Fieberthermometer) entfernen. Damit ist die Elektrode bereit für die

Kalibrierung und Messung.

Lagerung

Nach Gebrauch die Elektrode gut mit destilliertem Wasser abspü-

len. Die Wässerungskappe (siehe Abb. 3), gefüllt mit Elektrolyten
oder InLab Storage Solution (Best. Nr. 30111142), wieder auf­setzen (die Glasmembran muss benetzt sein). Die Elektrode sollte

senkrecht und bei Raumtemperatur gelagert werden.

Fehlersuche

Stellen Sie sicher, dass...
– alle Kabel korrekt verbunden und die Anschlüsse sauber sind.

– sich keine Luftblase im Inneren der Elektrodenspitze bendet.

– frische Pufferlösungen für die Kalibrierung verwendet werden.

Hinweis: Nach jeder Behandlung der Elektrode mit einer Reini­gungslösung muss neu kalibriert werden. Nach Trockenlagerung

muss die Elektrode ca. 24 Stunden im Elektrolyten gewässert

werden.

Entsorgung

In Übereinstimmung mit den Anforderungen der Europäi­schen Richtlinie 2002/96/EG über Elektro- und Elektronik-

Altgeräte (WEEE) darf dieses Produkt nicht mit dem

Hausmüll entsorgt werden. Sinngemäss gilt dies auch für
Länder ausserhalb der EU entsprechend den geltenden nationalen
Regelungen. Bitte entsorgen Sie dieses Produkt gemäss den
örtlichen Bestimmungen in einer getrennten Sammlung für Elektro­und Elektronikgeräte. Bei allfälligen Fragen wenden Sie sich bitte
an die zuständige Behörde oder den Händler, bei dem Sie dieses
Produkt erworben haben. Bei Weitergabe dieses Produktes (z.B.
