Metro C5 T-Series Short Form Specifications (Digital Controls)
Metro C5 T-Series with Transport Armour™ heavy-duty heated holding cabinets shall be constructed
of type 304 stainless steel with CFC free foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation. The cabinet shall
have a vaulted door for maximum structural integrity, with 11 gauge stainless steel hinges, and an
information panel for documentation management. The cabinet shall have the ability to keep hot food
safe and out of the danger zone for 5 hours or longer while unplugged. It shall have steel reinforced
polymer handles that double as bumpers, polymer Armour panels with built in vertical hand holds
mounted to the sides of the cabinet. It shall also include a three-point-control handle on the back side
of the cabinet (except ½ height cabinets). The cabinet shall have a maximum operating temperature
of 200°F, be rated at 120V, 12A, 60Hz, 1400W, and have a coiled power cord with a NEMA 5-15P
plug. The cabinet shall have top mount solid state digital controls with a battery operated mobile
power system that gently circulates air inside the cabinet and keeps the controller illuminated and
functional while unplugged. The cabinet shall be 73.88” (1876mm), 65.44” (1662mm), or 48.56”
(1234mm) tall, 30” (762mm) wide, and 39.25” (997mm) deep. Slides will be adjustable bottom or lip
load style aluminum extrusions on 1.675” (43mm), or fixed aluminum lip load on 1.675” (43mm)
increments. The cabinet shall be energy Star, UL, CUL, and NSF listed.
