Sleep Mode:
In order to conserve battery life, the touchpad unit will enter into a “Sleep Mode” if the unit has not been used for 4 hours. Once the unit has been fully charged and the charging system has switched to trickle charge, the unit will enter into a sleep mode. Nothing is necessary to “wake up” the unit. Enter the password in to unlock the unit. You may need to enter the password twice.

User, Pharmacist, or Supervisor
1. Enter 4, 5, or 6 digit code —
(#, #, #, #, #, #).
System turns on with first # pressed.
If code is VALID system will automatically unlock with the last # entered (Green light will illuminate on touchpad).

NOTE 3: For security reasons, once the user begins a transaction (normal operation by pressing the PIN key to
change code, or changing the access times by pressing the “TIME” key), they are committed to the successful entry of the PIN number to perform the particular function. Failure results in being denied access to that particular function only for the specified access denials time. While the other functions will not be impeded by one function denied, pressing the first key for that function (e.g., PIN or TIME) will reset the timer for that procedure. The typical user may want to keep this tamper-protection feature set to a relatively short time, 1-2 minutes.
