Disconnect the negative battery ter­minal to prevent an accidental short
circuit.

Twist and slide down the cover at the
base of the shift knob. (Figure A)

audio/climate control/display bracket
assembly.

Remove the (4) Phillips screws secur­ing the factory climate control button
assembly to the radio panel and
remove. Note: Retain all hardware to

ISO DIN HEAD UNIT PROVISIONS:

Position the aftermarket radio

into audio/climate control/dis­play bracket assembly and
secure using the bottom (2)
Phillips screw positions and the
factory hardware. (Figure A)

Install the (4) supplied retaining

clips onto the 99-7404 in the
same locations as the factory
radio panel.

Locate the factory wiring har-

ness in the dash. Metra recom­mends using the proper mating
adapter and making the con­nections as shown. (Isolate and
individually tape off the ends of
any unused wires to prevent
electrical short circuit)

A) Strip wire ends back 1/2"
B) Twist ends together
C) Solder
D) Tape

Re-connect the negative battery

terminal and test the unit for
proper operation.

Reassemble in reverse order of

disassembly using the 99-7404
instead of the factory radio
panel.
