Anleitungen vor der Installation lesen. Das Produkt muss nach den
geltenden Regeln und Vorschriften installiert und betrieben werden.
Werden die Hinweise in dieser Anleitung nicht exakt befolgt, kann
es zu Bränden oder Explosionen mit Personen und/oder Sachfolgeschäden kommen.
BESCHREIBUNG
Die patentierte Gassteckdose PLUG1 ermöglicht dem Benutzer
den Anschluss von Gasgeräten, wie zum Beispiel Gasherden,
Woks, Wäschetrocknern, Gaskaminen, Terrassenstrahlern und
Terrassengrills über eine flexible Schlauchverbindung an die
Gasinstallation. Der Benutzer kann diesen Anschluss zu jeder Zeit
beliebig oft selber herstellen bzw. lösen. Die PLUG1 ist für den
Innen- und Außenbereich geeignet.
Die Gassteckdose PLUG1 realisiert die Anforderungen des Regelwerkes und verfügt über folgende Funktionen:
▪ Ein integrierter Gasströmungswächter sperrt bei Überschreitung eines
bestimmten Durchusses selbsttätig die Gaszufuhr ab.
▪ Eine thermisch auslösende Absperreinrichtung am Gaseingang der
Gassteckdose sperrt ab einem denierten Temperaturbereich die
Gaszufuhr selbsttätig.
▪ Die mechanische Verriegelung der PLUG1 schließt automatisch, wenn
der Stecker gezogen wird.

ALLGEMEINE HINWEISE
▪ Vorsicht beim Umgang mit offenem Feuer oder Wärmestrahlern. Die
zulässige Umgebungstemperatur der PLUG1 beträgt maximal 60 °C.
▪ Die PLUG1 nicht mit Lösungsmitteln, Öl, Fett oder anderen Chemikalien
in Kontakt bringen und nicht mit Farbanstrichen versehen. Die Reingung
kann mit einem feuchtem Tuch und etwas Geschirrspülmittel erfolgen.
▪ Die PLUG1 ist vor mechanischen Einwirkungen zu schützen. Die Be-
dienung muss entsprechend Abbildung 1 gewaltfrei erfolgen.
▪ Es dürfen nur nach DIN EN 14800 und DIN 3383-1 zertifizierte
Sicherheits-Gasschlauchleitungen der Klassen BMH, BMN, BMS
verwendet werden.

BENUTZERHINWEISE
Bei Renovierungsarbeiten (z. B. Tapezieren) besteht die Möglichkeit,
nach dem Lösen der zwei Schrauben auf dem Oberteil, das Oberteil (bzw.
Oberteil und Mittelteil) von der Wand bis zu einem spürbaren Anschlag
abzuziehen (siehe Abbildung 4). Das Abziehen darf nur mit der Hand
ohne Zuhilfenahme von Werkzeugen erfolgen.
Ein gewaltsames Abziehen des Gassteckdosen-Oberteils führt zur Zerstörung der PLUG1. Alle Teile der PLUG1 sind vor Verschmutzung zu schützen.
Das einwandfreie Wiederandrücken und Verschrauben des Oberteils muss
gewährleistet sein. Das Oberteil ist nach Abschluss der Arbeiten wieder
anzuschrauben. Das Abziehen und Wiederandrücken des GassteckdosenOberteils (bzw. Oberteil und Mittelteil) ist kein Eingriff in die Gasinstallation.
Bei Fragen oder Problemen wenden Sie sich bitte an einen autorisierten
Gas-Fachinstallateur.

Read these instructions carefully. Failure to follow them could result
in personal injury and/ or property damage. The product must be
installed and operated according to all local regulations.
DESCRIPTION
Connect and disconnect gas appliances quickly and easily with the
patented PLUG1 gas outlet. PLUG1 lets you safely move, store, or
switch portable appliances – barbecues, patio heaters, and woks.
And it has never been easier to service or install stationary ap-
pliances such as gas ranges, clothes dryers and gas re places.
PLUG1 gas outlet is designed to fulll the following safety require-
ments:
▪ An integrated excess ow valve shuts off the gas ow when a predened
closing ow rate is reached.
▪ A thermally activated shut-off device at the gas inlet of the gas outlet
automatically shuts off the gas ow when a predened temperature
is reached.

GENERAL NOTES
▪ Do not subject the PLUG1 gas outlet to open re or excessive heat.
PLUG1 is designed to operate at a maximum ambient temperature
of 60 °C (140 °F).
▪ Do not expose PLUG1 to solvents, oil, grease or other chemical agents.
Do not paint PLUG1’s cover plate or any of its components. The cover
plate may be cleaned with a damp cloth and a mild dishwashing liquid.
▪ Do not subject PLUG1 to mechanical stress. Proper usage, as depicted
in illustration 1, requires no excessive force.
▪ Use only exible safety gas hoses certied according to DIN EN 14800
and DIN 3383-1 of the classes BMH, BMN, BMS.

Do not pull the hose taut when the plug
is in the gas outlet.
INFORMATION FOR THE END-USER
The cover plate (respectively cover plate and housing) can be loosened
and pulled slightly from the wall surface to facilitate renovation work,
e. g. painting or replacing wallpaper. To maintain the integrity of the
PLUG1 installation, only pull the cover plate from the wall by hand (see
illustration 4). Do not use any tools to pry the cover plate from the wall.
The use of excessive force could damage the PLUG1 or its connection
to the gas line and cause leaks.
Make sure that nothing obstructs the cover plate as it is pushed ush to
the wall and re-secured by the screws.
If the procedure of loosening and re-tightening the cover plate is performed according to the above instructions, the gas connection will in
no way be compromised. Please contact your authorized gas- installer,
if you have any questions.
