Meridian and Land Rover release the world’s first 3D in-car surround music experience for The Range Rover
Meridian and Land Rover have released a choice of three audio systems including the world’s first 3D surround system - for The Range Rover. The fourth generation Range Rover is an evolution of an iconic design. With Land Rover strength at its heart, the all-new model has been engineered from the ground up to be the most capable, most refined Range Rover ever.
The top of the range is the Meridian Signature Reference System, a 1700­Watts, 24-channel stereo/surround system driving 29 loudspeakers mounted around the vehicle cabin, including roof mounted and personal seat-back centre loudspeakers. The system incorporates Meridian Trifield 3D technology to deliver a unique, personal and incredibly realistic experience adding a three-dimensional sense of space.

In addition to the Meridian Signature Reference System, customers can choose between the Meridian Sound System, a 380-Watts, 12-channel stereophonic system featuring 13 loudspeakers including a dual-channel

subwoofer, and the Meridian Surround Sound System, a 825-Watts, 16­channel stereo/surround system driving 19 loudspeakers mounted around the vehicle cabin, including co-axial tweeter/midrange drive units in the front centre and rear surround parcel shelf locations. The system uses Meridian Trifield technology, enabling the recreation of a concert-like experience for every occupant.
