Meridian 561 tape module diagnostic display.
When a tape module is fitted to a Meridian 561 an extra diagnostic display becomes available.
Three pieces of information are sent from the module to the main processor. These indicate;
1. The state of the stream presented to the main input.
2. The stream presented to the copy input.
3. The operating modes of the module.

4 = digital audio without SRC
5 = data marked stream
9 = mute
0 = SRC in bypass mode

1 = Route 1, audio only
(+ mute = 9)
2 = Route 2, audio only

3 = Sample rate convert
(+ mute = B)
B = mute
