To use a DSW.2 as the subwoofer in a Meridian Digital Theatre

The DSW.2 is ideal as the subwoofer in a Meridian Digital Theatre, in combination with DSP3200 or DSP3300 front and
rear loudspeakers and a DSP3300 centre speaker. The system can be controlled by a Meridian Digital Surround Controller such as the G68. The following diagram shows how to connect the speakers using “home run” wiring.
Connect the L+R SpeakerLink output on the lower row of
the G68 to the Master digital speaker (here the front left speaker), using a Meridian SpeakerLink lead.
Connect the appropriate SpeakerLink outputs on the G68
to each of the remaining speakers and the subwoofer, using Meridian SpeakerLink leads.
DSW.2 User Guide
Set the Channel selector on the front and rear left speakers
to the L/C position, and on the front and rear right speakers to the R position.
Set the Channel selector on the centre speaker to the L/C
position, and on the DSW.2 subwoofer to the 2 position.
Alternatively you can connect the speakers using “daisy chain” wiring: connect the front and rear L speakers to the G68, and then link each pair of speakers together by connecting the output from the L speaker to the input of the R speaker. Likewise connect the centre speaker to the G68, and then link the output from the centre speaker to the input of the subwoofer.
Note that if the system includes DSP loudspeakers with displays, such as the DSP5200, one of them must be set up as the master in the system.
