2) Press th e but ton qui ckl y when th e MP 3 player is u nde r play “ ” st atus to

the USB ext ens ion cabl e s upp lie d. Pre ss the b utton to po wer on and the LC D
scree n wil l sho w “Re ady ” whe n it is suc ces sfu lly c onn ect ed with P C.
2) A window wil l open on you r PC s task bar sta tin g th at new har dwa re has
been fou nd an d that i t is a mass storage de vic e. This wil l the n chan ge to a
messa ge st ati ng th at th e new h ardwa re is r ead y to us e.
3) Open “ My Comp ute r” on your PC. You shou ld se e t he new device l ist ed in
your di sk dr ive s.
NOTE: If the new driv e is not li ste d it may b e nece ssary to rest art yo ur
compu ter .
4) You can sim ply cop y files t o th e new dri ve a s you wou ld a ny ot her dis k dr ive .
