INFORMATION:

USING AN ADAPTER (INCLUDED)
1. Plug the small end of the AC adapter into the DC
IN jack on the rear of the right speaker.
2. Connect the other end (with two blades) into an
AC outlet having 120V, 60Hz AC only.
NOTES:
Only use the supplied AC adapter which has the
following specs: DC 9V, 800mA
z.
The batteries are automatically disconnected when the AC adapter is used.
CAUTION: When not using AC power, disconnect the AC adapter from the wall outlet by pulling the plug (not the cord). Do not touch the AC adapter
with wet hands. Fully insert the plug without exposing any part of the blade.
BATTERY INSTALLATION
To use this unit with battery power, remove the battery door on the bottom of the right speaker by pressing on the tab and then lifting the battery door up. Insert four (4) ‘AA’ size batteries following the illustration below.
NOTE: The AC power cord must be disconnected from the DC IN jack on the rear of the right speaker in order for the unit to operate on battery power.

BATTERY PRECAUTIONS
Follow these precautions when using batteries in this device:
1. Use only the size and type of batteries specified.
2. Be sure to follow the correct polarity when installing the batteries as indicated in the battery compartment. Reversed batteries may cause damage to the device.
3. Do not mix different types of batteries together (e.g. Alkaline, Rechargeable and Carbon­zinc) or old batteries with fresh ones.
4. If the device is not to be used for a long period of time, remove the batteries to prevent damage or injury from possible battery leakage.
5. Do not try to recharge batteries not intended to be recharged; they can overheat and rupture. (Follow battery manufacturer
’s directions.)

OPERATION
Plug the unit in or insert batteries as described on page 4. Place each speaker on the Speaker stand, if desired.

Insert one side of the audio cable's plug into the L (Left) Audio Out Jack on the Right speaker and the other side into the Audio In Jack on the left speaker.

Connect the other audio cable’s plug into the LINE IN jack on the Right speaker and the other end into a LINE OUT jack on an external unit.

Turn on the external unit. Rotate the Power/Volume control clockwise until a click is heard to turn the speakers on; the Power indicator will light. Rotate to adjust the volume as desired. Rotate counterclockwise until a click is heard to turn the speakers off. All other functions can be performed directly on the external unit.

CHANGING THE SPEAKER RINGS
Four Speaker Rings are included and can be changed as follows:
To remove speaker ring, push in on the speaker ring, then rotate it counter-clockwise.

Gently pull the speaker ring out.

To replace, position the tabs of the speaker ring onto the speaker as shown.

Rotate the speaker ring clockwise until it is locked into place
