AC CONNECTION

Insert the small end of the AC adapter into the DC IN 5V jack (located on the rear of the unit). Connect the other end to a wall outlet having 120V AC, 60 Hz. AC Adapter, DC 5V Z

NOTES:

• Remove both the DC plug and the AC IN plug to disconnect the AC adapter when not in use.

• Use only the supplied AC adapter which has the following specs:

DC 5V Z

• If there is a power failure, the clock will be reset.

To DC IN Jack

INSERTING AN iPod/iPhone

The iPod/iPhone will charge as long as this unit is connected with the AC adapter.

Please see the next page for instructions on using an iPod/ iPhone with this unit.

Slide the iPod/iPhone (A) into the iPod/iPhone compartment (B) (as shown). Gently push down so the connector on the iPod/iPhone slides onto the connector on this unit.

NOTES:

• When the iPod/iPhone is connected to this unit, it will be in the Pause mode.

• CHARGING: When the iPod/ iPhone is inserted into the dock, whether this unit is on or off, the iPod/iPhone’s battery will charge until it is full.

Press the Dock Release button and the iPod/iPhone compartment will pop out. Pull down gently until the compartment is locked by the iPod Dock Close button.

Press the iPod Dock Close button and the iPod/iPhone compartment will pop up. Push up gently until the iPod/iPhone compartment locks by the Dock Release button again.

OPERATION

With an iPod/iPhone connected (see previous page), if this unit is not already on, turn this unit on by pressing the Power/ALARM RESET button 1. Repeatedly press the SOURCE button 2 to select iPod/iPhone mode; will appear in the display.

You can operate the iPod/iPhone using its own controls, as per its owner’s manual, or you can use the controls on this unit to operate the iPod/iPhone.

USING AN iPod/iPhone WITH THIS UNIT

To play/pause the iPod/iPhone: Press the Play/Pause (®p)/ RECALL STATION button to start playback on your iPod/iPhone. Press again to pause playback and press yet again to resume playback.

To skip forward or backward on the iPod/iPhone: Press the TUNING/ Skip/Search Down o 1 or Up n 2 button to skip to the beginning of the current track, previous or next track. To search forward or backward on the iPod/iPhone: Press and hold the TUNING/Skip/Search Down o 1 or Up n 2 button to search within the currently-playing track.

To adjust the main volume: Press the VOLUME Up (+) 1 or Down (–) 2 button to increase or decrease the volume.

ADJUSTING THE VOLUME

NOTES:

• After you have adjusted the volume setting, if you turn the unit off and then on again, the volume level will be set to the level you selected prior to turning the unit off.

• To turn this unit off, press the Power/ALARM RESET button.

• While there is an incoming call for the iPhone, the music will pause. After nishing the call, the music will resume playing.

USING THE FM RADIO – SETTING THE RADIO REGION

This unit allows you to set the desired radio region. With the power off, press the SOURCE button 1 and then press and hold the TUNING/Skip/Search Down o 2 button until the region abbreviation (e.g. R1, see below) starts blinking in the display. Press the TUNING/ Skip/Search Down o 2 or Up n 3 button to select the desired region and press the SET button to conrm.

• R1: USA

• R2: Europe, Austria

• R3: Japan

Region 1: USA

87.5MHz to 108MHz Region 2: Europe, Austria

USING THE FM RADIO

Turn this unit on by pressing the

Power/ALARM RESET button.

Repeatedly press the SOURCE button to select the FM Radio mode; will appear in the

display.

Repeatedly press the TUNING/ Skip/Search Down o 1 or Up n 2 button to manually advance the frequency in the display up or down until the desired frequency appears. For auto tuning, press and hold the TUNING/Skip/Search Down o 1 or Up n 2 button until the frequency in the display starts to scan, and then release. The tuner will search and then stop on the next strong station it nds. Repeat this step until the desired frequency appears in the display.

NOTES:

• See the previous page for how to adjust the volume.

• To turn this unit off, press the Power/ALARM RESET button.

FM Antenna: Unravel and extend the FM wire antenna for best reception.

OPERATION (CONTINUED)

Follow Steps 1-3 on the previous page to tune a station. Press and hold the Play/Pause (®p)/ RECALL STATION button; the Preset Number will blink in the display.

While the Preset Number is blinking, press the VOLUME Up (+) 1 or Down (–) 2 button to select a desired Preset (P1P6). Press the Play/Pause (®p)/ RECALL STATION button 3 again to conrm; the station will be saved into memory. Repeat to program up to six Presets, as desired.

SETTING THE SIX RADIO PRESETS

Follow Steps 1-2 on the previous page to turn the unit on and select the FM Radio mode. Press and release the Play/Pause (®p)/ RECALL STATION button; the Preset Number will appear in the display.

Repeatedly press the Play/Pause (®p)/RECALL STATION button to select and tune in the desired Preset (1-6).

RETRIEVING THE SIX RADIO PRESETS

USING AN EXTERNAL UNIT

Insert one end of the audio cable (not included) into the LINE OUT jack on your external audio unit and the other end into the LINE IN jack on the rear of this unit.

Turn this unit on by pressing the Power/ALARM RESET button 1. Repeatedly press the SOURCE button 2 to select the AUX mode;

will appear in the display. The external audio unit’s output sound will be heard through this unit’s speakers.

NOTES:

• See page 8 for how to adjust the volume.

• To turn this unit off, press the Power/ALARM RESET button.

• If you wish to listen to the iPod/iPhone in the iPod compartment, repeatedly press the SOURCE button to select iPod/iPhone mode;

will appear in the display.

With the unit off and NO iPod/ iPhone docked, press and hold the SET button 1 until the 24h or 12h starts blinking. Within ten seconds, press the TUNING/Skip/ Search Down o 2 or Up n 3 button on the main unit to set to 24 hour (military time) or 12 hour (Standard USA time).

Press the SET button 1; the minutes will blink. Within ten seconds, press the TUNING/Skip/ Search Down o 2 or Up n 3 button to set the current minute.

Press the SET button 1; the year will blink. Within ten seconds, press the TUNING/Skip/Search Down o 2 or Up n 3 button to set the current year.

TO SET OR RESET THE ACTUAL TIME

Follow the instructions below to manually set the time. To automatically set the time with the iPod/iPhone, see the following page.

Press the SET button 1; the hours will blink. Within ten seconds, press the TUNING/Skip/ Search Down o 2 or Up n 3 button on the main unit to set the current hour. NOTE: If set to 12 hour in the previous step, be sure to observe the AM or PM indicators to make sure you have set the hour correctly.

Press the SET button 1; the month will blink. Within ten seconds, press the TUNING/Skip/ Search Down o 2 or Up n 3 button to set the current month.

Press the SET button (or wait approx. ten seconds) and the time and date will be set.

Press the SET button 1; the date will blink. Within ten seconds, press the TUNING/Skip/Search Down o 2 or Up n 3 button to set the current date. NOTE: When the date is set, the correct day of the week will also be set automatically.

NOTE:

If there is a power failure, the clock will be reset.

With the power on, connect an iPod/iPhone as shown on page 7. Press and hold the SET button for approximately 10 seconds. The time and day of the week will then be synced.

TO SYNC THE TIME

NOTES:

• This unit can automatically sync the time with the iPod/iPhone at the rst time. The iPod/iPhone should already be docked onto the unit before plugging in AC adapter. When the AC adapter is plugged into the unit and in OFF mode, the time will synchronize from the iPod/iPhone to the unit automatically.

• The Sync function will not set the alarm.

• If you have been traveling, please make sure to reset your iPhone or iPod device so that the system clock on your device is updated to your current time zone. We recommend that you turn your iPhone or iPod device Off and On. Also make sure to turn the unit Off and On and then, dock your iPhone or iPod device to Sync.

Press the ALARM 1/2 button 1 once (to set Alarm 1) or TWICE (to set Alarm 2). After selecting the desired alarm, press the SET button 2; the alarm hours will blink.

TO SET OR RESET THE ALARM TIME

Within ten seconds, press the TUNING/Skip/Search Down o 1 or Up n 2 button to set the alarm hour. If the 24/12 hour option is set to 12 hour mode, be sure to observe the AM or PM indicators to make sure you have set the hour correctly. Press the SET button 3; the minutes will blink.

Within ten seconds, press the TUNING/Skip/Search Down o 1 or Up n 2 button to set the source (iPod/iPhone, FM Radio or Buzzer). Press the SET button 3; the volume level will blink.

Within ten seconds, press the TUNING/Skip/Search Down o 1 or Up n 2 button to set the maximum alarm volume. Press the SET button 3 to conrm the setting. The alarm will then be set.

Within ten seconds, press the TUNING/Skip/Search Down o 1 or Up n 2 button to set the alarm minute. Press the SET button 3; the day will blink.

Within ten seconds, press the TUNING/Skip/Search Down o 1 or Up n 2 button to set the weekly option (all 7 days: MON-SUN, weekdays only: MON-FRI, or weekends only: SAT-SUN). Press the SET button 3; the Source will blink.

NOTES:

• When the alarm time is reached, the alarm icon will blink in the display.

• When the alarm time is reached, the alarm volume level will be set to the minimum and it will increase one level continuously until the preset maximum alarm volume level is reached.

• While the alarm is sounding, if the other alarm reaches the alarm time, the rst alarm will stop sounding and the second alarm will start sounding.

• TO SHUT OFF THE ALARM, see the TO SHUT THE ALARM OFF section on the next page.

If set to iPod/iPhone, select your desired track, insert the iPod/ iPhone as shown on page 6 and turn off the iPod/iPhone. When the alarm time is reached, the unit will start playback on the track that you selected and the tracks following it in the playlist. The unit will playback for 60 minutes then turn off automatically or, if the remaining playlist has less than 60 minutes of playback time remaining, the unit will just playback the remaining time of the playlist and then stop.

If set to Radio (in Step 5), select your desired station as shown on page 9 and turn off the unit by pressing the Power button before setting the alarm. NOTE: When the alarm time is reached, the unit will automatically turn on the Radio to the frequency that you selected, and will play for 60 minutes and then shut off.

Press the Power/ALARM RESET button to turn off the alarm and the alarm will be set for the next day.

TO SHUT THE ALARM OFF

With the power off, press the ALARM 1/2 button once to activate Alarm 1; will appear in the display. Press the ALARM 1/2 button a second time to activate Alarm 2; will appear in the display. Press the ALARM 1/2 button a third time to activate both alarms; will appear in the display. Press once again to cancel the alarms, and both indicators will turn off.

TO ACTIVATE/DEACTIVATE AN ALARM

While the alarm is sounding, press the SNOOZE/DIMMER button; the Snooze indicator will appear in the display. The alarm will turn back on automatically ten minutes later.

SNOOZE

The duration of the SNOOZE time is set at 10-minute intervals. The SNOOZE function will remain active for a total of one hour per alarm cycle.

NOTE:

To cancel the SNOOZE function (the alarm will not turn back on), press the Power/ALARM RESET button (the SNOOZE indicator will disappear from the display).

With the unit on and the alarm not sounding, press the SNOOZE/ DIMMER button 1; the Snooze indicator and “OFF” will appear in the display. Repeatedly press the TUNING/Skip/Search Down o 2 or Up n 3 button to select the desired Sleep time (10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, or 90 minutes). After ten seconds, the Sleep time will disappear from the display. To view the remaining Sleep time, press the SNOOZE/DIMMER button once. NOTE: To cancel the Sleep function, press the Power/ALARM RESET button to turn off the unit.

SLEEP

With the unit off, repeatedly press the SNOOZE/DIMMER button to decrease the display brightness to the desired level. There are ve levels of brightness to choose from.

9. Ne mettez pas en échec la sécurité dépendant de la che polarisée ou avec mise à la terre. Une che polarisée a deux lames avec une plus large que l’autre. Une che avec mise à la terre a deux lames et une troisième broche de mise à la terre. La lame large ou la troisième broche ont été prévues pour votre sécurité. Si vous ne parvenez pas à brancher la che fournie dans votre prise, consultez un électricien an qu’il remplace la prise obsolète.

10. Protégez le cordon d’alimentation pour qu’il ne soit pas piétiné ou pincé en particulier au niveau des ches, des prises de courant et à l’endroit où il sort de l’appareil.

11. Utilisez uniquement les xations ou les accessoires recommandés par le fabricant.

12. Utilisez uniquement avec un chariot, un pied, un trépied/ iphone, un support ou une table recommandé(e) par le fabricant ou vendu(e) avec l’appareil. Si un chariot est utilisé, faites preuve de prudence lors du déplacement de l’ensemble appareil/chariot pour éviter toute blessure corporelle due à un basculement.

13. Débranchez cet appareil pendant les orages ou en vue d’une longue période d’inutilisation.

14. Adressez-vous à du personnel de réparation qualié. Une réparation est nécessaire si l’appareil a été endommagé d’une quelconque manière, par ex. si le câble ou la che d’alimentation est abîmé(e), si du liquide a été renversé, si des objets sont tombés dans l’appareil, ou encore si ce dernier a été exposé à la pluie ou à l’humidité, ne fonctionne pas normalement, ou est tombé.

15. AVERTISSEMENT : Pour réduire le risque d’incendie ou de choc électrique, n’exposez pas cet appareil à la pluie ni à l’humidité. Aucun objet contenant du liquide, un vase par exemple, ne doit être posé sur l’appareil.

L’iPod/iPhone se recharge aussi longtemps que cet appareil est connecté à l’adaptateur secteur.

Faites glisser l’iPod/iPhone (A) dans le compartiment pour iPod/ iPhone (B) (comm e indiqué). Pressez doucement pour que le connecteur sur l’iPod glisse sur le connecteur de cet appareil.

• Lorsque l’iPod est connecté à l’appareil, celui-ci passe en mode Pause.

• CHARGEMENT : Lorsque l’iPod/iPhone est inséré dans le dock, que l’appareil soit allumé ou éteint, la batterie de l’iPod se charge jusqu’à ce qu’elle soit pleine.

UTILISATION D’UN APPAREIL EXTERNE

Insérez une extrémité du câble audio (non compris) dans la sortie jack LINE OUT de votre composante audio externe et l’autre extrémité dans l’entrée jack LINE IN située à l’arrière de cet appareil.

Allumez cet appareil en appuyant sur la touche Power/REPROGRAMMATION DE L’ALARME 1. Appuyez plusieurs fois sur la touche SOURCE 2 pour sélectionner le mode AUX; apparaîtra alors à l’écran. Le son de l’appareil audio externe sortira par les hauts-parleurs de cet appareil.

REMARQUES :

• Consultez la page 8 pour savoir comment régler le volume.

• Pour éteindre cet appareil, appuyez sur la touche Power/ REPROGRAMMATION DE L’ALARME.

• Si vous souhaitez écouter l’iPod/iPhone dans le compartiment de l’iPod, appuyez plusieurs fois sur la touche SOURCE pour sélectionner le mode iPod/iPhone ; apparaîtra alors à l’écran.

Lorsque l’appareil est éteint et qu’AUCUN iPod/iPhone n’est placé sur le dock, maintenez la touche RÉGLER 1 jusqu’à ce que la le format 24 h ou 12 h commence à clignoter. Dans les dix secondes, appuyez sur la touche Syntoniser/ Sauter/Rechercher vers le Bas o 2 ou vers le Haut n 3 de l’appareil principal pour régler le format 24 heures (système des 24 heures) ou 12 heures (système standard américain).

Appuyez sur la touche REGLER

1 ; les minutes clignotent. Dans les dix secondes, appuyez sur la touche Syntoniser/Sauter/ Rechercher vers le bas o 2 ou vers le haut n 3 pour régler la minute en cours.

Appuyez sur la touche RÉGLER 1 ; l’année clignote. Dans les dix secondes, appuyez sur la touche Syntoniser/Sauter/Rechercher vers le bas o 2 ou vers le haut n 3 pour régler l’année en cours.

POUR RÉGLER OU REMETTRE À L’HEURE EXACTE

Suivez les instructions ci-dessous pour régler manuellement l’heure. Pour régler automatiquement l’heure avec l’iPod/iPhone, voir la page suivante.

Appuyez sur la touche RÉGLER 1 ; les heures clignotent. Dans les dix secondes, appuyez sur la touche Syntoniser/Sauter/ Rechercher vers le Bas o 2 ou vers le Haut n 3 de l’appareil principal pour régler l’heure actuelle. REMARQUE : Si le format d’afchage a été réglé sur 12 heures dans l’étape précédente, vériez les indications AM ou PM pour vous assurer d’avoir réglé l’heure correctement.

Appuyez sur la touche RÉGLER 1 ; le mois clignote. Dans les dix secondes, appuyez sur la touche Syntoniser/Sauter/Rechercher vers le bas o 2 ou vers le haut n3 pour régler le mois en cours.

Appuyez sur la touche RÉGLER (ou attendez environ 10 secondes), et l’heure et la date seront réglées.

Appuyez sur la touche RÉGLER

1 ; la date clignote. Dans les dix secondes, appuyez sur la touche Syntoniser/Sauter/Rechercher vers le bas o 2 ou vers le haut n 3 pour régler la date en cours. REMARQUE : Lorsque la date est réglée, le jour de la semaine approprié est également réglé automatiquement.

REMARQUE :

L’horloge est réinitialisée en cas de panne de courant.

Lorsque l’appareil est allumé, connectez un iPod/iPhone comme indiqué à la page 7. Maintenez enfoncée la touche RÉGLER pendant environ 10 secondes. L’heure et le jour de la semaine sont alors synchronisés.

POUR SYNCHRONISER

L’HEURE

REMARQUES :

• Lorsque vous branchez cet appareil pour la première fois, il synchronise automatiquement l’heure avec l’iPod/iPod. Vous devez connecter l’iPod/iPhone à l’appareil avant de brancher l’adaptateur secteur. Lorsque ce dernier est branché sur l’appareil et qu’il est en mode DÉSACTIVÉ, l’heure est synchronisée automatiquement entre l’iPod/iPhone et l’appareil.

• La fonction de synchronisation ne règle pas l’alarme.

• Si vous avez été en voyage, veillez à régler votre appareil iPhone ou iPod de façon à ce que l’heure affichée par l’appareil soit actualisée par rapport à votre fuseau horaire actuel. Nous vous recommandons d’éteindre, puis de rallumer votre iPhone ou iPod. Assurez-vous également d’éteindre et de rallumer l’appareil, puis de placer l’iPhone ou l’iPod dans le dock pour effectuer la synchronisation.

Appuyez sur la touche ALARME 1/2 1 une fois (pour régler l’alarme 1) ou DEUX FOIS (pour régler l’alarme 2). Après avoir sélectionné l’alarme souhaitée, appuyez sur la touche RÉGLER 2 ; les heures de l’alarme clignotent.

POUR RÉGLER OU REMETTRE L’ALARME À L’HEURE

Dans les dix secondes, appuyez sur la touche Syntoniser/Sauter/

Rechercher vers le bas o 1 ou vers le haut n 2 pour régler l’heure

de l’alarme. Si l’option 24/12 heures est réglée en mode 12 heures, veillez à observer les indications AM ou PM pour s’assurer d’avoir réglé l’heure correctement. Appuyez sur

la touche REGLER 3 ; les minutes clignotent.

Dans les dix secondes, appuyez sur la touche Syntoniser/Sauter/ Rechercher vers le bas o 1 ou vers le haut n 2 pour régler le volume maximal de l’alarme. Appuyez sur la touche RÉGLER 3 pour conrmer le réglage. L’alarme est alors réglée.

Dans les dix secondes, appuyez sur la touche Syntoniser/Sauter/ Rechercher vers le bas o 1 ou vers le haut n 2 pour régler la minute de l’alarme. Appuyez sur la touche RÉGLER 3 ; le jour clignote.

Dans les dix secondes, appuyez sur la touche Syntoniser/Sauter/ Rechercher vers le bas o 1 ou vers le haut n 2 pour régler l’option de la semaine (les 7 jours : LUN au DIM, jours de semaine uniquement : LUN au VEN ou n de semaine uniquement : SAM et DIM). Appuyez sur la touche RÉGLER 3 ; la source clignote.

FONCTIONNEMENT (SUITE)

REMARQUES :

• Lorsque l’heure de l’alarme est atteinte, l’icône correspondante clignote sur l’écran.

• Lorsque l’heure de l’alarme est atteinte, le niveau du volume de l’alarme est réglé sur le minimum et augmentera d’un niveau à la fois jusqu’à atteindre le niveau maximum du volume de l’alarme préréglé.

• Au moment où l’alarme retentit, si l’autre alarme atteint l’heure réglée, la première alarme s’arrête et la seconde commence à retentir.

• POUR COUPER L’ALARME, voir la section POUR COUPER L’ALARME à la page suivante.

Si elle est réglée sur l’iPod/ iPhone, sélectionnez la piste souhaitée, insérez l’iPod/iPhone comme indiqué à la page 6, puis éteignez-le. À l’heure de l’alarme, l’appareil démarre la lecture de la piste que vous avez sélectionnée et des pistes suivantes dans la liste d’écoute. L’appareil joue pendant 60 minutes et s’éteint automatiquement ou, si la liste d’écoute restante dure moins de 60 minutes, l’appareil joue seulement le temps restant de la liste d’écoute, puis s’arrête.

Si l’appareil est réglé en mode Radio (dans l’Etape 5), sélectionnez la station de votre choix comme indiqué à la page 9 et éteignez l’appareil en appuyant sur la touche Power avant de régler l’alarme. REMARQUE : À l’heure de l’alarme, l’appareil va automatiquement allumer la radio sur la fréquence que vous avez choisie et jouer pendant 60 minutes avant de désactiver l’alarme.

FONCTIONNEMENT (SUITE)

Appuyez sur la touche Power/ REPROGRAMMATION DE L’ALARME 1 pour couper l’alarme ; cette dernière va alors se régler pour le jour suivant.

POUR COUPER L’ALARME

Lorsque l’appareil est éteint, appuyez une fois sur la touche ALARME 1/2 pour activer l’alarme 1 ; apparaît alors à l’écran. Appuyez sur la touche ALARME 1/2 une seconde fois pour activer l’alarme 2 ; apparaît alors à l’écran . Appuyez sur la touche ALARME 1/2 une troisième fois pour activer les deux alarmes ; apparaît alors à l’écran. Appuyez une fois de plus pour annuler les alarmes et éteindre les deux indicateurs.

POUR ACTIVER OU DÉSACTIVER UNE ALARME

Lorsque l’alarme sonne, appuyez sur la touche RAPPEL D’ALARME/ GRADATEUR ; le voyant Rappel d’alarme clignote alors sur l’écran. L’alarme s’activera de nouveau automatiquement dix minutes plus tard.

RAPPEL D’ALARME

La durée du RAPPEL D’ALARME est réglée à 10 minutes d’intervalle. La fonction RAPPEL D’ALARME reste active pendant une heure au total par cycle d’alarme.

REMARQUE :

Pour annuler la fonction RAPPEL D’ALARME (l’alarme n’est pas réactivée), appuyez sur la touche Power/REPROGRAMMATION DE L’ALARME (l’indicateur RAPPEL D’ALARME n’apparaît plus à l’écran).

FONCTIONNEMENT (SUITE)

Lorsque l’appareil est allumé et que l’alarme ne retentit pas, appuyez sur la touche RAPPEL D’ALARME/GRADATEUR 1 ; l’indicateur Rappel d’alarme et la mention « OFF » (désactivé) apparaissent alors à l’écran. Appuyez plusieurs fois sur la touche Syntoniser/Sauter/ Rechercher vers le bas o 2 ou vers le haut n 3 pour sélectionner la durée de veille souhaitée (10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60 ou 90 minutes). Après dix secondes, le mode veille disparaît de l’afcheur. Pour afcher le temps de veille restant, appuyez une fois sur la touche SOMMEIL/GRADATEUR. INSERCIÓN DE UN iPod/iPhone

El iPod/iPhone se cargará siempre que la unidad esté conectada con el adaptador de CA.

Consulte la página siguiente para ver instrucciones sobre cómo utilizar un iPod o un iPhone con esta unidad.

Deslice el iPod/iPhone (A) para introducirlo en el compartimiento del iPod/iPhone (B) (como se muestra en la figura). Empuje levemente hacia abajo de modo que el conector del iPod/iPhone encaje en el conector de la unidad.

NOTAS:

• Cuando el iPod/iPhone se conecte a esta unidad, estará en el modo Pausa.

• CARGA: Cuando inserte el iPod/iPhone en la base, ya sea que esta unidad esté encendida o apagada, la batería del iPod/iPhone se cargará por completo.

RESTABLECER ALARMA 1.

Presione el botón FUENTE 2 varias veces para seleccionar el modo iPod/iPhone; aparecerá en la pantalla.

Puede hacer funcionar el iPod/ iPhone utilizando sus propios controles, como lo indica el manual del usuario, o puede utilizar los controles de esta unidad.

USO DE UN iPod/iPhone CON ESTA UNIDAD

Para reproducir o pausar el iPod/ iPhone: Presione el botón Reproducir/ Pausa (®p)/RECORDAR ESTACIÓN del iPod/iPhone. Vuelva a presionarlo para pausar la reproducción y presiónelo una vez más para reanudar la reproducción.

Para saltar hacia delante o atrás en el iPod/iPhone: Presione el botón SINTONIZAR/Saltar/Buscar hacia

USO DE LA RADIO FM

Encienda esta unidad presionando el botón Encendido/ RESTABLECER

ALARMA.

Presione varias veces el botón FUENTE para seleccionar el modo Radio FM;

aparecerá

en la pantalla.

Presione varias veces el botón SINTONIZAR/Saltar/Buscar hacia

abajo o 1 o Buscar hacia arriba n 2 para cambiar la frecuencia

manualmente en la pantalla hacia arriba o abajo hasta que aparezca la frecuencia deseada. Si opta por la sintonización automática, presione y sostenga el botón SINTONIZAR/Saltar/

Buscar hacia abajo o 1 o Buscar hacia arriba n 2 hasta que la

frecuencia en pantalla comience a avanzar o retroceder, luego suelte el botón. El sintonizador buscará estaciones y se detendrá en la primera estación que encuentre. Repita este paso hasta que aparezca la frecuencia deseada en la pantalla.

• Consulte la página anterior para

ver cómo ajustar el volumen.

• Cuando desee apagar

esta unidad, vuelva a presionar el botón Encendido/

Antena FM: Desenrolle y extienda la antena de cable FM para mejorar la recepción.

Siga los pasos 1 a 3 de la página anterior para sintonizar una estación. Presione y sostenga el botón Reproducir/Pausa (®p) / RECORDAR ESTACIÓN; el número de estación preestablecida parpadeará en la pantalla.

Mientras parpadee el número de estación preestablecida, presione el botón de AUMENTO del volumen

(+) 1 o de disminución del volumen (–) 2 p ara seleccionar un a

estación preestablecida deseada (P1-P6). Vuelva a presionar el

botón Reproducir/Pausa (®p) / RECORDAR ESTACIÓN 3 para

confirmar; la estación se guardará en la mem oria. Repi ta para programar hasta seis estaciones preestablecidas, según lo desee.

CONFIGURACIÓN DE LOS SEIS AJUSTES PREESTABLECIDOS DE RADIO

Siga los pasos 1 y 2 de la página anterior para encender la unidad e ingrese al modo Radio FM. Presione y suelte el botón Reproducir/Pausa (®p)/ RECORDAR ESTACIÓN; el número de estación preestablecida parpadeará en la pantalla.

RECUPERACIÓN DE LAS SEIS ESTACIONES PREESTABLECIDAS DE RADIO

USO DE UNA UNIDAD EXTERNA

Inserte un extremo del cable de audio (que no se incluye) en el enchufe LINE OUT (SALIDA DE LÍNEA) del equipo de audio externo y el otro extremo en el enchufe LINE IN (ENTRADA DE LÍNEA) de la parte trasera de esta unidad.

Encienda esta unidad presionando el botón Encendido/

RESTABLECER ALARMA 1.

Presione el botón FUENTE 2 varias veces para seleccionar el modo AUX;

aparecerá en la pantalla. El sonido de salida de la unidad externa de audio se escuchará a través de los parlantes de esta unidad.

NOTAS:

• Consulte la página 8 para ver cómo ajustar el volumen.

• Cuando desee apagar esta unidad, vuelva a presionar el botón Encendido/RESTABLECER ALARMA.

• Si desea escuchar el iPod/iPhone en el compartimiento del iPod, presione el botón FUENTE varias veces para seleccionar el modo iPod/iPhone;

aparecerá en la pantalla.

FUNCIONAMIENTO (CONTINUACIÓN)

Con la unidad apagada y SIN NINGÚN iPod o iPhone acoplado, presione y sostenga el botón ESTABLECER 1 hasta que comience a parpadear 24h o 12h. En un lapso de diez segundos, presione el botón SINTONIZAR/ Saltar/Buscar hacia abajo o 2 o Buscar hacia arriba n 3 en la unidad principal para ajustar en 24 horas (hora militar) o 12 horas (hora estándar de EE. UU.).

Presione el botón ESTABLECER

1; los minutos parpadearán. En un lapso de diez segundos, presione el botón SINTONIZAR/ Saltar/Buscar hacia abajo o 2 o Buscar hacia arriba n 3 para establecer el minuto actual.

Presione el botón ESTABLECER 1; parpadeará el año. En un lapso de diez segundos, presione el botón SINTONIZAR/Saltar/ Buscar hacia abajo o 2 o Buscar hacia arriba n 3 para establecer el año actual.

PARA AJUSTAR O VOLVER A AJUSTAR LA HORA REAL

Siga las instrucciones que están a continuación para ajustar la hora manualmente. Para ajustar automáticamente la hora con el iPod/iPhone, consulte la página siguiente.

Presione el botón ESTABLECER 1; las horas parpadearán. En un lapso de diez segundos, presione el botón SINTONIZAR/Saltar/ Buscar hacia

abajo o 2 o Buscar hacia arriba

n 3 en la unidad principal para

establecer la hora actual. NOTA: Si ajustó la hora en 12 horas en el paso anterior, asegúrese de observar los indicadores AM o PM para comprobar si estableció la hora correctamente.

CONTINÚA EN LA PÁGINA SIGUIENTE

Presione el botón ESTABLECER 1; parpadeará el mes. En un lapso de diez segundos, presione el botón SINTONIZAR/Saltar/ Buscar hacia abajo o 2 o Buscar hacia arriba n 3 para establecer el mes actual.

Presione el botón ESTABLECER (o espere aproximadamente diez segundos) y se establecerán la hora y la fecha.

Presione el botón ESTABLECER

1; parpadeará la fecha. En un lapso de diez segundos, presione el botón SINTONIZAR/Saltar/ Buscar hacia abajo o 2 o Buscar hacia arriba n 3 para establecer la fecha actual. NOTA: Cuando se establezca la fecha, el día de la semana correcto se establecerá automáticamente.

NOTA:

En caso de falla eléctrica, el reloj volverá a cero.

FUNCIONAMIENTO (CONTINUACIÓN)

Con la unidad encendida, conecte un iPod/iPhone tal como se indica en la página 7. Presione y sostenga el botón ESTABLECER durante aproximadamente 10 segundos. Se sincronizarán la hora y el día de la semana.

PARA SINCRONIZAR LA HORA

NOTAS:

• Esta unidad puede sincronizar automáticamente la hora con el iPod/iPhone en primera instancia. El iPod/iPhone ya deberá estar acoplado a la unidad antes de enchufar el adaptador de CA. Cuando se conecte el adaptador de CA a la unidad en modo APAGADO, la hora se sincronizará automáticamente desde el iPod/iPhone hacia la unidad.

• La función de sincronización no establecerá la

alarma.

• Si viajó recientemente, asegúrese de volver a ajustar el dispositivo iPhone o iPod de manera que el reloj del sistema esté actualizado con la zona horaria actual. Se recomienda encender y apagar el dispositivo iPhone o iPod. Asegúrese también de apagar y encender la unidad y, luego, coloque el dispositivo iPhone o iPod en la base para sincronizar.

Presione el botón ALARMA 1/2 1 una vez (para establecer la alarma 1) o DOS VECES (para establecer la alarma 2). Después de haber seleccionado la alarma deseada, presione el botón ESTABLECER 2; parpadearán las horas de la alarma.

PARA AJUSTAR O VOLVER A AJUSTAR LA HORA DE LA ALARMA

En un lapso de diez segundos, presione el botón SINTONIZAR/

Saltar/Buscar hacia abajo o 1 o Buscar hacia arriba n 2 para

establecer la hora de la alarma. Si la opción de hora 24/12 está establecida en modo de 12 horas, asegúrese de observar los indicadores AM o PM para comprobar si estableció la hora correctamente. Presione el

botón ESTABLECER 3; los minutos parpadearán.

En un lapso de diez segundos, presione el botón SINTONIZAR/ Saltar/Buscar hacia abajo o 1 o Buscar hacia arriban 2 para establecer la fuente (iPod/iPhone, Radio FM o Alarma). Presione el botón ESTABLECER 3; parpadeará el nivel de volumen.

En un lapso de diez segundos, presione el botón SINTONIZAR/ Saltar/Buscar hacia abajo o 1 o Buscar hacia arriba n 2 para establecer el volumen máximo de la alarma. Presione el botón ESTABLECER 3 para conrmar el ajuste. Se establecerá la alarma.

CONTINÚA EN LA PÁGINA SIGUIENTE

En un lapso de diez segundos, presione el botón SINTONIZAR/ Saltar/Buscar hacia abajo o 1 o Buscar hacia arriba n 2 para establecer el minuto de la alarma. Presione el botón ESTABLECER 3; parpadeará el día.

En un lapso de diez segundos, presione el botón SINTONIZAR/ Saltar/Buscar hacia abajo o 1 o Buscar hacia arriba n 2 para establecer la opción semanal (los 7 días: LUN-DOM, sólo los días de la semana: LUN-VIE, o sólo los nes de semana: SÁB-DOM). Presione el botón ESTABLECER 3; parpadeará la fuente.

FUNCIONAMIENTO (CONTINUACIÓN)

NOTAS:

• Cuando se alcance la hora de la alarma, el icono de alarma parpadeará en la pantalla.

• Cuando se alcance la hora de la alarma, el nivel de volumen de la alarma se establecerá en el mínimo y aumentará continuamente en un nivel hasta que se alcance el nivel máximo de volumen de la alarma.

• Cuando esté sonando la alarma, si la otra alarma alcanza la hora de la alarma, la primera se detendrá y comenzará la segunda.

• PARA APAGAR LA ALARMA, consulte la sección PARA APAGAR LA ALARMA de la página siguiente.

Si la configuró en iPod/iPhone, seleccione la pista que desee, inserte el iPod/iPhone tal como se indica en la página 6 y apáguelo. Cuando se alcance la hora de la alarma, la unidad comenzará la reproducción de la pista seleccionada y de las pistas que le siguen en la lista de reproducción. La unidad reproducirá música durante 60 minutos y se apagará automáticamente o, si el resto de la lista de reproducción tiene menos de 60 minutos, la unidad sólo reproducirá el tiempo restante de lista de reproducción y se detendrá.

Si la configuró en Radio (en el Paso 5), seleccione la estación que desee tal como se indica en la página 9 y apague la unidad presionando el botón Encendido antes de ajustar la alarma. NOTA: Cuando se alcance la hora de la alarma, la unidad encenderá la radio automáticamente en la frecuencia seleccionada y la reproducirá durante 60 minutos, luego de lo cual se apagará.

FUNCIONAMIENTO (CONTINUACIÓN)

Presione el botón Encendido/ RESTABLECER ALARMA para apagar la alarma; la alarma quedará establecida para el día siguiente.

PARA APAGAR LA ALARMA

Con la unidad apagada, presione el botón ALARMA 1/2 una vez para activar la alarma 1; aparecerá en la pantalla. Vuelva a presionar el botón ALARMA 1/2 una vez para activar la alarma 2; aparecerá en la pantalla. Presione el botón ALARMA 1/2 por tercera vez para activar ambas alarmas; aparecerá en la pantalla. Presione una última vez el mismo botón para cancelar las alarmas; ambos indicadores se apagarán.

PARA ACTIVAR Y/O DESACTIVAR UNA ALARMA

Mientras suena la alarma, presione el botón TEMPORIZADOR/ ATENUADOR; el indicador del temporizador aparecerá en la pantalla. La alarma se volverá a encender automáticamente diez minutos después.

TEMPORIZADOR

La duración del ciclo del temporizador está congurada en intervalos de 10 minutos. La función TEMPORIZADOR permanecerá activa durante un total de una hora por ciclo de alarma.

NOTA:

Para cancelar la función TEMPORIZADOR (la alarma no volverá a activarse), presione el botón Encendido/RESTABLECER ALARMA (el indicador del temporizador desaparecerá de la pantalla).

Con la unidad encendida pero sin que esté sonando la alarma, presione el botón TEMPORIZADOR/ATENUADOR 1; el indicador del temporizador y “OFF” (“APAGADO”) aparecerán en la pantalla. Presione varias veces el botón SINTONIZAR/ Saltar/Buscar hacia abajo o 2 o Buscar hacia arriba n 3 para seleccionar el tiempo deseado para el apagado automático (10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60 ó 90 minutos). Después de diez segundos, el tiempo de apagado automático desaparecerá de la pantalla. Presione el botón TEMPORIZADOR/ ATENUADOR una vez para ver el tiempo de apagado automático restante. NOTA: Si desea cancelar la función de apagado automático, presione el botón Encendido/ RESTABLECER ALARMA para apagar la unidad.

Con la unidad apagada, presione varias veces el botón TEMPORIZADOR/ATENUADOR para disminuir el brillo de la pantalla al nivel deseado. Puede elegir cinco niveles de brillo.
