The device is suitable only for use in an indoor
environment. The device is intended only for use in
a private domestic environment and not for commercial use.

This device is not a toy. It does not belong in the
hands of children. Children do not appreciate
the dangers associated with the device.
This appliance can be used by children aged

have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and
understand the hazards involved. Children shall
not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children
without supervision.
Do not pull on the light set lead. Always ensure
that it does not present a trip hazard.
Never use the light set if you discover that it is
damaged in any way.
This light set’s external flexible tube is non-
replaceable. Hence if it becomes damaged
you must dispose of the entire light set.
Never open any of the electrical fittings or allow
any object to be inserted into them.
This light set is suitable only for use
indoors, in dry and enclosed rooms.

Dangers arising from
the use of batteries
RISK OF LOSS OF LIFE! Bat-
teries are not intended to be in the hands of children.
Do not leave batteries lying around. They could be
swallowed by children or pets. In the event of swallowing a battery, contact a doctor immediately!
RISK OF EXPLOSION! Never
recharge single-use batteries. Do not
short-circuit or open them. Overheat-
ing, fire or destruction of the batteries might
result. Never throw batteries into fire or water.
The batteries might explode.
Avoid extreme environmental conditions and
temperatures as they may affect batteries e.g.
above radiators. Otherwise the batteries are
more likely to leak.
Exhausted or damaged batteries can
cause caustic burns upon contact
with the skin. To avoid this, always
wear suitable protective gloves in these circumstances!
Avoid contact with the skin, eyes and mucous
membranes if fluid is leaking from a battery. If
you come into contact with corrosive battery
fluids, flush the affected area thoroughly with
clean water and contact a doctor immediately.
Before inserting the batteries, clean the battery
contacts and the contacts of the battery compartment using a dry, fluff-free cloth.
Make sure you insert the batteries the right
way round (polarity). The correct polarity is
shown inside the battery compartment.
Remove exhausted batteries from the device
immediately. Otherwise the batteries are more
likely to leak.
Batteries do not belong in household refuse!
Every consumer is obliged to dispose of batteries
properly in accordance with the regulations.
Keep batteries away from children. Do not
throw batteries into a fire. Never short-circuit
them or take them apart.
If you disregard these instructions and advice,
the batteries may discharge beyond their minimum voltage, thus increasing the chance of
leakage. If your batteries leak, remove them
from the device immediately to prevent it from
being damaged.
Always replace all the batteries at once with
batteries of the same type.
Remove the batteries if you are not going to
use the device for an extended period.
The cord of this light set cannot be replaced. If
the cord is damaged the light set should be
scrapped.
The light chain must not be electrically connected
to another light chain.

Press the ON / OFF switch 4 to switch on the
LED-illuminated decoration

Replacing the batteries
To replace the batteries follow the procedure
described in the figure.
Cleaning and care
Do not use solvents, such as petrol and the like,
as they could damage the device.
Clean the uneven surface with a feather duster
or narrow brush.
Disposal
The packaging is wholly composed of
environmentally friendly materials that can
be disposed of at a local recycling centre.
Contact your local refuse disposal authority for
more details of how to dispose of your worn-out
product.

In the interest of the environment, do not
throw out your product with your household refuse. Take it to a suitable centre
where it can be disposed of properly.
Your local council will be able to tell you
where the collection centres are located
and their opening times.
Defective or exhausted batteries must be recycled
in accordance with Directive 2006 / 66 / EC. Return
the batteries and / or the device through the appropriate collection facilities.

Batteries must not be disposed of with the household refuse. They may contain toxic heavy metals
and require to be handled as special waste. The
chemical symbols of heavy metals are: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead. For this reason,
you must dispose of discarded batteries at a communal disposal centre.
Warranty
The warranty applies to faults in material or manufacture. This warranty does not cover product parts
subject to normal wear, thus possibly considered consumables (e.g. batteries) or for damage to fragile
parts,
e.g. switches, rechargeable batteries or glass parts.
The device has been manufactured to strict quality
guidelines and meticulously examined before delivery. In the event of product defects you have legal
rights against the retailer of this product. Your legal
rights are not limited in any way by our warranty
detailed below.
The warranty for this device is 3 years from the date
of purchase. Should this device show any fault in
materials or manufacture within 3 years from the
of purchase, we will repair or replace it – at our
date
choice
– free of charge to you.
The warranty period begins on the date of pur
chase.
Please keep the original sales receipt in a safe location.
This document is required as your proof of purchase.
This warranty becomes void if the device has been
damaged or improperly used or maintained.

Niebezpieczeństwa dotyczące
obchodzenia się bateriami
NIEBEZPIECZEŃSTWO
UTRATY ŻYCIA! Baterie nie powinny dostać się
w ręce dzieci. Baterie nie powinny być przechowywane w łatwo dostępnych miejscach. Istnieje niebezpieczeństwo, że zostaną połknięte przez dzieci
lub zwierzęta domowe. W przypadku połknięcia
należy natychmiast udać się do lekarza.
NIEBEZPIECZEŃSTWO WYBU-
CHU! Nigdy nie należy baterii po-
nownie naładowywać, zwierać lub
otwierać. Może to doprowadzić do przegrzania, pożaru lub wybuchu. Nigdy nie należy
wrzucać baterii do ognia lub wody. Baterie
mogą eksplodować.
Należy unikać ekstremalnych warunków i tem-
peratur, które mogą oddziaływać na baterie,
np. kaloryferów. W przeciwnym razie istnieje
zwiększone niebezpieczeństwo wycieku.
Baterie po wycieku lub uszkodzone
po dotknięciu skóry mogą spowodo-
wać poparzenie chemiczne. Dlatego
należy w takim przypadku należy koniecznie
nakładać odpowiednie rękawice ochronne!
W przypadku wystąpienia cieczy z baterii,
należy unikać kontaktu ze skórą, oczami oraz
błonami śluzowymi. W razie kontaktu z elektrolitem przemyć dane miejsce dużą ilością wody
i / lub zasięgnąć porady lekarza.
Przed włożeniem należy oczyścić styki baterii i
urządzenia suchą, niemechacącą się szmatką.
Podczas wkładania baterii do urządzenia na-
leży zwrócić uwagę na prawidłowe ułożenie
biegunów! Jest ono pokazane w komorze na
baterie.
Zużyte baterie należy niezwłocznie wyjąć z
urządzenia. W przeciwnym razie zwiększa się
ryzyko wycieku elektrolitu!
Baterie nie należą do grupy odpadów pocho-
dzących z gospodarstw domowych!
Każdy użytkownik jest ustawowo zobowiązany
do prawidłowego usuwania baterii do odpadów!
Baterie należy przechowywać w miejscu nie-
dostępnym dla dzieci, nie należy wrzucać ich
do ognia, rozbierać na części lub powodować
zwarcia.
W przypadku nieprzestrzegania wskazówek
baterie mogą zostać rozładowane poza ich
napięcie końcowe. Istnieje wówczas niebezpieczeństwo wycieku. Jeżeli z baterii znajdującej
się w urządzeniu zaczął wyciekać elektrolit,
natychmiast ją wyjąć, aby uniknąć uszkodzenia
urządzenia!
Należy zawsze wymieniać wszystkie baterie w
tym samym czasie i używać jedynie baterii
tego samego typu.
W przypadku dłuższej przerwy w użytkowaniu
wyjąć baterie z urządzenia.
Nie można wymieniać kabla łańcucha świetl-
nego. Wrazie uszkodzenia kabla należy
zaprzestać użytkowania łańcucha świetlnego.
Łańcuch świetlny nie powinien być łączony
elekrycznie z innym łańcuchem.
