Congratulations! You have just purchased Megatech’s Hopper-Fly the most stable,
ready-to-fl y helicopter ever offered—period! The precision synchronization of its
CBR-Drive™ (Contra Balanced Rotational Drive), keeps the twin rotors rotating
in exact harmony. Accordingly, the Hopper-Fly performs rock-steady hovering

characteristics is centrifugal stabilization offered by the weighted fl y-bar; a feature
normally found on more expensive model helicopters.
Important! Before you begin, please read all safety precautions and warnings.
Failure to comply with any of the following could lead to bodily harm or injury.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
TRANSMITTER SAFETY
This device complies with part 15 of FCC rules.
Operation subject to the following two conditions:
(1)This device may not cause harmful interference and
(2)This device must accept any interference received,
Including interference that may cause undesired operation.
• Before you begin to fl y, look at the frequency sticker on the back of your transmitter and make
sure no one in the area is on the same frequency. Do not fl y airplane if other radio control
devices are being operated on the same frequency.
• Since your model is controlled by a radio link it is very important to always keep a fresh alkaline
battery in the transmitter.
SAFETY GUIDELINES
• You alone are responsible for operating your model in a safe manner. When fl ying, you are
responsible for your own safety and the safety of others around you. Follow these basic safety
guidelines at all times.
• The spinning rotor blades on this aircraft can be very dangerous! When operating/fl ying, always
be aware of the spinning rotors. Do NOT let them come close to your body, other people and
loose objects such as clothing or jewelry.
• Always fl y your helicopter in a wide-open area, at least the size of a soccer fi eld. Make sure that the area
is free from obstructions such as buildings, electric power lines, trees, roads, other people and vehicles.
Do not fl y around people who are unaware that you are fl ying a model helicopter, and never fl y over
people’s heads.
• Fly ONLY on calm days. Gusty winds and wind over 7MPH will make it diffi cult (if not impossible) to control
your helicopter properly.
• Do not attempt to disassemble any of the model’s components or allow them to get wet.
Electrical damage may occur.
• Never fl y your model from roadways or after dark.
• Keep spectators behind you when fl ying.
• Never use solvents or liquid cleaners to clean this model. Doing so may damage the unit or electronics.
Only use a dry, soft cloth for cleaning.
• Do NOT hold the Hopper-fl y when launching. A sudden wind shift could send the helicopter in your
direction, possibly resulting in injury.
RECHARGEABLE BATTERY WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS
• ALLOW HOPPER-FLY TO COOL FOR 10-15 AFTER EACH FLIGHT BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO
RECHARGE
• Use only the included charger or one that is approved for use with this product
• Never leave helicopter unattended while charging.
• Always remove batteries from your charger when you fi nished fl ying for the day. Do not store batteries
inside the charger or transmitter

CHARGING YOUR HOPPER-FLY
Your Hopper-Fly features built-in Megatech extended run time high performance
rechargeable NiMh (Nickel-Metal Hydride) battery that must be charged before each fl ight

performance the more you use them. The base is equipped with an automatic timer charger.
It will automatically shut off when the battery is charged. The approximate charge time is 4-6
minutes. NOTE: Never charge for more than 10 minutes or leave unattended while charging.

gets carried too far away in the breeze.
