Headset Use: Volume Control
The MEElectronics volume control is a universal volume control that will work with any device, and volume setting on your remote will supersede device volume. If you are not hearing any sound, please check the volume control position.
Volume is maximum when the switch is closest to the + on the remote.
Headset Use: Taking Phone Calls
The microphone is directional and needs to be near your mouth to operate properly. If your voice is not transmitted loudly and clearly, adjust the location of the microphone so it is in front of your mouth. At times, poor voice clarity can be a result of poor call connection quality, in which case you should hang up and retry your call.

Troubleshooting Continued
Problem
During phone calls the person on the other end can’t hear me
The remote button doesn’t work
Solution
Make sure the microphone/remote unit on the cable is closest to the headphones and the microphone is close to your mouth
Check the compatibility of your phone at meelec.com/phone
Try unplugging the headset cable and plugging it back in to your phone
If you are using a computer, you may need an adapter (Skype adapter on meelec.com) to separate the microphone and audio signals
Make sure the microphone/remote unit on the cable is closest to the headphones and L-shaped end is plugged into the phone
Check the audio jack of your device for lint and debris and wipe the plug of the headphone cable firmly with a cloth or paper towel to remove any dirt or oil
Check the compatibility of your device at meelec.com/phone; if the sound improves when you press the remote button, the device requires an adapter
