CareLink Programmer and 29901 CareLink Encore Programmer
The following table lists certain conditions that may occur during use of the software and the resolution of these
conditions.
Condition Observed Behavior Suggested Corrective Action
When Atrial Sensitivity is disabled in a
dual chamber device, it is still possible to
do an Atrium 50 HZ Burst EP Study test
but the device will not detect the atrial
arrhythmia.

Caution: Federal law (USA) restricts this device to sale by or on the order of a physician.
An atrial sensed event will not appear
on the Live Rhythm Monitor screen. If
an atrial lead is present, running the test
would introduce an atrial arrhythmia that
is not being detected and reported.
Determine whether a pin plug or atrial
lead is being used by checking the
Patient Information screen or running
Lead Impedance Test. If a pin plug is
being used, the patient is unaffected
and no further action is needed. If
an atrial lead is present, determine if
Atrial Sensitivity should continue to be
disabled. If not, program Atrial Sensitivity
to a value other than Off to run the 50 HZ
Burst test.
