INSTRUCTIONS FOR GUIDE HANDLE, P/N EX0711424

Refer to the section entitled “Reprocessing – General Considerations” in the Medtronic Reusable
Instruments Instructions for Use prior to reprocessing this instrument. After the instrument is
disassembled, continue with step 3 in the section entitled “Manual Cleaning Instructions-Cleaning
Instructions-Dedicated Cleaning Area”.

NOTE: Reassemble the instrument prior to sterilization.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

1. Align handle and sleeve.

2. Insert distal tip of handle at knurled end of the sleeve.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

1. Align handle and sleeve.

2. Insert distal tip of handle at knurled end of the sleeve.

3. Advance sleeve up and thread clockwise onto the handle.

DISASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

1. Turn sleeve counter-clockwise to unthread sleeve from the
handle.

2. Advance sleeve down shaft of handle.

3. Remove sleeve from handle.
