IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
FOR FIXED ANGLE SCREW DRIVERS
DISASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Refer to the package insert that accompanies the instrument for important information including reprocessing and sterilization
instructions.
NOTE: Disassembly is not required to adequately clean and sterilize these drivers when using the reprocessing and sterilization
instructions found in the device package insert. If disassembly is desired, use the following instructions. For lock-sleeve drivers, start
with Step 1. For standard drivers, skip to Step 2.
1. Press the silver button on the blue lock and slide it away from the working end of the instrument to remove it (Lock-sleeve drivers
only).
2. While holding the outer shaft and working end tip of the instrument, turn the square nut counterclockwise to loosen and remove
from the assembly.
3. While holding the outer shaft and working end tip of the instrument, pull the handle drive shaft to separate the assembly. Remove
the inner shaft by pulling the working end tip.
4. To assemble the instrument, reverse the order of the disassembly steps.
NOTE: During the assembly process, the square portion of the handle shaft must align with the square internal portion of the drive
shaft. Also, be sure the square nut is firmly tightened to reduce instrument toggle.
