IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY FOR THE NAVIGATED
ELEVATE™ SPINAL SYSTEM INSERTER

Refer to the Medtronic Reusable Instruments Instructions for Use provided with the instruments for important information
including reprocessing and sterilization instructions. Disassembly is required prior to reprocessing the instrument.

ASSEMBLY

1. Insert the inner locking tube (P/N NAV2133) into the outer shaft (P/N NAV2132) and turn inner locking tube clockwise

(Figure 1).

2. Insert the inserter drive shaft into the inserter assembly (P/N NAV2132 & NAV2133). Refer to Figure 2.

DISASSEMBLY

1. Pull the inserter drive shaft (P/N NAV2134) from the inserter assembly (P/N NAV2132 & NAV2133). Refer to Figure 3.

2. Turn the inserter inner locking tube (P/N NAV2133) counterclockwise and remove the inner shaft from the inserter (P/N

NAV2132). Refer to Figure 4.
