The following table lists certain conditions that may occur during use of the Model 9953
Software Version 7.0. The table also provides the Resolution for these conditions.
Condition Observed Behavior Suggested Corrective Action
When programmed to a dual
chamber mode with Auto PVARP
On, select a single chamber atrial
mode (Note: ARP value is set
pending to a default value of 400
ms).
Select a new parameter value for
ARP.
When Rate Drop Response is
programmed to On (only valid for
DDD and DDI mode), perform
Emergency programming.

The pending ARP value remains
400 ms, even if another ARP
value is selected.
After Emergency programming
has gone into effect, interlock
symbols will appear on the
screen with a non-pertinent
parameter.
Program Mode, which also
programs the ARP to the default
value.
Select a new ARP value and
perform another programming.
Select interrogate button to
reinterrogate the device and
refresh the display.
