Description/intended use
The Medtronic Model 6719 pin-plug kit contains two
(2) silicone pin plugs for use with a Medtronic device.
The pin plug is intended for use only in the unused
DF-11 port of the device (see Figure 1 for an example
of using the D-style connector).
Package contents
Dispose of all single-use accessories according to
local environmental requirements.
Each package contains the following items:

Contraindications
To date, there are no known contraindications to the
use of the 6719 pin-plug kit.
Warnings and precautions
Note: Medical procedure warnings and precautions
that pertain to the Medtronic implanted system are
provided in the manual that is packaged with the
device or on the Medtronic Manual Library website
(www.Medtronic.com/manuals).
External defibrillation equipment – Keep external
defibrillation equipment nearby for immediate use
during the implant procedure and whenever
arrhythmias are possible or intentionally induced.

Product compatibility – This accessory has not
been tested for use with non-Medtronic products.
Inspecting the sterile package – Inspect the sterile
package with care before opening it.
•Contact a Medtronic representative if the seal or
package is damaged.
•Do not use the product after its expiration date.
Handling the pin plugs - – Connector port pin plugs
attract small particles such as dust and lint; therefore,
protect the pin plugs from materials shedding these
substances.
Sterilization – Medtronic has sterilized the package
contents with ethylene oxide before shipment. This
device is for single use only and is not intended to be
resterilized.
Instructions for use
To insert the pin plug into a device, follow these steps:
1. Insert the white handled torque wrench
(provided with the device) into the appropriate
setscrew.
2. Insert the pin plug into the appropriate port so
that the pin extends beyond the setscrews in the
connector block.

3. Tighten the setscrew by turning the torque
wrench clockwise until it clicks one or more
times.
Caution: Do not use the pin plug in the HVB port
of the device.
