Instructions for use

The external neurostimulator boot is a nonsterile, single-use
accessory used to secure the Model 97725 Wireless External
Neurostimulator to patient's skin with an adhesive pad during
trial stimulation.

Inserting the wireless external neurostimulator
into the boot

Prior to attaching the external neurostimulator boot to the
patient's skin, refer to the external neurostimulator user manual
to prepare the external neurostimulator for trial stimulation.

Note: The boot adhesive may cause itchiness or discomfort. If
the adhesive on the boot causes discomfort, replace the
external neurostimulator boot and apply it in a different location
on the patient's skin.

1. Insert the external neurostimulator into the boot opening at
an angle, while holding the boot with the other hand
(Figure 1).

Caution: Be extremely careful when inserting the
wireless external neurostimulator into the boot. Avoid
excessive traction, and do not kink, bend, stretch, or
twist the lead body. Lead dislodgement or damage
may occur, which would require surgical replacement.

Note: Ensure that the ENS button on the external
neurostimulator is facing away from the patient.

8. Refer to the external neurostimulator user manual for trial
preparation instructions after attaching the boot to the
patient's skin.

Removing the wireless external neurostimulator
from the boot

Prior to external neurostimulator removal, refer to the
appropriate procedure in the external neurostimulator user
manual:

to change the external neurostimulator batteries while

the patient is undergoing trial stimulation, or
at the end of the trial stimulation.

▪

Caution: Be extremely careful when removing the
wireless external neurostimulator from the boot. Avoid
excessive traction, and do not kink, bend, stretch, or twist
the lead body. Lead dislodgement or damage may occur,
which would require surgical replacement.

1. Spread open the side air vents on the boot while pushing
the external neurostimulator forward with the thumbs
(Figure 3).

2. Continue inserting the external neurostimulator into the

boot at an angle until it fills the opening, then straighten
the external neurostimulator.

3. Fully insert the external neurostimulator into the boot,
while holding the boot with the other hand (Figure 2).

4. Ensure that the external neurostimulator is fully inserted in

the boot and the boot does not interfere with the leads or
the ENS button.

5. Clean the patient's skin at the location where the external
neurostimulator boot is to be placed.

6. Peel the adhesive backing off the adhesive pad.

7. Apply the external neurostimulator boot to the patient's

skin, pressing firmly to ensure complete contact and
adhesion.

Note: The boot adhesive may last up to 7 days. If the
adhesive on the boot is causing discomfort, replace the

opening.

2. Remove the external neurostimulator with one hand, while
maintaining boot position on the patient's skin (Figure 4).

4. Dispose of the external neurostimulator boot according to

local requirements.
Note: Do not reuse the external neurostimulator boot after

it has been removed from the patient's skin. Use a new

Mode d'emploi

Le boîtier pour neurostimulateur externe est un accessoire non
stérile à usage unique servant à fixer, à l'aide d'un coussinet
adhésif, le neurostimulateur externe sans fil Modèle 97725 sur
la peau du patient durant une stimulation test.

Die Schutzkappe für den externen Neurostimulator ist ein
unsteriles Zubehörteil für den einmaligen Gebrauch, das zur
Sicherung des drahtlosen externen Neurostimulators
Modell 97725 an der Haut des Patienten mithilfe einer
Klebeauflage während einer Teststimulation dient.

Einsetzen des drahtlosen externen
Neurostimulators in die Schutzkappe

Lesen Sie vor der Anbringung der Schutzkappe für den
externen Neurostimulator an der Haut des Patienten das
Benutzerhandbuch für den externen Neurostimulator, um den
externen Neurostimulator für die Teststimulation vorzubereiten.

Hinweis: Die Klebeauflage auf der Schutzkappe kann Juckreiz
oder Unbehagen hervorrufen. Sollte die Klebeauflage auf der
Schutzkappe Unbehagen hervorrufen, ersetzen Sie die
Schutzkappe für den externen Neurostimulator und bringen Sie
diese an einer anderen Stelle auf der Haut des Patienten an.

1. Führen Sie den externen Neurostimulator schräg in die
Öffnung der Schutzkappe ein, während Sie die
Schutzkappe mit der anderen Hand festhalten
(Abbildung 1).

De externe-neurostimulatorhoes is een niet-steriel toebehoren
voor eenmalig gebruik, waarmee de draadloze externe
neurostimulator Model 97725 met een plakstrip op de huid van
de patiënt kan worden bevestigd tijdens proefstimulatie.

De draadloze externe neurostimulator in de hoes
plaatsen

Lees in de gebruiksaanwijzing van de externe neurostimulator
hoe u de externe neurostimulator voorbereidt voor
proefstimulatie voordat u de externe-neurostimulatorhoes op
de huid van de patiënt bevestigt.

Opmerking: De kleeflaag van de hoes kan jeuk en ongemak
veroorzaken. Als de kleeflaag van de hoes ongemak
veroorzaakt, vervangt u de externe-neurostimulatorhoes en
brengt u die op een andere plaats aan op de huid van de
patiënt.

1. Steek de externe neurostimulator onder een hoek in de

De draadloze externe neurostimulator uit de hoes

Raadpleeg voordat u de externe neurostimulator verwijdert de
desbetreffende procedure in de gebruiksaanwijzing van de
externe neurostimulator:

Let op: Ga uiterst voorzichtig te werk wanneer u de
draadloze externe neurostimulator uit de hoes verwijdert.
Vermijd overmatige tractie, knikken, buigen, uitrekken of
draaien van de geleidingsdraad. Dit kan leiden tot
losraken of beschadiging van de geleidingsdraad,
waardoor operatieve vervanging noodzakelijk is.

Istruzioni per l'uso

L'alloggiamento del neurostimolatore esterno è un accessorio
non sterile monouso utilizzato per fissare il neurostimolatore
esterno wireless modello 97725 alla cute del paziente con un
cuscinetto adesivo durante la stimolazione di prova.

Inserimento del neurostimolatore esterno wireless
nell'alloggiamento

Prima di fissare l'alloggiamento del neurostimolatore esterno
alla cute del paziente, fare riferimento al manuale per l'utente
del neurostimolatore esterno per preparare il neurostimolatore
esterno per la stimolazione di prova.

Nota: il cuscinetto adesivo dell'alloggiamento può causare
prurito o fastidio. Se il cuscinetto adesivo dell'alloggiamento
provoca una sensazione di fastidio, sostituire l'alloggiamento
del neurostimolatore esterno e applicarlo alla cute del paziente
in una posizione differente.

4. Assicurarsi che il neurostimolatore esterno sia

completamente inserito nell'alloggiamento e che
l'alloggiamento non intralci gli elettrocateteri o il tasto ENS.

5. Pulire l'area della cute del paziente nel punto in cui si
desidera posizionare l'alloggiamento del neurostimolatore
esterno.

6. Rimuovere lo strato protettivo dal cuscinetto adesivo.

7. Applicare l'alloggiamento del neurostimolatore esterno alla

cute del paziente e premere con decisione per garantire
che l'alloggiamento aderisca saldamente alla cute e che
sia correttamente a contatto con quest'ultima.

Nota: il cuscinetto adesivo dell'alloggiamento ha una
durata massima di 7 giorni. Se il cuscinetto adesivo
dell'alloggiamento provoca una sensazione di fastidio,
sostituire l'alloggiamento del neurostimolatore esterno e
applicarlo alla cute del paziente in una posizione
differente.

8. Per le istruzioni sulla preparazione alla stimolazione di
prova una volta applicato l'alloggiamento alla cute del
paziente, fare riferimento al manuale per l'utente del
neurostimolatore esterno.

Το κάλυμμα εξωτερικού νευροδιεγέρτη είναι ένα μη στείρο

Μοντέλο 97725 στο δέρμα του ασθενούς με ένα αυτοκόλλητο
επίθεμα κατά τη διάρκεια δοκιμαστικής διέγερσης.

Εισαγωγή του ασύρματου εξωτερικού
νευροδιεγέρτη στο κάλυμμα

Πριν προσαρτήσετε το κάλυμμα εξωτερικού νευροδιεγέρτη στο
δέρμα του ασθενούς, ανατρέξτε στο εγχειρίδιο χρήστη του
εξωτερικού νευροδιεγέρτη για να προετοιμάσετε τον εξωτερικό
νευροδιεγέρτη για δοκιμαστική διέγερση.

Σημείωση: Το αυτοκόλλητο του καλύμματος ενδέχεται να

γεγονός που θα απαιτούσε χειρουργική
αντικατάσταση.

πλήρως στο κάλυμμα και ότι το κάλυμμα δεν παρεμποδίζει
τα ηλεκτρόδια ή το κομβίο ENS.

5. Καθαρίστε το δέρμα του ασθενούς στη θέση όπου
πρόκειται να τοποθετηθεί το κάλυμμα του εξωτερικού
νευροδιεγέρτη.

6. Αποκολλήστε την αυτοκόλλητη επένδυση από το
αυτοκόλλητο επίθεμα.

7. Εφαρμόστε το κάλυμμα εξωτερικού νευροδιεγέρτη στο
δέρμα του ασθενούς, πιέζοντας σταθερά για να
διασφαλίσετε την πλήρη επαφή και προσκόλληση.

Σημείωση: Το αυτοκόλλητο του καλύμματος ενδέχεται να
διαρκέσει έως και 7 ημέρες. Εάν το αυτοκόλλητο στο
κάλυμμα προκαλεί δυσφορία, αντικαταστήστε το κάλυμμα
εξωτερικού νευροδιεγέρτη και εφαρμόστε το σε
