INSTRUCTIONS FOR DIVERGENCEL™ INSERTERS

DISASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS:
Refer to the Medtronic Reusable Instruments Instructions for Use prior to reprocessing this instrument. After the instrument is
disassembled, refer to the Medtronic Reusable Instruments Instructions for Use.
DISASSEMBLY
1. Start pulling Inserter Shaft (Item 2) out of Handle Inserter (item 1) until it stops, then turn counter clockwise until it is loose.
Then, separate the Inserter Shaft from the Handle Inserter.
2. Hold the Guide (Item 3) with one hand and the Handle Inserter with the other hand, then unthread the Handle Inserter from
the Guide.
3. Separate the Guide from the Handle Insterter.

ASSEMBLY
1. Insert Guide (Item 3) into Handle Inserter (Item 1), and then thread the Guide and Handle Inserter together.
2. Insert Inserter Shaft (Item 2) into Handle Inserter until it stops, then turn clockwise until it falls the rest of the way into the
handle.
3. Handle Inserter, Inserter Shaft, and Guide in the assembled condition.
