The following table lists certain conditions that may occur during use of the Model 9986
Software Version 1.5.1. The table also provides the Resolution for these conditions.
Condition Observed Behavior Suggested Corrective Action
When pacing artifacts are turned
on, the artifacts will appear on the
ECG traces in the various places
where traces are displayed: Live
Rhythm Monitor, Frozen Strip
Window, Real-Time Chart
Recorder. However, the artifacts
will not appear on reports, such
as the Frozen Strip report.
Programmer Overheat message
fails to appear. If the programmer
overheats, the expected behavior
is that the programmer will shut
down. If the user turns the
programmer back on, the user will
get no message indicating why
the programmer shut down.
Pacing artifacts do not appear on
printed reports.
The programmer shuts itself
down, and the user reboots but
receives no feedback regarding
what caused the programmer to
shut down.
Check the displayed waveforms
for pacing artifact information.
Allow the programmer to cool
down and then turn the
programmer back on.
