2.1 Was Sie unbedingt beachten müssen

Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch

• Das Modul ist zur Messung der Körpertemperatur von Menschen sowie der Temperatur von Flüssigkeiten, Oberflächen und der Umgebung bestimmt.

• Es ist in Kombination mit Apple (iOS 3.0 oder höher) Geräten (iPhone 3G, 3GS, 4G / iPod touch 2nd, 3rd, 4th generation / iPad / iPad 2) zu nutzen.

Gegenanzeige

• Das System ist nicht zur Temperaturmessung bei Neugeborenen innerhalb der ersten 100 Tage geeignet.

• Es ist nicht für Kinder unter drei Jahren, die ein gefährdetes Immunsystem haben oder bei Auftreten bzw. Nicht-Auftreten von Fieber bedenklich reagieren geeignet.

• Betreiben Sie das System nicht in der Nähe von starken Sendern wie z.B. Mikro- und Kurzwellen-Geräten.

• Für einwandfreie Messungen mit dem ThermoDock, halten Sie einen Mindestabstand von ca. 30 cm zu anderen Mobilfunkgeräten.

• Benutzen Sie das Gerät nur entsprechend seiner Bestimmung laut Gebrauchsanweisung.

• Bei Zweckentfremdung erlischt der Garantieanspruch.

• Das Gerät ist nicht für den kommerziellen Gebrauch bestimmt.

• Der Gebrauch dieses Thermometer-Systems ersetzt nicht die Konsultation eines Arztes.

• Personen und Thermometer-Modul sollten sich für mindestens 30 Minuten in gleich bleibender Umgebung befinden, bevor eine Messung vorgenommen wird.

• Dieses Gerät ist nicht dafür bestimmt, durch Personen (einschließlich Kinder) mit eingeschränkten physischen, sensorischen oder geistigen Fähigkeiten oder mangelnder Erfahrung und /oder mangelndem

Wissen benutzt zu werden, es sei denn, sie werden durch eine für ihre Sicherheit zuständige Person beaufsichtigt oder erhielten von ihr Anweisungen, wie das Gerät zu benutzen ist.

• Kinder müssen beaufsichtigt werden, um sicherzustellen, dass sie nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.

• Die Temperatur des Stirn- und Schläfenbereiches unterscheidet sich von der Körperkerntemperatur, die z.B. oral oder rektal gemessen wird. Eine fiebrige Erkrankung kann im Frühstadium zu einem gefäßverengenden Effekt (Vasokonstriktion) führen, der die Haut abkühlt. In diesem Fall kann die mit dem ThermoDock gemessene Temperatur außergewöhnlich niedrig sein. Wenn demzufolge ein Messergebnis nicht mit dem Empfinden des Patienten übereinstimmt oder ungewöhnlich niedrig ausfällt, wiederholen Sie die Messung alle 15 Minuten. Zur Kontrolle können Sie auch eine Messung der Körperkerntemperatur mit einem herkömmlichen Thermometer durchführen, das sich für die orale oder rektale Messung eignet.

• In folgenden Fällen ist eine Kontrollmessung mit einem herkömmlichen Fieberthermometer empfehlenswert: – wenn das Messergebnis überraschend niedrig ist, – wenn der Nutzer das Gerät zum ersten Mal

verwendet oder sich mit der richtigen Anwendung noch vertraut macht.

• Die Hautoberfläche von Babies reagiert sehr schnell auf die Umgebungstemperatur. Nehmen Sie deshalb keine Messung mit dem ThermoDock während oder nach dem Stillen vor, weil die Hauttemperatur dann niedriger als die Körperkerntemperatur sein kann.

• Im Falle von Störungen oder Beschädigungen reparieren Sie das Gerät nicht selbst, da dadurch jeglicher Garantieanspruch erlischt. Fragen Sie Ihren Fachhändler und lassen Sie Reparaturen nur von autorisierten Servicestellen durchführen.

• Ein beschädigtes Gerät darf nicht benutzt werden.

• Öffnen Sie das Gerät nicht. Es enthält Kleinteile, die von Kindern verschluckt werden könnten.

• Benutzen Sie das Thermometersystem nicht in feuchter Umgebung.

• Legen Sie das Thermometer-Modul nicht ins Wasser oder in eine andere Flüssigkeit. Es ist nicht wasserdicht.

• Für die Reinigung beachten Sie die Hinweise unter “6.2 Reinigung und Pflege”, Seite 31.

• Schütteln und klopfen Sie das ThermoDock Modul nicht. Lassen Sie es nicht fallen.

• Schützen Sie das Gerät vor direkter Sonneneinstrahlung, extrem hohen oder niedrigen Temperaturen, Verunreinigungen und Staub.

• Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht, wenn es nicht einwandfrei funktioniert, wenn es herunter- oder ins Wasser gefallen ist oder beschädigt wurde.

2.2 Hinweise zur VitaDock App

Stellen Sie sicher, dass Ihr Apple Gerät mit dem neuesten Betriebssystem arbeitet. Hinweise zu Software-Updates finden Sie in Ihrer Apple Geräte-Gebrauchsanweisung.

•

Stellen Sie sicher, dass Ihre VitaDock Software (App)

regelmäßig aktualisiert wird. Hinweise zu Updates von Apps finden Sie in Ihrer Apple GeräteGebrauchsanweisung.

• Nutzer sollten eine Code-Sperre in den Geräteeinstellungen setzen und Ihr Benutzerprofil in VitaDock durch ein Passwort schützen.

• Die App zeigt ein Fenster mit einer Warnung, falls Sie Einstellungen verändert haben. Bevor die Änderungen wirksam werden, muss der Warnhinweis bestätigt werden.

• Zur korrekten Funktion ist es erforderlich, dass das Apple Gerät ausreichend geladen ist. Nutzer sollten ein Netzteil bzw. eine Lademöglichkeit zur Verfügung haben.

• Stellen Sie sicher, dass stets genügend Speicherkapazität zur Sicherung der Messdaten auf Ihrem Apple Gerät zur Verfügung steht.

• Wenn Sie während einer Messung einen Anruf oder eine SMS erhalten, so wird aus Sicherheitsgründen die Messung abgebrochen. Wenn Sie den Abbruch Ihrer Messung verhindern wollen, empfehlen wir Ihnen, Ihr iPhone in den Flugmodus zu schalten.

3.1 Lieferumfang und Verpackung

Bitte prüfen Sie zunächst, ob das Gerät vollständig ist und keinerlei Beschädigung aufweist. Im Zweifelsfall nehmen Sie das Gerät nicht in Betrieb und wenden Sie sich an Ihren Händler oder an Ihre Servicestelle.

Wissenswertes zur Temperaturmessung mit

dem ThermoDock Messsystem

Was ist Fieber?

Unsere normale Körpertemperatur liegt zwischen 36 °C und 37,5 °C. Je nach Tageszeit und körperlicher Befindlichkeit, z.B. im Monatszyklus einer Frau, sind Schwankungen ganz normal. Steigt aber die Körpertemperatur über 38 °C an, spricht man von Fieber. Fieber tritt häufig bei Infektionen auf und ist ein Zeichen dafür, dass die Immunabwehr des Körpers verstärkt arbeitet. Diese natürliche Reaktion des Körpers auf äußere Krankheitserreger sollte im Verlauf regelmäßig kontrolliert werden. Wenn das Fieber über 39 °C ansteigt und auch nach 1 bis 2 Tagen nicht wieder sinkt, suchen Sie unbedingt den Arzt auf. Eine fiebrige Erkrankung ist häufig mit Müdigkeit, Gliederschmerzen, Frösteln und Schüttelfrost verbunden. Der Krankheitsverlauf lässt sich am besten kontrollieren, wenn Sie 2 bis 3 mal täglich im Abstand von 4 bis 6 Stunden Fieber messen. Die Messung sollte immer am selben Platz und an der selben Körperstelle durchgeführt werden. Wenn Fieber an mehreren Tagen hintereinander gemessen werden muss, sollte dies auch immer ungefähr zur gleichen Uhrzeit geschehen, damit die Ergebnisse vergleichbar sind.

Temperatur messen – rasch und fehlerfrei! Mit dem MEDISANA Infrarot-Thermometer-System

ThermoDock ist eine präzise berührungslose Messung

(ca. 5 cm Abstand) der Körpertemperatur möglich. Die Messung wird über der Augenbraue, im Verlauf zwischen Stirn und Schläfe, vorgenommen. Dabei wird der Wert der von dort abgestrahlten Energie gemessen und in einen Temperaturwert umgewandelt. Das Messergebnis wird innerhalb von ca. 2 Sekunden im Display des angeschlossenen Apple-Gerätes angezeigt. So kann z.B. die Temperatur von Babies gemessen werden, ohne sie im Schlaf zu stören.

Objekttemperatur mit Livemodus

Außer zur Messung der Körpertemperatur, kann das ThermoDock

von MEDISANA

auch zur Messung

einer Objekttemperatur

im Livemodus (z.B. Umgebungstemperatur, Flüssigkeiten, Oberflächen) verwendet werden.

Eine Messung in dieser Funktion ist im Bereich von 0 bis 100 ˚Celsius möglich. Im Livemodus kann die Temperatur von verschiedenen Objekten gemessen werden. Die stets aktuelle Temperatur wird in einem Kurvendiagramm dargestellt. Die zuletzt gemessene Temperatur wird nach Beenden des Livemodus angezeigt.

Besonderheiten des ThermoDock

Das ThermoDock Messsystem wurde so gestaltet, dass Sie es einfach, regelmäßig und überall benutzen können. Das Messsystem ist für die aktive Temperaturkontrolle von Personen zur Eigenanwendung bestimmt.

Ihr MEDISANA Temperatur-Messsystem ThermoDock besteht aus zwei Komponenten, dem Infrarot-Temperatur-Messmodul ThermoDock und der VitaDock Software (App). Diese Komponenten sind speziell aufeinander abgestimmt und auf ihre Qualität getestet, damit genaue Testergebnisse gewährleistet sind. Nur die korrekte Anwendung des Systems kann genaue Testergebnisse garantieren. Mit der VitaDock Software (App) werden die vom ThermoDock Modul erzeugten Daten in das angeschlossene Apple Gerät übertragen. Die VitaDock App ermöglicht es dem Nutzer, die Messdaten zu speichern, darzustellen und zu analysieren. Ferner können die Messdaten per E-Mail an andere Personen übermittelt werden.

4.1 Installation der VitaDock App

MEDISANA setzt mit VitaDock neue Maßstäbe in der

mobilen Gesundheit. Die VitaDock

App, die zentrale Software-Applikation

für das Darstellen und Auswerten von Körpervital- und Gesundheitswerten, beinhaltet die Software für:

- das Infrarot-Thermometer-Modul ThermoDock

- das Blutdruck- und Puls-Messmodul CardioDock

- das Blutzucker-Messmodul GlucoDock

- die Körperanalysewaage TargetScale

Die volle Funktionalität der CardioDock, GlucoDock und TargetScale Software ist nur bei Verwendung der entsprechenden Module bzw. Waage gegeben.

Der Betrieb Ihres neuen Infrarot-Thermometer-Moduls ThermoDock für iPod touch, iPhone oder iPad benötigt die Installation der kostenlosen VitaDock App. Diese können Sie über den App-Store von Apple herunterladen und installieren.

Für den Download der Software benötigen Sie eine Apple ID mit E-Mail-Adresse und Kennwort sowie eine aktive Internetverbindung. Durch das Herunterladen der Software können bei Ihrem Telefonanbieter ggf. Gebühren anfallen.

• Für die Suche der VitaDock App im App-Store verwen-

den Sie den Suchbegriff „VitaDock“.

• Wurde die Software erfolgreich installiert, erscheint

das neue Symbol „VitaDock“ auf Ihrem Gerät.

Sie können in VitaDock insgesamt 4 Benutzerprofile anlegen.

Im ersten Benutzerprofil können Sie Ihre persönlichen Daten eingeben. Durch Tippen auf das entsprechende Textfeld öffnet sich ein Tastaturfeld, mit dem Sie die Daten editieren können.

Optional kann ein Passwort für die Benutzung der VitaDock App aktiviert werden.

Tippen Sie dazu in das Textfeld „Passwort“ und legen Sie ein Passwort fest. Sie werden aufgefordert dieses zur Überprüfung erneut einzugeben.

Haben Sie die Passwortfunktion aktiviert, müssen Sie das Passwort beim Start der App angeben.

5.1 Hinweise zur

Temperaturmessung

Vor dem Gebrauch

• Anpassung des Gerätes an die Raumtemperatur: Um eine genaue Messung der Körpertemperatur vornehmen zu können, muss sich das ThermoDock seiner Umgebungstemperatur anpassen. Dies geschieht automatisch. Das ThermoDock benötigt jedoch für die Angleichung der Eigentemperatur an die Raumtemperatur eine gewisse Zeitspanne. Diese ist vom Temperaturunterschied abhängig und kann bis zu mehr als 30

Minuten dauern. Nur, wenn dieser

Prozess des

Temperatur-Ausgleichs abgeschlossen ist,

können präzise Messergebnisse erzielt werden.

Hinweise

um genaue Messergebnisse zu erhalten:

• Personen und Thermometer sollten sich für

mindestens 30 Minuten in gleich bleibender Umgebung befinden, bevor eine Messung vorgenommen wird.

• Nehmen Sie keine Messung während oder direkt

nach dem Stillen eines Babies vor.

• Benutzen Sie das Thermometer nicht in feuchter

Umgebung.

• Personen sollten direkt vor oder während einer

Messung nicht trinken, essen und jegliche körperliche Anstrengung vermeiden.

• Reinigen Sie den Bereich, in dem gemessen

werden soll und entfernen Sie Schmutz, Haare oder Schweiß, bevor Sie den Sensor in Messposition bringen.

• Entfernen Sie das Thermometer nicht aus dem Messbereich, bevor Sie den Piepton vernommen haben der das Ende des Messvorgangs bestätigt.

• Wenn der Sensor bei oder nach einer Messung verschmutzt wird, reinigen Sie ihn mit einem in Reinigungsalkohol getauchten Wattestäbchen, bevor Sie das Thermometer bis zur nächsten Nutzung aufbewahren.

• Führen Sie Temperaturmessungen immer am selben Platz durch, weil sich das Messergebnis in verschiedener Umgebung verändert.

• In folgenden Fällen ist eine Kontrollmessung mit einem herkömmlichen Fieberthermometer empfehlenswert:

– Wenn das Messergebnis überraschend

niedrig ist,

– Bei Neugeborenen innerhalb der ersten

100 Tage,

– Bei Kindern unter drei Jahren, die ein

gefährdetes Immunsystem haben oder bei Auftreten bzw. Nicht-Auftreten von Fieber bedenklich reagieren,

– Wenn der Nutzer das Gerät zum ersten Mal

verwendet oder sich mit der richtigen Anwendung noch vertraut macht.

Das Thermometer wurde klinisch getestet und seine Sicherheit und Genauigkeit geprüft und bestätigt, wenn es entsprechend dieser Gebrauchsanweisung benutzt wird.

5.2 Körpertemperatur messen

Um Störungen während einer Messung duch eingehenden Anruf oder

SMS zu vermeiden, wird

Hinweis

Sie können den Messwert manuell eintippen, wenn Sie ein herkömliches Thermometer verwenden.

2. Sobald das ThermoDock

System aktiv ist, leuchtet eine blaue LED am ThermoDock auf.

3. Die Temperaturmessung

beginnt sofort nach dem Antippen der „Start“ Taste im Display, gleichzeitig ertönt ein Signal. Führen Sie das ThermoDock unmittelbar nach dem Antippen der „Start“ Taste in einem Abstand von ca. 5 cm von der Mitte der Stirn bis zur Schläfe. Das Modul erfasst die Temperatur an der Stirn bzw. Schläfe und wandelt diese in einen Messwert um.

4. Ein Signal ertönt, wenn die

Messung abgeschlossen ist. Nach ca. 2 Sekunden erscheint der Messwert im Display.

Anzeige „gut“ und grüne Färbung: der Messwert ist im Zielbereich (siehe „ThermoDock Einstellungen“).

Anzeige „hoch“ und rote Färbung: der Messwert ist oberhalb des Zielbereichs.

Anzeige „niedrig“ und blaue Färbung: der Messwert ist unterhalb des Zielbereichs.

Tippen Sie auf das Feld „Anmerkungen“, um das Eingabefeld für Anmerkungen zur Messung zu öffnen.

5.3 Mit Livemodus Objekttemperatur messen

Mit dem Livemodus kann die Temperatur von verschiedenen Objekten gemessen werden.

Tippen Sie das Icon Livemodus

an.

Starten Sie die Messung und halten Sie das ThermoDock in einem Abstand von ca. 5 cm zu den Objekten.

Die zuletzt gemessene Temperatur wird nach Beenden des Livemodus angezeigt.

Der Verlauf der Temperatur wird in einem Kurvendiagramm dargestellt.

5.4 Aufrufen von Testergebnissen - Statistik

Sie können sich jederzeit Ihre Testergebnisse anzeigen lassen, ohne das ThermoDock anzudocken. Durch Berühren der Symbole Statistik oder Tagebuch werden die Testergebnisse des aktiven Benutzerprofils aufgerufen.

Statistik

Antippen des STATISTIKSymbols ruft die Testergebnisse des aktiven Benutzerprofils der letzten 3 Tage auf.

Drehen Sie Ihr Gerät um 90° und tippen Sie auf das entsprechende Feld, um zu den weiteren Testergebnissen zu gelangen:

1 Tag, 1 Woche, 1, 3, 6 Monate, 1 Jahr oder Gesamt

Durch Schieben der Displayanzeige nach links können Sie sich den Überblick der Stimmung und Aktivität anzeigen lassen.

Thermo Tagebuch

Durch Antippen des Symbols „Tagebuch“ wird das Tagebuch geladen. Die Messwerte mit den Anmerkungen werden dargestellt. Drehen Sie Ihr Gerät um 90° und tippen Sie auf die Pfeile, um im Tagebuch zu blättern.

5.6 Temperaturdaten-Export

Tippen Sie auf das Symbol „Bericht“, wird der Monatsbericht angezeigt.

Durch Antippen der Pfeile gelangen Sie zum vorigen bzw. zum nächsten Monat.

Durch Schieben des Displays nach oben und unten können Sie sich die einzelnen Tage des Monats anzeigen lassen.

Tippen Sie auf „Bericht senden“, um die Daten per E-Mail zu senden.

Sie haben die Möglichkeit, die Monatsberichte des aktiven Benutzerprofils per E-Mail z.B. an Ihren Arzt zu senden. Zum Versenden eines Reports muss eine E-Mail Adresse generiert sein. Informieren Sie sich

hierzu in Ihrer

iPhone/iPod touch/

iPad Gebrauchsanweisung. Wird das Display „ThermoDock“ angezeigt, tippen Sie auf das Symbol und schieben Sie das Display zu „Globale Einstellungen“.

Sie haben die Möglichkeit, in der VitaDock App zusätzlich bis zu 3 weitere Benutzerprofile anzulegen.

Hierzu gibt es

2 Möglichkeiten:

Beim Start der Vitadock App können Sie ein neues Benutzerprofil anlegen.

Tippen Sie auf das Symbol „Persönliche Einstellungen“ und melden Sie sich aus dem aktuellen Benutzerprofil ab, indem Sie auf „Abmelden“ tippen.

Sobald Sie sich aus Ihrem Benutzerprofil abgemeldet haben, können Sie auf dem folgenden Bildschirm ein weiteres Benutzerprofil anlegen. Tippen Sie hierzu unten auf das Feld „Neues Benutzerprofil“.

Anschließend können Sie ein weiteres Benutzerprofil anlegen.

5.7 Hinzufügen weiterer Benutzerprofile

Starten Sie die VitaDock App neu oder schließen Sie Ihr Benutzerprofil.

Tippen Sie auf „Bearbeiten“. Es erscheint rechts neben dem Benutzerprofil die Möglichkeit, das Profil zu löschen.

Tippen Sie auf „Löschen“, um das Benutzerprofil zu löschen.

Das gelöschte Benutzerprofil wird grau hinterlegt. Innerhalb eines Zeitraumes von 14 Tagen haben Sie die Möglichkeit, das gelöschte Benutzerprofil durch Antippen zu reaktivieren. Nach Ablauf von 14 Tagen wird das Benutzerprofil automatisch endgültig aus der App gelöscht.

Achtung!

Das Benutzerprofil, alle Messwerte und Eintragungen werden unwiderruflich gelöscht. Es gibt keine Möglichkeit, diese wieder herzustellen.

6.1 Fehlermeldungen

ThermoDock hat sich gelöst.

Schwacher Akku

Beschreibungen

Die gemessene Temperatur ist zu hoch. Im Display erscheint die Anzeige „hoch“ und rote Färbung der Blase, wenn das Messergebnis über 42,2 °C (Körper-Modus) oder 100 °C (Objekt-Modus) liegt.

Die gemessene Temperatur ist zu niedrig. Im Display erscheint die Anzeige „niedrig“ und blaue Färbung der Blase, wenn das Messergebnis unter 34 °C (Körper-Modus) oder 0 °C (Objekt-Modus) liegt.

Die Umgebungstemperatur ist zu hoch. Die Umgebungstemperatur ist höher als 40 °C (Objekt-Modus).

Die Umgebungstemperatur ist zu niedrig. Die Umgebungstemperatur liegt unter 16 °C (Körper-Modus) oder 5 °C (Objekt-Modus).

Stecken Sie das Modul wieder ein. Erscheint die Fehlermeldung erneut, setzen Sie sich mit der Servicestelle in Verbindung.

Laden Sie den Akku spätestens, wenn die Kapazität 20 % unterschreitet.

6.2 Reinigung und Pflege

Ihr ThermoDock Temperatur-Messmodul ist ein Präzisionsinstrument. Behandeln Sie es sorgfältig, um die Elektronik nicht zu beschädigen und Funktionsstörungen zu vermeiden. Wird das Modul gemäß dieser Gebrauchsanweisung benutzt, so ist keine regelmäßige Wartung oder Kalibrierung notwendig. Der Sensor ist das empfindlichste Teil des ThermoDock. Schützen Sie ihn vor Verschmutzungen und Beschädigungen.

Beachten Sie folgende Anweisungen:

• Halten Sie das Modul frei von Schmutz, Staub, Wasserflecken und Flüssigkeiten.

• Reinigen Sie den Sensor mit einem in warmes Wasser oder 70 %igen Isopropyl-Alkohol getauchtes Wattestäbchen.

• Vergewissern Sie sich, dass das ThermoDock Modul von Ihrem iPod touch / iPhone / iPad getrennt ist.

• Die Moduloberfläche können Sie mit einem leicht angefeuchteten Tuch (mit Wasser und einer milden Reinigungslösung) reinigen. Benutzen Sie das Gerät erst wieder, wenn es völlig trocken ist.

• Verwenden Sie nie aggressive Reinigungsmittel, Verdünner, Benzin oder starke Bürsten.

• Besprühen Sie das Modul keinesfalls mit Reinigungslösungen.

• Tauchen Sie das Modul nicht in Wasser. In das Gerät darf kein Wasser oder sonstige Flüssigkeit eindringen. Es ist nicht wasserdicht. Trocknen Sie das Modul nach der Reinigung mit einem fusselfreien Tuch.

• Lagern oder verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht in einer Umgebung mit zu hoher oder zu niedriger Temperatur (siehe „Technische Daten“, Seite 33) und Luftfeuchtigkeit, im Sonnenlicht, in Verbindung mit

elektrischem Strom oder an einem staubigen Ort.

• Bewahren Sie das Modul nach jedem Gebrauch in der mitgelieferten Transporttasche auf.

• Bewahren Sie das Modul nicht in einem Fahrzeug, Badezimmer oder Kühlschrank auf.

6.3 Richtlinien und Normen

Dieses Temperatur-Messsystem ist nach EG-Richtlinie 93/42/EEC zertifiziert und mit dem CE-Zeichen (Konformitätszeichen) „CE 0483“ versehen.

Es entspricht den europäischen Normen EN 60601-1/ +A1/+A2, EN 60601-1-2, EN 12470-5 und ASTM E1965.

Elektromagnetische Verträglichkeit:

Das System entspricht den Forderungen der Norm EN 60601-1-2 für die Elektromagnetische Verträglichkeit. Einzelheiten zu diesen Messdaten können über

MEDISANA erfragt werden.

6.4 Hinweise zur Entsorgung

Dieses Modul darf nicht zusammen mit dem Hausmüll entsorgt werden. Jeder Verbraucher ist verpflichtet, alle elektrischen oder elektronischen Geräte, egal, ob

sie Schadstoffe enthalten oder nicht, bei einer Sammelstelle seiner Stadt oder im Handel abzugeben, damit sie einer umweltschonenden Entsorgung zugeführt werden können. Wenden Sie sich hinsichtlich der Entsorgung an Ihre Kommunalbehörde.

Verpackungen sind wiederverwendbar oder

Bitte wenden Sie sich im Garantiefall an Ihr Fachgeschäft oder direkt an die Servicestelle. Sollten Sie das Gerät einschicken müssen, geben Sie bitte den Defekt an und legen eine Kopie der Kaufquittung bei.

Es gelten dabei die folgenden Garantiebedingungen:

1. Auf MEDISANA Produkte wird ab Verkaufsdatum

eine Garantie für drei Jahre gewährt. Das Verkaufsdatum ist im Garantiefall durch die Kaufquittung oder Rechnung nachzuweisen.

2. Mängel infolge von Material- oder Fertigungsfehlern

werden innerhalb der Garantiezeit kostenlos beseitigt.

3. Durch eine Garantieleistung tritt keine Verlängerung

der Garantiezeit, weder für das Gerät noch für ausgewechselte Bauteile, ein.

• It should be used together with Apple (iOS 3.0 or higher) devices (iPhone 3G, 3GS, 4G / iPod touch 2nd, 3rd, 4th generation / iPad / iPad 2).

Contraindication

• The system is not suitable for measuring the temperature of new-born infants up to 100 days old.

• It is not suitable for children under three years of age who have a weakened immune system or who react unusually in the presence or absence of fever.

• Do not operate the system in the vicinity of strong transmitters such as microwave and shortwave appliances.

•

To ensure ThermoDock readings are accurate, keep at a minimum distance of about 30 cm from other wireless devices.

• Only use the unit for the specific purpose described in the instruction manual.

• Any misuse will void the warranty.

• The unit is not designed for commercial use.

• Using this thermometer system is no substitute for consulting a doctor.

• The thermometer module and the patient must remain in a stable environment for at least 30 minutes before measuring the temperature.

• Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the device.

• The temperature in the forehead and temple area differs from the internal temperature, which is taken orally or rectally. Vasoconstriction, an effect which constricts the blood vessels and cools the skin, can occur during the early stages of a fever. In this case, the temperature measured by the ThermoDock may be unusually low. If the measurement therefore does not match the patient’s own perception or is unusually low, repeat the measurement every 15 minutes. As a reference, you can also measure the internal body temperature using a conventional oral or rectal thermometer.

• A control measurement using a conventional thermometer is recommended in the following cases: – if the reading is surprisingly low, – if you are using the thermometer for the first time

or want to familiarise yourself with it

• Babies’ skin reacts very quickly to the ambient temperature. Therefore, do not take their temperature with the ThermoDock during or after breastfeeding, because the skin temperature may then be lower than the internal body temperature.

• If a fault occurs or the unit is damaged, do not attempt to repair the unit yourself, as this will void the warranty. Contact your supplier and only have repairs carried out by authorized service partners.

• Do not use the thermometer if it is damaged.

• Make sure that there is always enough memory available to back up the reading data on your Apple device.

3.2 Useful information on taking temperature with the

ThermoDock

measuring system

What is fever?

Our normal body temperature is between 36 °C and 37,5 °C. Fluctuations are quite normal, depending on time of day and the body’s condition, for example in the female menstruation cycle. However, when body temperature rises above 38 °C, the phenomenon is known as fever. Fever often occurs in the case of infections, and is a sign that the body’s immune system is working overtime. This perfectly normal reaction to foreign bodies, germs and microorganisms should be checked at regular intervals. If the fever should exceed 39° C and not fall again within 1 to 2 days, you should definitely contact your doctor. A fever is often associated with fatigue, pains in the limbs, shivering and chills. The course of an illness can be best monitored by taking a temperature reading 2 to 3 times a day at 4 to 6 hour intervals. Always take the temperature at the same place and on the same part of the body. If you have to take the temperature several days in succession, always do it at approximately the same time of day so that the results are comparable.

Taking a temperature reading – quickly and accurately!

The MEDISANA ThermoDock Infrared Thermometer System allows precise, contact-free measurement of body temperature (at a distance of approximately 5 cm). The temperature is taken above the eyebrow between the forehead and the temple. The value of the energy radiated there is measured and converted to a temperature value. The result of the measurement is displayed on the connected Apple device within approx. 2 seconds. This enables you, for example, to take babies’ temperature without disturbing their sleep.

Object temperature with live mode Apart from measuring body temperature, the Thermo-

Dock

from MEDISANA

can also be used in live mode to measure the temperature of objects (e.g. fluids, surfaces, ambient temperature). The temperature range for this function is between 0 and 100 °Celsius. In live mode, you can measure the temperature of a variety of objects. The temperature is always current and displayed in a curve chart. The most recently measured temperature is displayed after live mode is ended.

The ThermoDock measuring system is designed so that you can use it easily, regularly and anywhere you choose. The measuring system is intended for persons to actively monitor their own temperature.

Your MEDISANA temperature measuring system ThermoDock consists of two components, the ThermoDock infrared temperature measuring module

and the VitaDock software (app). These parts are specially designed to be used together and for their quality to ensure precise test results. Precise test results can only be ensured when the monitor is used properly. The VitaDock software (app) transmits the data generated by the ThermoDock module to the connected Apple device. The VitaDock app allows users to save, display and analyse measurement data. You can also transmit the measurement data to other people via e-mail.

4.1 Installing the VitaDock®(app) software

MEDISANA is setting new standards in mobile health with VitaDock.

VitaDock

app, the central software application for

displaying and evaluating the body’s vital signs and health values, includes software for:

- the infrared thermometer module ThermoDock

- the blood pressure and pulse module CardioDock

- the blood glucose module GlucoDock

- the body analysis scales TargetScale

The CardioDock, GlucoDock and TargetScale software is only fully functioning if the relevant modules or scales are used.

To operate your new ThermoDock infrared thermometer module for iPod touch, iPhone

or iPad

, you have to install the free VitaDock app. You can download it from Apple’s app store and then install it.

To download the software, you need an Apple ID with an e-mail address and password, as well as an active Internet connection. Downloading the software may be subject to charges from your telephone provider.

• To find the VitaDock (app) in the App Store, enter the

search term “VitaDock“.

• Once the software has been successfully installed, the

new “VitaDock“ icon appears on your device.

4.2 Settings

Before using for the first time

Check the date and time settings on your iPod touch, iPhone or iPad. The date and time are important for evaluating the readings.

Start the ThermoDock by touching the icon . The display briefly shows the “Vita

Dock“ start page and

then automatically switches to

an entry screen for your

personal data.

You can create a total of 4 user profiles in the VitaDock app.

In the first user profile, you can enter your personal data. Touching a text field opens a keyboard field with which you can edit your data.

You have the option of activating a password for using the VitaDock app.

To do this, touch the “Password” text field and specify a password. You are asked to enter it twice, to make sure of it.

If you activate the password function, you have to enter the password each time the app restarts.

5.1 Information on

measuring temperature

Before use

• Acclimatise the device to the temperature of

the room

The ThermoDock must adapt to the ambient temperature in order to measure body temperature precisely. This

occurs automatically. However, the ThermoDock takes a certain amount of time to equalise its own temperature to that of the room. This depends on the difference in temperature and can take more than 30

minutes. Precise readings can

only be taken once this process is completed.

NOTES

For the most accurate readings:

• The thermometer and the patient must remain

in a stable environment for at least 30 minutes before measuring the temperature.

• Do not take a baby’s temperature during or

directly after breastfeeding.

• Do not use the thermometer in damp

environments.

• Patients should not drink or eat directly before

or during a measurement, and they should avoid any physical exertion.

• Clean the area where you are taking the

temperature and remove any dirt, hairs or sweat before moving the sensor to the measuring position.

• Do not remove the thermometer from the

measuring position until it has beeped to signal the end of the reading. —>

• If the sensor becomes dirty during or after a reading, clean it with a cotton bud dipped in cleaning alcohol before putting the thermometer away.

• Always take the temperature in the same place, because the readings will vary in different environments.

5.2 Measuring body temperature

To avoid disruption from an incoming call or text message during a reading, we recommend switching the iPhone to flight mode.

You can activate the ThermoDock’s temperature measuring

mode in two ways:

into the switched-on Apple device. Select the user profile and enter the password, if necessary. The VitaDock app starts automatically in temperature measuring mode.

b) Manual start: Start the

VitaDock app. Select the user profile and enter the password, if necessary. The VitaDock universe appears.

“ThermoDock” application and tap on the “New” icon . The “New measurement

Step 1” window opens. You are prompted to connect the ThermoDock module (or enter the value manually). Insert the ThermoDock module in your Apple device.

system is active, a blue LED lights up on the ThermoDock.

3. The device begins to measure

the temperature as soon as you touch the “Start” button on the display, accompanied by an acoustic signal. Immediately after touching the “Start” button, pass the ThermoDock from the centre of your forehead to your temple at a distance of approx. 5 cm. The module records the temperature at the forehead and temple and converts it into a measurement.

4. You will hear a signal when

measuring is complete. After approx. 2 seconds the measurement appears on the display.

You have the option of sending monthly reports for the active user profile by e-mail – to your doctor, for example. To set up the email address to send a report see your iPhone/ iPod touch/ iPad manual.

When the ThermoDock display is shown, touch the icon and slide the display to “Global settings”.

Touch the “report“ icon to display the monthly reports.

Touch the arrows to reach the previous or next month.

Slide the display up or down to view the individual days in the month.

Touch “Send report“ to send the data by e-mail.

You have the option of creating up to three additional user profiles in the VitaDock app.

There are two ways of doing this:

You can create a new user profile when you start the VitaDock app.

Touch “Personal settings” icon and log out of the current user profile by touching “Sign out”.

Once you have logged out of your user profile, you can create another user profile on the next screen. To do this, touch “New user profile” field at the bottom.

You can then create an additional user profile.

Restart the VitaDock app or close your user profile.

Touch “Edit“. The option of deleting the profile appears to the right of the user profile.

Touch “Delete“ to delete the user profile.

The deleted user profile is shown in grey. For a period of 14 days, you have the option of reactivating the deleted user profile by touching it. After 14 days, the user profile is automatically deleted completely from the app.

CAUTION!

The user profile, all the readings and entries are irreversibly deleted. There is no way to restore them.

Description

The measured temperature is too high. “High” appears in the display if the reading is above 42.2 °C (body mode) or 100 °C (object mode). The bubble is red.

The measured temperature is too low. “Low” appears in the display if the reading is below 34 °C (body mode) or 0 °C (object mode). The bubble is blue.

The ambient temperature is too high. The ambient temperature is above 40 °C (object mode)

The ambient temperature is too low. The ambient temperature is below 16 °C (body mode) or 5 °C (object mode).

Reconnect the module. Contact the service centre if the error message appears again.

Recharge the battery at the latest when capacity falls below 20 %.

6.2 Cleaning and maintenance

Your ThermoDock temperature measuring module is a high-precision instrument. Handle with care to avoid damaging the electronics and prevent defects. No regular maintenance or calibration is required if the module is used in accordance with these instructions. The sensor is the most delicate part of the ThermoDock. Protect it from dirt and damage.

Observe the following instructions:

• Keep the module free from dirt, dust, water stains and fluids.

• Clean the sensor with a cotton bud dipped in warm water or 70% isopropyl alcohol.

• Ensure that the ThermoDock module is disconnected from your iPod touch / iPhone / iPad.

• Clean the surface of the module with a slightly damp cloth (with water and a mild detergent). Only use the unit again when completely dry.

• Never use aggressive cleaning agents, thinners, spirit or tough brushes.

• Never use cleaning agents on the module.

• Never immerse the module in water. Do not allow water or other liquids to penetrate the device. It is not watertight. Dry the module with a lint-free cloth after cleaning.

• Do not use or store the unit in an environment where the ambient temperature or humidity is too high or too low (see “Technical specifications”, page 33), in direct sunshine, in the vicinity of static electricity or in a dusty environment.

• Put the module back in its carrying case after each use.

• Do not store the module in a vehicle, bathroom or refrigerator.

This temperature measuring system meets the requirements of the EC standard 93/42/EEC. It is certified with the CE symbol (conformity symbol) „CE 0483“.

It corresponds to European standards EN 60601-1/ +A1/+A2, EN 60601-1-2, EN 12470-5 and ASTM E1965.

Electromagnetic compatibility:

The device complies with the EN 60601-1-2 standard for electromagnetic compatibility. Enquire at MEDISANA for details on this measurement data.

6.4 Disposal

7.1 Warranty and repair terms

Please contact your supplier or the service centre in case of a claim under the warranty. If you have to return the unit, please enclose a copy of your receipt and state what the defect is.

The following warranty terms apply:

1. The warranty period for MEDISANA products is

three years from date of purchase. In case of a warranty claim, the date of purchase has to be proven by means of the sales receipt or invoice.

2. Defects in material or workmanship will be corrected

free of charge within the warranty period.

3. Repairs under warranty do not extend the warranty

period either for the unit or for the replacement parts.

4. The following is excluded under the warranty: a. All damage which has arisen due to improper

treatment, e.g. nonobservance of the user instructions.

b. All damage which is due to repairs or tampering

• Il doit être utilisé avec les appareils Apple (iOS 3.0 ou supérieur) (iPhone 3G,3GS, 4G / iPod touch 2nd, 3rd, 4th generation / iPad / iPad 2).

Contre-indication

• Le système ne convient pas à la mesure de la température des nouveau-nés dans les 100 premiers jours.

• Il ne convient pas aux enfants de moins de trois ans ayant un système immunitaire menacé ou qui réagissent de manière préoccupante en cas d’apparition ou de non apparition de fièvre.

• N’utilisez pas le système à proximité de forts émetteurs comme p. ex. les appareils à micro-ondes et à ondes courtes.

•

Afin d’obtenir une mesure parfaite avec le ThermoDock, tenez-vous à une distance minimale de 30 cm d’autres appareils radio mobiles.

• Uniquement utiliser cet appareil conformément aubut d'utilisation décrit dans ce mode d'emploi.

• Tout emploi non conforme annule les droits de garantie.

• L'appareil n'est pas destiné à l'utilisation professionnelle.

• L’usage de ce système de thermomètre ne remplace pas une visite chez un médecin.

• Les personnes et le module de thermomètre doivent rester pendant au moins 30 minutes dans un même endroit avant de procéder à une mesure.

mentales réduites ou dépourvues d’expérience et/ou de connaissances, sauf si elles sont surveillées par une personne responsable de leur sécurité ou ont été instruites de l’utilisation de l’appareil.

• Les enfants doivent être surveillés en s’assurant qu’ils ne jouent pas avec l’appareil.

• La température du front ou des tempes se distingue de la température centrale du corps, mesurée par exemple oralement ou rectalement. Une maladie fiévreuse peut, à un stade précoce, conduire à un effet de resserrement des vaisseaux (vasoconstriction), qui refroidit la peau. Dans ce cas, il se peut que la température mesurée avec le ThermoDock soit extrêmement faible. Donc, si le résultat d’une mesure ne correspond pas au ressenti du patient ou s’il est inhabituellement bas, répétez la mesure toutes les 15 minutes. Vous pouvez également effectuer une mesure de la température centrale du corps avec un thermomètre médical traditionnel adapté pour une mesure orale ou rectale.

• Dans les cas suivants, il est recommandé d’effectuer une mesure de contrôle avec un thermomètre médical traditionnel : – Quand le résultat de la mesure est étonnamment

bas,

– Lorsque l’utilisateur emploie l’appareil pour la pre-

mière fois ou est en train de se familiariser avec son utilisation correcte.

• La surface de la peau des bébés réagit très rapidement à la température ambiante. Ne procédez donc à aucune mesure avec le ThermoDock pendant ou après l’allaitement, car la température cutanée peut

alors être plus basse que la température corporelle centrale.

• En cas de pannes ou d'endommagements, ne réparez pas l'appareil vous-même, ceci supprime tous vos droits de garantie. Renseignez-vous auprès de votre revendeur et confiez uniquement les réparations à des techniciens agréés.

• Ne pas utiliser l’appareil s’il est endommagé.

• N’ouvrez pas l’appareil. Il contient des pièces de petite taille pouvant être avalées par des enfants.

• N’utilisez pas le système de thermomètre dans un environnement humide.

• Ne pas immerger le module de thermomètre dans l'eau ou tout autre liquide. Il n’est pas étanche à l’eau.

• Pour le nettoyage, respectez les indications du chapitre “6.2 Nettoyage et entretien”, page 31.

• Ne pas secouer, ni heurter le thermomètre. Ne le laissez pas tomber.

• Protégez l’appareil de l’ensoleillement direct, des températures extrêmement élevées ou extrêmement basses, des saletés et de la poussière.

• N’utilisez pas le module s’il ne fonctionne pas impeccablement, s’il est tombé par terre ou dans l’eau ou s’il est endommagé.

Remarques concernant le logiciel

VitaDock®(application)

•

Assurez-vous que votre appareil Apple fonctionne avec le dernier

système d’exploitation. Vous trouverez des remarques concernant les mises à jour de logiciel dans le mode d’emploi de votre appareil Apple.

• Assurez-vous que votre logiciel VitaDock (application) est régulièrement actualisé. Vous trouverez des remarques concernant les mises à jour des applications dans le mode d’emploi de votre appareil Apple.

• Il est recommandé aux utilisateurs d’activer un verrouillage par mot de passe dans les paramètres de l’appareil et protéger leur profil d’utilisateur dans Vitadock par un mot de passe.

• L’application affiche une fenêtre avec un avertissement si vous avez modifié les réglages. Pour que les modifications soient activées, l’avertissement doit être acquitté.

• Pour que le fonctionnement soit correct, il faut que l’appareil Apple soit suffisamment chargé. Les utilisateurs doivent disposer d’un bloc d’alimentation ou d’une possiblité de charger l’appareil.

• Assurez-vous que la capacité de mémoire est toujours suffisante pour sauvegarder les données de mesure sur votre appareil Apple.

• Si vous recevez un appel ou un SMS pendant une mesure, celle-ci est interrompue pour des raisons de sécurité. Si vous voulez éviter l’interruption de votre mesure, nous vous conseillons de mettre votre iPhone en mode avion.

3.2 Informations utiles concernant la mesure de température avec le

système de mesure ThermoDock

Qu’est-ce que la fièvre ?

La température de notre corps se situe normalement entre 36 °C et 37,5 °C. Selon l'heure de la journée et l'état physique, par ex. durant la période de menstruation, des fluctuations sont normales. Mais si la température du corps dépasse 38 °C, on parle de fièvre. La fièvre se déclenche souvent en cas d'infection et est un signe que le système immunitaire du corps fonctionne plus que normalement. Cette réaction naturelle du corps face à des agents pathogènes doit cependant être régulièrement surveillée. Si la fièvre dépasse 39°C et ne tombe pas au bout d'un jour ou deux, vous devez absolument consulter un médecin. Une maladie fiévreuse est souvent associée à de la fatigue, des membres douloureux, frissons et frissons de fièvre. Pour contrôler au mieux l'évolution de la maladie, il faut mesurer la température 2 à 3 fois par jour toutes les 4 à 6 heures. La mesure doit toujours être effectuée au même endroit du corps et dans le même lieu. S’il faut mesurer la fièvre plusieurs jours de suite, cela doit toujours se faire approximativement à la même heure, afin que les résultats soient comparables.

Mesurer la fièvre, rapidement et sans erreur !

Le ThermoDock système de thermomètre à infrarouge MEDISANA

permet une mesure précise, sans contact (à env. 5 cm de distance) de la température corporelle. La mesure s’effectue sur le sourcil, au passage entre le front et la tempe. La valeur de l’énergie qui y est diffusée est mesurée et transformée en une valeur de température. Le résultat de la mesure s’affiche au bout d’env. 2 secondes à l’écran de l’appareil Apple raccordé. Cela permet par exemple de prendre la température de bébés sans les déranger pendant leur sommeil.

Température d’un objet avec le mode direct

Outre la mesure de la température corporelle, le

ThermoDock

de MEDISANA

peut également être utilisé pour mesurer la température d’un objet (p. ex. la température ambiante, les liquides, les surfaces). Avec cette fonction, la plage de mesure est de 0 à 100 °Celsius. En mode direct, il est possible de mesurer la température de différents objets. La température, actualisée en permanence, est représentée par une courbe. La dernière température mesurée est affichée lorsque vous quittez le mode direct.

Le système de mesure ThermoDock a été conçu de telle sorte que vous pouvez l’utiliser simplement, régulièrement et partout. Le système de mesure est prévu pour le contrôle actif de la température des personnes, dans le cadre d’une utilisation personnelle.

Votre système de mesure de la température MEDISANA ThermoDock est constitué de deux composants, le

module de mesure à infrarouge de la température ThermoDock et le logiciel VitaDock (application). Ces composants sont spécialement conçus pour être utilisés ensemble et leur qualité a été testée afin de garantir des résultats exacts. Seule une utilisation correcte du système peut garantir des résultats exacts. Grâce au logiciel VitaDock (application), les données générées par le module ThermoDock sont transmises à l’appareil Apple raccordé. L’application VitaDock permet à l’utilisateur d’enregistrer, de représenter et d’analyser les données de mesure. Il est en outre possible de transmettre les données de mesure à d’autres personnes par e-mail.

4.1 Installation du logiciel VitaDock

Avec VitaDock, MEDISANA révolutionne la santé mobile.

VitaDock

App, l’application logicielle centrale de

représentation et d’analyse de valeurs concernant les fonctions corporelles vitales et la santé, comprend des logiciels pour :

- le module de thermomètre à infrarouge

ThermoDock

- le module de mesure de la tension et des pulsations

CardioDock

- le module de mesure de la glycémie GlucoDock

- la balance à impédancemètre TargetScale

La disponibilité de toutes les fonctions des logiciels CardioDock, GlucoDock et TargetScale est garantie uniquement dans le cadre de l’utilisation des modules et de la balance correspondants. Le fonctionnement de votre nouveau module de thermomètre à infrarouge ThermoDock pour iPod touch et iPhone nécessite l’installation de l’application gratuite VitaDock. Vous pouvez télécharger et installer cette dernière grâce à l’App Store d’Apple. Pour télécharger le logiciel, vous avez besoin d’une Apple-ID avec une adresse e-mail et un identifiant ainsi que d’une connexion Internet activée. Le téléchargement du logiciel peut éventuellement occasionner des frais auprès de votre prestataire.

• Pour rechercher l’application VitaDock dans l’App Store,

utilisez le terme de recherche « VitaDock ».

• Si le logiciel a été correctement installé, le nouveau

symbole « VitaDock » apparaît sur votre appareil.

Avant la première mise en service

Vérifiez le réglage de l’heure et de la date de votre iPod touch ou iPhone. L’heure et la dat esont importantes pour l’évaluation des résultats de mesure. Démarrez ThermoDock en tapant du doigt sur le symbole . L’écran affiche brièvement l’image de démarrage « Vita

Dock » et vous demande ensuite

auto-matiquement

vos données personnelles.

Vous pouvez créer 4 profils d’utilisateurs dans VitaDock.

Dans le premier profil utilisateur, vous pouvez saisir vos données personnelles. En tapant du doigt sur le champ de texte correspondant, un clavier vous permettant d’éditer les données s’ouvre à l’écran.

Il est également possible d’activer un mot de passe pour l’utilisation de l’application VitaDock.

Pour ce faire, tapez le mot « Mot de passe » dans le champ de texte et définissez un mot de passe. Le système vous demande de l’indiquer de nouveau pour vérification. Si vous avez activé la fonction mot de passe, vous devez indiquer le mot de passe lorsque vous redémarrez l’application. Pour des informations complémentaires, consultez la page 28-29.

Tapez du doigt sur le symbole « ThermoDock »

Sélectionnez : Unité de mesure de la température, Celsius ou Fahrenheit. Vous pouvez utiliser des valeurs standard ou des valeurs définies par vous-même pour la valeur visée de température. Les valeurs standard sont : 36,0 - 37,5 °C (96,8 à 99,5 °F).

Sauvegardez votre saisie.

Une fois que vos données sont enregistrées, vous accédez à l’univers VitaDock.

• Adaptation de l’appareil à la température

ambiante :

Afin de pouvoir effectuer une mesure exacte de la température corporelle, le ThermoDock

doit s’adap-

ter à la température ambiante. Cela a

lieu automatiquement. Le ThermoDock a cependant besoin d’un certain temps pour adapter sa propre température à la température ambiante. Celui-ci dépend de la différence entre les deux températures et peut durer jusqu’à plus de 30

minutes. Il n’est possible d’obtenir des résultats précis que lorsque ce processus d’adaptation de la température est terminé.

• Ne retirez pas le thermomètre de la partie du corps avant d’avoir entendu un bip confirmant la fin de la mesure.

• Si le capteur est sali pendant ou après une mesure, nettoyez-le avec un coton-tige trempé dans de l’alcool à 90° avant de ranger le thermomètre.

• Mesurez la température toujours dans le même lieu, car le résultat se modifie selon l’environnement.

• Dans les cas suivants, il est recommandé d’effectuer une mesure de contrôle avec un thermomètre médical traditionnel :

– Quand le résultat de la mesure est

étonnamment bas,

– Pour les nouveaux-nés dans les 100 premiers

5.2 Mesure de la température corporelle

Afin d’éviter d’être gêné par un appel ou un SMS pendant une mesure, il est conseillé de mettre votre iPhone en mode avion.

Vous pouvez activer le mode de mesure

du ThermoDock de deux

manières :

Plug & Play :

L’appareil

Apple allumé, enficher le module ThermoDock

. Sélectionnez le profil d’utilisateur et indiquez le mot de passe, le cas échéant. L’application VitaDock démarre automatiquement en mode de mesure de la température.

b) Démarrage manuel :

Démarrez l’application VitaDock. Sélectionnez le profil d’utilisateur et indiquez le mot de passe, le cas échéant. L’univers VitaDock apparaît.

2. Dès que le système

ThermoDock est activé, une DEL bleue s’allume sur le ThermoDock.

3. La mesure de la température

commence dès que la touche « Start » de l’écran a été effleurée, un signal retentit en même temps. Dès que la touche « Start » a été effleurée, placez le ThermoDock à une distance de 5 cm environ du milieu du front à la tempe. Le module capte la température au niveau du front ou de la tempe et la convertit en une valeur de mesure.

4. Un signal retentit lorsque la

mesure est terminée. Au bout d’environ 2 secondes, la valeur de mesure apparaît à l’écran.

Affichage « bon » et coloration verte : la valeur de mesure est dans la plage cible (voir « Réglages ThermoDock »).

Affichage « élevé » et coloration rouge : la valeur de mesure est au-dessus de la plage cible.

Affichage « bas » et coloration bleue : la valeur de mesure est en dessous de la plage cible.

Tapez du doigt sur le champ « Remarques » pour ouvrir le champ de saisie des remarques concernant la mesure.

5.3 Mesure de la température d’un objet avec le mode direct

Grâce au mode direct, il est possible de mesurer la température de différents objets.

Tapez du doigt sur le symbole du mode direct . Démarrez la mesure et maintenez le ThermoDock à une distance d’environ 5 cm des objets.

La dernière température mesurée est affichée lorsque vous quittez le mode direct.

Le cours de la température est représenté par une courbe.

5.4 Consultation des résultats du test

- Statistiques

Vous pouvez à tout moment afficher les résultats de vos tests sans connecter le ThermoDock. En effleurant les symboles Statistiques ou Journal, vous appelez les résultats des tests du profil actif de l’utilisateur.

Statistiques

En effleurant le symbole STATISTIQUES, vous affichez les résultats des tests des 3 derniers jours pour le profil actif de l’utilisateur.

Tournez votre appareil de 90° et tapez du doigt sur le champ correspondant pour accéder aux autres résultats des tests :

1 jour, 1 semaine, 1, 3, 6 mois, 1 an ou Global.

En déplaçant l’affichage de l’écran vers la gauche, vous pouvez afficher la vue d’ensemble : humeur et activité.

En tapant du doigt sur les flèches, vous accédez au mois précédent ou suivant.

En déplaçant l’affichage de l’écran vers le haut ou le bas, vous pouvez consulter chacun des jours du mois.

Tapez du doigt sur « Envoyer un rapport » pour envoyer les données par e-mail.

5.6 Export des données de température

Vous avez la possibilité d’envoyer les rapports mensuels du profil de l’utilisateur actif par e-mail p. ex. à votre médecin. Afin d’envoyer des rapports et de créer des adresses e-mail merci de consulter le mode d'emploi de votre iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad.

Lorsque l’écran ThermoDock s’affiche, tapez du doigt sur le symbole et déplacez l’écran vers « Réglages globaux ».

Vous avez la possibilité de créer jusqu’à 3 autres profils d’utilisateurs dans l’application VitaDock.

Pour ce faire, vous

Tapez du doigt sur le symbole des réglages personnels et déconnectezvous du profil d’utilisateur actuel en tapant du doigt sur « Déconnecter ».

Dès que vous vous êtes déconnecté de votre profil d’utilisateur, vous pouvez créer un autre profil d’utilisateur sur l’écran suivant. Pour ce faire, tapez du doigt sur le champ « Nouveau profil d’utilisateur » situé en bas.

Vous pouvez ensuite créer un autre profil d’utilisateur.

Redémarrez l’application VitaDock ou fermez votre profil d’utilisateur. Tapez du doigt sur « Editer ». À droite, à côté du profil d’utilisateur, vous avez la possibilité de supprimer le profil. Tapez du doigt sur « Supprimer » pour supprimer le profil d’utilisateur.

Le profil d’utilisateur supprimé est indiqué sur fond gris. Pendant un intervalle de temps de 14 jours, vous avez la possibilité de réactiver le profil d’utilisateur en tapant du doigt dessus. Au bout de 14 jours, le profil d’utilisateur est automatiquement supprimé définitivement de l’application.

ATTENTION !

Le profil d’utilisateur, toutes les valeurs de mesure et indications sont définitivement supprimés. Il n’est plus possible de les restaurer.

La température mesurée est trop élevée. Le symbole „éleve.“ s’affiche à l’écran lorsque le résultat de la mesure est supérieur à 42,2 °C (mode corps) ou à 100 °C (mode objet). La bulle est colorée en rouge.

La température mesurée est trop faible. Le symbole „bas“ s’affiche à l’écran lorsque le résultat de la mesure est inférieur à 34 °C (mode corps) ou à 0 °C (mode objet). La bulle est colorée en bleu.

La température ambiante est trop élevée. La température ambiante est supérieure à 40 °C (mode objet).

La température ambiante est trop faible. La température ambiante est inférieure à : 16 °C (mode corps) ou 5 °C (mode objet).

Enfichez de nouveau le module. Si le message d’erreur réapparaît, contactez le service après-vente.

Rechargez la batterie au plus tard lorsque que sa capacité est inférieure à 20 %.
