zur Stromversorgung

•

Bevor Sie das Gerät an Ihre Stromversorgung anschließen, achten Sie darauf
dass die auf dem Typenschild angegebene Netzspannung mit der Ihres
Stromnetzes übereinstimmt.

• Betreiben Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe von hochfrequenten elektromag­netischen Sendern.

•

Halten Sie das Netzkabel und das Gerät von Hitze, hei ßen Oberflächen,
Feuchtigkeit und Flüssigkeiten fern. Fassen Sie den Netzstecker oder den
Netzschalter niemals mit nassen bzw. feuchten Händen an oder wenn Sie im
Wasser stehen.

•

Elektrische Spannung führende Teile des Gerätes dürfen nicht mit Flüssigkeit
in Berührung kommen.

•

Greifen Sie nicht nach einem Gerät, das ins Wasser gefallen ist. Ziehen Sie
sofort den Netzstecker.

•

Das Gerät muss so angeschlossen werden, dass der Netzstecker frei zugäng­lich ist.

•

Ziehen Sie immer sofort nach der Benutzung den Netzstecker aus der Steck­dose.

•

Um das Gerät vom Stromnetz zu trennen, ziehen Sie niemals am Netzkabel,
sondern immer am Netzstecker!

Das Gerät hat eine heiße Oberfläche. Personen, die gegen Hitze unempfind­lich sind, müssen beim Gebrauch vorsichtig sein.

•

Sollten Sie Schmerzen verspüren oder die Massage als unangenehm emp­finden, brechen Sie die Anwendung ab und sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt.

Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht, wenn Beschädigungen an Gerät oder Kabel­teilen sichtbar sind, wenn es nicht einwandfrei funktioniert, wenn Kissen oder
Steuergerät heruntergefallen oder feucht geworden sind. Um Gefährdungen zu
vermeiden, senden Sie das Gerät zur Reparatur an die Servicestelle.

nachstehenden Hinweise zum Gebrauch und zur Pflege sorgfältig zu lesen.

Bitte prüfen Sie zunächst, ob das Gerät vollständig ist und keinerlei Beschä­digung aufweist. Im Zweifelsfalle nehmen Sie das Gerät nicht in Betrieb und
wenden Sie sich an Ihren Händler oder an Ihre Servicestelle.

zurückgeführt werden. Bitte entsorgen Sie nicht mehr benötigtes Ver­packungsmaterial ordnungsgemäß. Sollten Sie beim Auspacken einen Trans­portschaden bemerken, setzen Sie sich bitte sofort mit Ihrem Händler in

Mit Ihrem MEDISANA Shiatsu-Massagekissen SMC verfügen Sie über ein
modernes Gerät für echte Shiatsu-Massage im Nacken und Rückenbereich.
Daneben eignet es sich auch für die Massage an Füßen und Beinen.
Das MEDISANA Shiatsu-Massagekissen SMC verfügt über vier rotierende
Massageköpfe
Paar, auf einer kreisenden Platte angeordnet, nach links dreht, dreht sich das
rechte, ebenfalls auf einer kreisenden Platte angeordnet, nach rechts. Bei Dreh­richtungsumkehr wechseln die Drehrichtungen der beiden Massageköpfe.
Zusätzlich ist das Gerät mit einer zuschaltbaren Wärmefunktion in den Massa­geköpfen ausgestattet. Die Kombination aus intensiver Shiatsu-Massage und

3 Anwendung

Die Anwendung des Shiatsu-Massagekissens SMC fördert das Wohlbefinden
nach einem anstrengenden Tag. Der Massage-Effekt erweist sich besonders
hilfreich bei der Behandlung verkrampfter Muskulatur und müdem Gewebe.
Bei der Bewältigung von Alltagsstress bietet Ihnen das Gerät zusätzlich ange­nehme Entspannung. Die Massagen unterstützen Sie sowohl bei Ihrem Einsatz
für Wohlbefinden als auch bei Sport und Fitness.

Inbetriebnahme

Das Shiatsu-Massagekissen SMC hat zwei Funktionen für eine gezielte Mas­sagebehandlung, Fingerdruckmassage und Wärme. Die Wärmefunktion kann
nur zusammen mit der Shiatsu-Massage genutzt werden.

•

Platzieren Sie das Shiatsu-Massagekissen an der Lehne eines hohen
Stuhls und befestigen Sie sie mit dem Haltegurt an der Rückseite.

•

Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in die Netzsteckdose. Achten Sie darauf, dass
diese gut zugänglich bleibt.

•

Setzen Sie sich auf den Stuhl und prüfen Sie, ob sich das Kissen in der von
Ihnen gewünschten Position befindet.

• Das Massagekissen bedienen Sie mit den Tasten am Steuergerät .

Wenden Sie das Gerät in Dauer nicht länger als 15 Minuten an. Nach ca. 15
Minuten schaltet das Gerät automatisch aus. Lassen Sie das Gerät stets erst
völlig abkühlen, bevor Sie es wieder verwenden.

Einschalten und Bedienung des Gerätes

Schalten Sie das Gerät ein, indem Sie die Power-Taste

Drücken Sie die Forward-Taste , um die Massage-Funktion mit Drehung
nach außen einzuschalten. Die blaue Forward-LED leuchtet. Wenn Sie die

Forward-LED erlischt, dafür leuchtet jetzt die Reverse-LED blau. Die Mas­sagefunktion wird abgeschaltet, indem Sie die zuletzt betätigte Taste (

Bitte wenden Sie sich im Garantiefall an Ihr Fachgeschäft oder direkt an die
Servicestelle. Sollten Sie das Gerät einschicken müssen, geben Sie bitte den
Defekt an und legen eine Kopie der Kaufquittung bei.

Es gelten dabei die folgenden Garantiebedingungen:

1. Auf MEDISANA Produkte wird ab Verkaufsdatum eine Garantie für drei

Shiatsu is a form of finger pressure massage and one of the most important
massaging techniques along with manual lymphatic drainage and reflexology.
This form of massage was developed in Japan but stems from traditional Chinese
massage. Gentle stroking and beneficial pressure application techniques are used
to awaken life forces and encourage them to flow through the body. The object
of the massage is not just to ease tension, but also to optimise the flow of life
force and harmonise body and soul.

Your MEDISANA SMC shiatsu massage cushion is a state-of-the-art device for
genuine shiatsu-style neck and back massages. It is also suitable for massaging
your feet and legs.
The MEDISANA SMC shiatsu massage cushion has four rotating heads
which rotate in opposite pairs. While the left pair, arranged on a rotating plate,
turn anticlockwise, the right pair, also arranged on a rotating plate, turn
clockwise. When the direction of rotation is reversed, the two massage heads
turn in the opposite direction. The device is also equipped with an optional
heating function for the massage heads. The combination of intensive shiatsu
massage and radiated heat makes the massage cushion an effective and relaxing
treatment. Their settings can be comfortably adjusted by means of the easy­to-handle control unit

The use of the Shiatsu massage cushion SMC will improve your wellbeing after
a stressful day. The massage effect is particularly useful for treating tense
muscles and tired tissue. The unit provides pleasant relaxation for overcoming
everyday stress. The massaging can improve your well-being, and is also useful
in the sport and fitness areas.

Start-up

The SMC shiatsu massage cushion has two functions for effective treatment:
fingertip massage and heat. The heat function can only be used in combination
with the shiatsu massage.

•

Place the shiatsu massage cushion on the back of a high-backed chair and
fasten it to the back with the strap.

•

Insert plug into the mains socket. Ensure that the power supply is easily
accessible.

•

Sit on the chair and check that the cushion is in the position you want.

• Use the buttons on the control unit to operate the massage cushion.

Do not use the unit for more than 15 minutes at a time. After approx. 15 minu­tes, the unit will switch off automatically. Always allow the unit to cool down
fully before you use it again.

the mains. Clean the unit once it has cooled down using a soft, damp cloth.

Under no circumstances should you use aggressive detergents, strong

repair terms

5 Warranty

Please contact your dealer or the service centre in case of a claim under the
warranty. If you have to return the unit, please enclose a copy of your receipt
and state what the defect is.

The following warranty terms apply:

1. The warranty period for MEDISANA products is three years from date of
purchase. In case of a warranty claim, the date of purchase has to be
proven by means of the sales receipt or invoice.

2. Defects in material or workmanship will be removed free of charge within
the warranty period.

3. Repairs under warranty do not extend the warranty period either for the
unit or for the replacement parts.

4. The following is excluded under the warranty:
a. All damage which has arisen due to improper treatment, e.g. non-

observance of the user instructions.

b. All damage which is due to repairs or tampering by the customer or

unauthorised third parties.

1 Consignes de sécurité

avant la mise en marche de l’appareil

Vérifiez soigneusement avant chaque utilisation l’état de câble, de l’appareil
de commande et du coussin de massage. N’utilisez pas l’appareil s’il est
défectueux.

• N’utilisez pas l’appareil en cas de dommages visibles sur l’appareil ou le câble,
si l’appareil ne fonctionne pas correctement, si le coussin ou l’appareil de
commande sont tombés ou s’ils sont humides. Pour éviter tout risque, en­voyez dans ce cas l’appareil au service clientèle pour le faire réparer.

pour la mise en marche de l’appareil

• Utilisez l’appareil uniquement comme indiqué dans la notice.

• Toute autre utilisation annule les droits à la garantie.

Le shiatsu, une des grandes techniques de massage comme le drainage
lymphatique et la réflexologie, utilise la pression des doigts. Cette forme de
massage développée au Japon provient de la médecine traditionnelle chinoise.
Des contacts doux et des pressions bénéfiques réveillent et libèrent les flux
d’énergie vitale. L’objectif du massage est d’éliminer les contractions ainsi que
d’harmoniser le corps et l’esprit par l’harmonisation des flux d’énergie vitale.

Avec votre coussin de massage Shiatsu MEDISANA SMC, vous disposez d’un
appareil moderne de massage Shiatsu pour la nuque et le dos. Il convient
également pour le massage des pieds et des jambes.
Le coussin de massage MEDISANA SMC dispose de quatre têtes de massage
rotatives , dont chaque paire effectue des rotations opposées. Tandis que la
paire de gauche, située sur une plaque rotative, effectue des rotations vers la
gauche, la paire de droite, également située sur une plaque rotative, effectue des
rotations vers la droite. En cas d’inversion du sens de rotation, le sens de rotation
des deux têtes de massage changent. L’appareil est en outre équipé d’une
fonction chauffage activable en option pour les têtes de massage. En combinant
un massage Shiatsu intense et la diffusion de chaleur, le coussin de massage
permet une utilisation efficace et relaxante. Les réglages se font aisément grâce
à l’appareil maniable de commande
