Vielen Dank für Ihr Vertrauen und herzlichen Glückwunsch! Mit dem Rollenmassage-Kissen RBM haben Sie ein Qualitätsprodukt von MEDISANA erworben.

Dieses Gerät ist für die Massage im Rücken- und Oberschenkelbereich bestimmt.

Damit Sie den gewünschten Erfolg erzielen und recht lange Freude an Ihrem MEDISANA Rollenmassage-Kissen RBM haben, empfehlen wir Ihnen, die nachstehenden Hinweise zum Gebrauch und zur Pflege sorgfältig zu lesen.

Lesen Sie die folgenden Sicherheitshinweise sorgfältig durch, bevor Sie das Gerät einsetzen und bewahren Sie die Gebrauchsanweisung für die weitere Nutzung auf.

•

Bevor Sie den Netzadapter an Ihre Stromversorgung anschließen, achten Sie darauf, dass die auf dem Typenschild angegebene elektrische Spannung mit der Ihres Stromnetzes übereinstimmt.

• Schließen Sie den Netzadapter nur bei ausgeschaltetem Gerät an.

• Betreiben Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe von hochfrequenten elektromagnetischen Sendern.

•

Halten Sie das Netzkabel und das Gerät von Hitze, hei ßen Oberflächen, Feuchtigkeit und Flüssigkeiten fern. Fassen Sie den Netzstecker oder den Netzschalter niemals mit nassen bzw. feuchten Händen an oder wenn Sie im Wasser stehen.

•

Elektrische Spannung führende Teile des Gerätes dürfen nicht mit Flüssigkeit in Berührung kommen.

•

Greifen Sie nicht nach einem Gerät, das ins Wasser gefallen ist. Ziehen Sie sofort den Netzstecker.

•

Das Gerät muss so angeschlossen werden, dass der Netzstecker frei zugänglich ist.

•

Ziehen Sie immer sofort nach der Benutzung den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose.

•

Um das Gerät vom Stromnetz zu trennen, ziehen Sie niemals am Netzkabel, sondern immer am Netzstecker!

•

Tragen, ziehen oder drehen Sie das Gerät nicht am Netzkabel.

•

Besondere Sorgfalt ist notwendig, wenn das Gerät an, von oder in der Nähe von Kindern, Kranken und hilflosen Personen verwendet wird.

•

Lassen Sie das Gerät nicht unbeaufsichtigt, wenn es ans Stromnetz angeschlossen ist.

•

Lassen Sie nicht zu, dass das Gerät von Kindern als Spielzeug benutzt wird. Es muss für Kinder unzugänglich aufbewahrt werden.

•

Lassen Sie Kinder nie mit den Verpackungsfolien spielen, es besteht Erstickungsgefahr!

Benutzen Sie dieses Gerät nicht zur Unterstützung oder als Ersatz für medizinische Anwendungen. Chronische Leiden und Symptome könnten sich noch verschlechtern.

Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht, wenn Sie empfindliche Haut oder Herz-/Kreislaufprobleme, Kopfschmerzen oder hohen Blutdruck haben.

•

Für Schwangere gelten persönliche Belastungsgrenzen.

•

Fragen Sie Ihren Arzt, wenn Sie therapeutische Fragen zur Anwendung des Massagekissens haben.

•

Bei ungeklärten Schmerzen, wenn Sie sich in ärtzlicher Behandlung befinden und/oder medizinische Geräte benutzen, konsultieren Sie vor Benutzung des Massagekissens Ihren Arzt.

•

Überprüfen Sie Netzteil, Kabel, Steuergerät und Massagekissen vor jeder Anwendung sorgfältig auf Schäden. Ein defektes Gerät darf nicht in Betrieb genommen werden.

•

Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht, wenn Beschädigungen an Gerät oder Kabelteilen sichtbar sind, wenn es nicht einwandfrei funktioniert, wenn Sitz, Steuergerät oder Netzteil heruntergefallen oder feucht geworden sind. Um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden, senden Sie das Gerät zur Reparatur an die Servicestelle.

Benutzen Sie das Gerät nur entsprechend seiner Bestimmung laut Gebrauchsanweisung.

Das MEDISANA Rollenmassage-Kissen RBM bietet zwei verschiedene Mas- sagetechniken, im Sitz die Vibrationsmassage und im Rücken die Knetmassage mittels Rollentechnik. Durch zwei Motoren in der Sitzfläche wird der Sitz mit hoher Frequenz in Schwingungen versetzt, so dass eine Vibrationsbewegung entsteht, die auf die Oberschenkel übertragen wird. Dabei können Sie zwischen zwei Massageintensitäten (Lo niedrig /Hi hoch) und normaler, gleichbleibender oder pulsierender Vibrationsmassagetätigkeit (Normal gleichbleibend/Pulse pulsierend) wählen. Massage is one of the oldest methods of treatment and an important part of physiotherapy. The mechanical treatment of the outer tissues of the body relaxes tense muscles, improves blood circulation and supports the regeneration of tissues. Massage may also positively effect the vascular system, the inner organs and metabolism. There are six classic methods of massage: stroke massage, kneading, tapping, vibrating and roll massage as well as rubbing and slapping. Furthermore, there are other important massage techniques such as manual lymphatic drainage, reflexology, underwater pressure massage, brush massage and finger pressure massage techniques (shiatsu, acupressure).

The MEDISANA roll massage cushion RBM offers two different massage techniques, vibrating massage in the seat and kneading massage by means of roller technology. Two motors in the seat cause it to oscillate at a high frequency, resulting in a vibrating motion that is transferred to the upper thigh. You have the option of choosing between two massage intensities (Lo low / Hi high) and between a normal, i.e. constant, or pulsating vibrating massage (Normal constant / Pulse pulsating). Alternatively or at the same time, you can switch on the kneading massage function that operates by means of roller technology, with or without additional heat treatment from the back area of the massage cushion. Here four anatomically arranged spherical rollers work the musculature in the areas of the neck, shoulder, back and midriff in a gentle way. Through the even up and down movements of the rollers, the muscles are massaged in a beneficial way. Switching on the heat function accelerates and reinforces the positive massage effect. The heat is emitted via the two side wings in the back section. The unique combination of intensive vibrating massage, kneading massage and heat radiation makes the application of the roll massage cushion effective and relaxing. The individual functions can be used in any combination. Their settings can be comfortably adjusted by means of the easy-to-handle control unit . You can enjoy your massages any time you are sitting. Simply place the roll massage cushion RBM over a chair or armchair with a high backrest, using the practical fasteners on the back of the cushion. The neck support cushion provides extra comfort, and the control unit , when not being used, can be safely stored in the control unit pocket .

Start-up

• Place the roll massage cushion on a high chair or armchair and attach it to this by means of the fasteners on the back.

Connect the cable of the power supply unit to the power supply connector on the roll massage cushion.

Insert the plug of the power supply into the power socket. Ensure that the power supply is easily accessible. Never use another mains adapter!

Now sit on the roll massage cushion and familiarise yourself with the controls.

Operating the unit

The roll massage cushion RBM has three functions for a specific massage treatment: vibrating massage, kneading massage by means of roller technology, and heat. Each of these functions can be used individually or in combination with the others. Do not use the unit for more than 15 minutes at a time. After 15 minutes, the unit will switch off automatically. The unit is fitted with an overheat cut-off, which also switches the unit off automatically if there is any risk of it overheating. Always allow the unit to cool down fully before you use it again. Turn off the unit every time you use it and unplug the power supply unit .

Disconnect the mains adapter from the socket before cleaning the unit.

Only clean the roll massage cushion with a soft cloth slightly dampened with a mild detergent (e.g. soap suds). Under no circumstances should you use aggressive detergents, strong brushes, solvents or alcohol.

5 Warranty

Please contact your dealer or the service centre in case of a claim under the warranty. If you have to send in the unit, please enclose a copy of your receipt and state what the defect is.

The following warranty terms apply:

1. The warranty period for MEDISANA products is three years from date of purchase. In case of a warranty claim, the date of purchase has to be proven by means of the sales receipt or invoice.

2. Defects in material or workmanship will be removed free of charge within the warranty period.

3. Repairs under warranty do not extend the warranty period either for the unit or for the replacement parts.

4. The following is excluded under the warranty: a. All damage which has arisen due to improper treatment, e.g.

non-observance of the user instructions.

b. All damage which is due to repairs or tampering by the customer or

unauthorised third parties.

c. Damage which has arisen during transport from the manufacturer

to the consumer or during transport to the service centre.

d. Accessories which are subject to normal wear and tear.

5. Liability for direct or indirect consequential losses caused by the unit

are excluded even if the damage to the unit is accepted as a warranty claim.

Afin d’obtenir les résultats escomptés et de profiter longtemps de votre coussin de massage à rouleaux RBM MEDISANA, nous vous recommandons de lire attentivement les instructions suivantes relatives à l’utilisation et à l’entretien.

Veuillez lire attentivement les consignes de sécurité suivantes avant d'utiliser l’appareil et conservez le mode d'emploi pour toute utilisation ultérieure.

• Avant de brancher l’appareil sur votre alimentation en courant, veillez à ce qu’il soit éteint et à ce que la tension électrique indiquée sur la plaquette signalétique corresponde à celle de votre réseau électrique.

• Branchez l’adaptateur uniquement lorsque l’appareil est à l’arrêt.

• N’utilisez pas l’appareil à proximité d’émetteurs électromagnétiques à haute fréquence.

• Maintenez le câble d’alimentation et l’appareil loin de toute source de chaleur, surface chaude, source d’humidité et de tout liquide. Ne touchez jamais à la fiche secteur ou à l’interrupteur d’alimentation avec des mains mouillées ou humides ou lorsque vous êtes dans l’eau.

Le massage est une des plus anciennes méthodes thérapeutiques et un composant important de la physiothérapie. Le traitement mécanique des couches extérieures du corps assouplit les muscles crispés, améliore la circulation sanguine et stimule la régénération des tissus. Les effets positifs sur le système vasculaire, les organes internes et le métabolisme constituent un autre résultat du massage. On distingue 6 méthodes de massage classiques : effleurage, pétrissage, tapotement, vibration, rouleaux ainsi que friction et battages. Il existe en outre d’importantes techniques de massage telles que le drainage lymphatique manuel, le massage des zones réflexes, le massage sous l’eau par jet d’eau sous pression, le massage à la brosse et le massage par pression des doigts (shiatsu, accupression).

Le coussin de massage à rouleaux RBM MEDISANA offre deux techniques de massage différentes : le massage à vibrations au niveau du siège et le pétrissage par technique à rouleaux dans le dos. Deux moteurs placés dans le siège génèrent des oscillations à haute fréquence de manière à créer un mouvement de vibration qui va se reporter sur les cuisses. Vous avez le choix entre deux intensités de massage (Lo faible/ Hi élevée) et un massage à vibrations régulier ou à impulsions (Normal régulier/Pulse impulsions). Il est aussi possible d’utiliser alternativement ou simultanément le pétrissage par technique à rouleaux dans le dos du coussin, avec ou sans chaleur supplémentaire. La musculature est alors stimulée en douceur au niveau de la nuque, des épaules, du dos et de la taille par quatre rouleaux à billes disposés de manière anatomique. Le mouvement régulier des rouleaux vers le haut et vers le bas masse les muscles de manière bienfaisante. La fonction de chaleur commutable accélère et renforce l’effet bienfaisant du massage. La chaleur est émise par les deux ailes latérales qui se trouvent au niveau du dos. Mise en service

Placez le coussin de massage sur une chaise haute ou un fauteuil et fixez-le avec les sangles au dos.

Raccordez la ligne du bloc d’alimentation à la prise pour bloc d’alimentation sur le coussin de massage.

Branchez la fiche du bloc d’alimentation dans la prise de courant. Veillez à ce qu’elle soit bien accessible. N’utilisez jamais un autre bloc d’alimentation.

Asseyez-vous alors sur le coussin de massage et familiarisez-vous avec son utilisation.

Utilisation de l’appareil

Le coussin de massage à rouleaux RBM dispose de trois fonctions pour un massage ciblé à vibrations, par pétrissage à rouleaux et chaleur. Chacune de ces fonctions peut être utilisée seule ou en combinaison avec les autres. N’utilisez pas l’appareil plus de 15 minutes. L’appareil s’éteint automatiquement au bout de 15 minutes. L’appareil est équipé d’une protection contre les surchauffes qui l’éteint aussi automatiquement en cas de risque de surchauffe. Laissez toujours l’appareil refroidir complètement avant de le réutiliser. Éteignez l’appareil après chaque utilisation et débranchez le bloc d’alimentation de la prise.
