MEDISANA erworben. Dieses Gerät ist zum Wiegen von Personen bestimmt.
Damit Sie den gewünschten Erfolg erzielen und recht lange Freude an Ihrer
Solar-Personenwaage PSS haben, empfehlen wir Ihnen, die nach­stehenden Hinweise zum Gebrauch und zur Pflege sorgfältig zu lesen.

Bitte prüfen Sie zunächst, ob das Gerät vollständig ist und keinerlei Beschä­digung aufweist. Im Zweifelsfalle benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht.

Verpackungen sind wiederverwendbar oder können in den Rohstoffkreislauf
zurückgeführt werden. Bitte entsorgen Sie nicht mehr benötigtes Verpa­ckungsmaterial ordnungsgemäß. Sollten Sie beim Auspacken einen Trans­portschaden bemerken, setzen Sie sich bitte sofort mit Ihrem Händler in
Verbindung.

WARNUNG

Achten Sie darauf, dass die Verpackungsfolien nicht in die
Hände von Kindern gelangen. Es besteht Erstickungsgefahr!

Zuverlässige Messergebnisse sind nur unter bestimmten Voraus­setzungen zu erreichen:

Wiegen Sie sich stets unter den gleichen Bedingungen.

•

Messen Sie jeweils zur gleichen Tageszeit.

•

Stehen Sie aufrecht und ruhig.

•

Führen Sie die Messung am besten morgens, nach dem Duschen oder

•

Baden, mit trockenen Füßen durch.

Mit den Messergebnissen ist, bei konsequenter Durchführung, eine zuver­lässige Kontrolle der Entwicklung des Körpergewichtes möglich.

Solarbetrieb

Diese Waage ist solarbetrieben und benötigt zur korrekten Funktion
ausreichende Helligkeit.

Platzieren Sie die Waage auf ebenem, festen
Untergrund so, dass sie direkt einer Lichtquelle
ausgesetzt ist (siehe Abb.).
Vor der ersten Benutzung müssen sich die
Solarzellen mindestens 10 Minuten aufladen.
Ist die Spannungsversorgung durch die Solarzellen
ungenügend, erscheint “ ” auf dem Display.
In diesem Fall stellen Sie die Waage bitte an einen
helleren Ort. Ist der Aufstellort nicht hell genug,
kann es sein, dass nicht einmal “ ” oder “ ”
angezeigt wird.
Eine konstante Betriebsbereitschaft ist an Orten
mit mind. ca. 100 LUX gegeben, dies entspricht
etwa einer normalen Zimmerbeleuchtung.

1. Stellen Sie die Waage auf einen stabilen und festen Untergrund. Alle vier

Füße müssen Bodenkontakt haben. Unebener und weicher Boden beein­trächtigt die Messgenauigkeit.

2. Wiegen Sie sich immer auf der selben Waage, am selben Ort und zur

gleichen Zeit. Wiegen Sie sich ohne Bekleidung, vor Mahlzeiten, am
Besten morgens vor dem Frühstück.

3. Stellen Sie sich mit beiden Füßen auf die Waage, es erscheint “ ”.0.0 kg

Während Ihr Gewicht ermittelt wird, verändern sich die Werte. Wenn sich
das Gewicht stabilisiert hat, blinkt die Anzeige 2 mal und zeigt an­schließend das Messergebnis an. Solange Sie auf der Waage stehen,
wird Ihr Körpergewicht angezeigt. Steigen Sie von der Waage. Nach ca.
8 Sekunden erlischt die Anzeige.

HINWEIS
Falls die Waage transportiert oder bewegt wurde, müssen Sie die

Waage zunächst initialisieren. Drücken Sie hierzu mit dem Fuß
kurz auf die Mitte der Standfläche. Im Display erscheint “0.0 kg”
(oder “0.0 lb”). Warten Sie, bis sich die Waage abschaltet.
Die Waage ist nun bereit.
Wurde die Waage nicht bewegt, entfällt dieser Vorgang.

Sie können die Gewichtseinheit der Solar-Personenwaage
umschalten. Drehen Sie die Waage um und wählen Sie mittels des schwarzen
Druckknopfes die gewünschte Gewichtseinheit KG oder LB.

Die Solarzellen liefern nicht genug Energie. Stellen Sie die Waage

bitte an einen helleren Ort und warten Sie mindestens 10 Minuten,
bevor Sie die Waage erneut in Betrieb nehmen, damit die Solar­zellen aufladen können.

Die Waage ist überladen.

Verwenden Sie nie aggressive Reinigungsmittel oder starke Bürsten.
Setzen Sie einen milden Haushaltsreiniger ein und wischen Sie die
Oberflächen lediglich feucht ab.
In das Gerät darf kein Wasser eindringen. Tauchen Sie das Gerät nicht in
Wasser. Benutzen Sie das Gerät erst wieder, wenn es völlig trocken ist.
Setzen Sie das Gerät nicht der direkten Sonneneinstrahlung aus,
schützen Sie es vor Schmutz und Feuchtigkeit.

WARNING

Please ensure that polybag packing is kept away from reach of
children! Risk of suffocation!

Reliable measurements can only be achieved under certain pre­requisites:

Always weigh yourself under the same conditions.

•

Always weigh yourself at the same time of day.

•

Stand up straight and stand still.

•

Weigh yourself preferably in the morning, after showering or bathing,

•

and with dry feet.

It is possible to obtain a reliable indication of body weight development
from the results if measurements are carried out consistently.

Solar operation

This scale is solar-powered and needs an adequate level of light for
correct functionality.

Place the solar scale on a stable, firm surface while
being exposed directly to natural or room light
(see figure).
Before first use, the solar cells need to be initially
charged for at least 10 minutes.
If the solar power is not enough, the display will
show “ ”. In this case, please move the scale

to a brighter place.
If the place is not bright enough, then there is a
possibility that the scale may not even show “ ”
or “ ”.

A constant serviceability is guaranteed in places
with min. approx. 100 LUX brightness, which is
equivalent to a normal room lighting.

Error messages

1. Place the scale on a stable, firm surface. All four feet must be touching

the floor. Uneven and soft flooring affects measuring accuracy.

2. Always weigh yourself on the same scale, at the same place and at the

same time. Weigh yourself without clothing, before meals, preferably in
the morning before breakfast.

3. If you stand with both feet on the scale, “ ” appears.0.0 kg

The values change while your weight is beeing determined. When the
measurement has stabilised, the display flashes twice and then finally
your weight is displayed. As long as you stay on the scale your measured
weight is displayed. Step down from the scale. The scale switches off
automatically after 8 seconds.

NOTE

If the scale has been transported or moved, you need to initialize it
before use. Therefore tap on the surface lightly with your foot.
The display shows “0.0 kg” (or “0.0 lb”). Wait, until the scale will
switch off. The scale is now ready. If the scale has not been moved,
this procedure is not required.

You may change the unit of weight of the Solar scale .
Turn the scale over and select the unit of weight (KG or LB) by pressing
the black changeover switch .

The solar cells are not providing enough energy. Move the scale

to a brighter place and wait at least 10 minutes, before you use
the scale again, so that the solar cells can become charged.

The scale is overloaded.

Do not allow any water to get into the unit. Do not immerse the device

Do not expose the unit to direct sunlight; protect it against dirt and

moisture.

This product must not be disposed together with the domestic waste.
Hand in a no longer required unit at a municipal or commercial collection
point so that it can be disposed of in an environmentally acceptable
manner.

In accordance with our policy of continual product improvement, we
reserve the right for technical and design changes without notice.

Please contact your dealer or the service centre in case of a claim under the
warranty. If you have to return the unit, please enclose a copy of your
receipt and state what the defect is.

The following warranty terms apply:

1. The warranty period for MEDISANA products is three years from date of

purchase. In case of a warranty claim, the date of purchase has to be
proven by means of the sales receipt or invoice.

2. Defects in material or workmanship will be removed free of charge

within the warranty period.

3. Repairs under warranty do not extend the warranty period either for the

unit or for the replacement parts.

4. The following is excluded under the warranty:
a. All damage which has arisen due to improper treatment, e.g. non-

observance of the user instructions.

b. All damage which is due to repairs or tampering by the customer or

unauthorised third parties.

c. Damage which has arisen during transport from the manufacturer to

the consumer or during transport to the service centre.

d. Accessories which are subject to normal wear and tear (batteries etc.).

5. Liability for direct or indirect consequential losses caused by the unit are

excluded even if the damage to the unit is accepted as a warranty claim.

Lors de la pesée, ne vous mettez pas d’un côté ni au bord du pèse-personne.

Risque de glissade!

Ne montez jamais sur la balance avec les pieds humides.
Ne montez jamais sur la balance avec des chaussettes.

Placez la balance dans un endroit à l’abri d’une chaleur et d’une humidité

Tenez la balance à distance de l’eau.

Manipulez la balance avec précaution. Évitez les coups et les secousses.

Ne la laissez pas tomber.
Montez sur le pèse-personne avec précaution.

Fonctionne à
l'énergie solaire

Ce pèse-personne fonctionne grâce à l'énergie solaire et nécessite
une luminosité suffisante.

Placez le pèse-personne sur une surface plane et
ferme directement exposé à une source de lumière
(voir l'illustration).
Avant la première utilisation, les cellules solaires
doivent être chargées au moins 10 minutes.
Si l'alimentation des cellules solaires est insuffisante,
« » s'affiche sur l'écran. Dans ce cas, placez le
