1 Sicherheitshinweise

• Benutzen Sie das Gerät nur entsprechend seiner Bestimmung
laut Gebrauchsanweisung. Das Gerät ist nicht für den kommer­ziellen Gebrauch bestimmt. Bei Zweckentfremdung erlischt der
Garantieanspruch.

• Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern unter 18 Jahren sowie von Per­sonen mit verringerten physischen, sensorischen oder menta­len Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an Erfahrung und Wissen benutzt
werden, wenn sie beaufsichtigt oder bezüglich des sicheren
Gebrauchs des Gerätes unterwiesen wurden und die daraus
resultierenden Gefahren verstehen.

• Kinder müssen beaufsichtigt werden, um sicherzustellen, dass
sie nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.

• Im Falle von Störungen reparieren Sie das Gerät nicht selbst.
Es erlischt dann nicht nur jeglicher Garantieanspruch, sondern
es können ernsthafte Gefahren entstehen (Feuer, elektrischer
Schlag, Verletzung). Lassen Sie Reparaturen nur von autori­sierten Servicestellen durchführen.

• Das Gerät hat eine heiße Oberäche. Personen, die gegen Hit-

ze unempndlich sind, müssen beim Gebrauch des Gerätes

vorsichtig sein.

• Reinigung und Benutzer-Wartung dürfen nicht von Kindern
durchgeführt werden.

In folgenden Fällen ist der Gebrauch des Gerätes untersagt: an
Personen unter 18 Jahren, • an Tieren, • wenn eine Schwan­gerschaft vorliegt, • an Körperpartien, die Schwellungen, Ver­brennungen, Entzündungen, Hautausschläge, Wunden oder

empndliche Stellen aufweisen, • Personen, die schnell zu

Krampfadern, offene Wunden, Prellungen, Hautrisse, Venen­entzündungen oder Thrombose.

In folgenden Fällen ist der Gebrauch des Gerätes untersagt:

Wenn Sie Medikamente nehmen, welche die Empndlichkeit

gegenüber UV-Strahlung erhöhen ( z. B. Johanneskrautpräpe­rate), müssen Sie sich vor der Benutzung von einem Arzt me­dizinisch beraten lassen.

WARNUNG

Der Gebrauch des Gerätes ist untersagt untersagt bei: • Per­sonen mit einer Neigung zu Sommersprossen; • Personen mit
natürlicher roter Haarfarbe, • Personen mit ungewöhnlichen

Hautverfärbungen, Personen mit mehr als 16 Leberecken (mit

einem Durchmesser von mindestens 2 mm) auf dem Körper;

• Personen mit atypischen Leberecken (atypische Lebere­cken sind asymmetrische Leberecken mit einem Durchmesser

von mehr als 5 mm und unterschiedlicher Pigmentierung sowie
unregelmäßigen Randbereichen; wenden Sie sich im Zwei­felsfall an Ihren Arzt); • Personen, die an einem Sonnenbrand
leiden; • Personen, die bei Sonneneinstrahlung nicht ohne
Hautverbrennungen bräunen; • Personen, die bei Sonnenein­strahlung schnell unter Hautverbrennungen leiden; • Personen,
die während ihrer Kindheit häug einen schweren Sonnen­brand erlitten haben; • Personen, die unter Hautkrebs leiden
oder daran erkrankt waren oder für Hautkrebs anfällig sind;

• Personen mit einem Verwandten ersten Grades, der schon
einmal an einem Melanom (schwarzer Hautkrebs) erkrankt ist;

• Personen, die aufgrund einer Lichtempndlichkeitserkrankung

in ärztlicher und medizinischer Behandlung sind;

• Personen, die überhaupt nicht bräunen können oder nicht
bräunen können, ohne einen Sonnenbrand zu bekommen,
wenn sie der Sonne ausgesetzt sind.

• Verwenden Sie nur Leuchtmittel des vorgeschriebenen Typs. Die
Verwendung eines UV-Leuchtmittels von einem anderen Her­steller oder Typs, führt zur Erlöschung des Garantienanspruchs.

• Bevor Sie das Gerät an Ihre Stromversorgung anschließen, ach­ten Sie darauf, dass die auf dem Typenschild des Gerätes ange­gebene Netzspannung mit der Ihres Stromnetzes übereinstimmt.

• Verwenden Sie das Gerät nur in geschlossenen Räumen!

• Benutzen Sie kein elektrisches Gerät, während Sie baden oder
duschen. Lagern oder bewahren Sie kein elektrisches Gerät
an Stellen auf, von denen aus es in die Badewanne oder das
Waschbecken fallen kann.

• Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht auf nasser Haut oder wenn das
Gerät feucht geworden ist.

• Greifen Sie nicht nach einem Gerät, das ins Wasser gefallen ist.
Ziehen Sie sofort den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose.

• Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht bei Sprühnebel aus Spraydosen
oder dem gleichzeitigen Einsatz von Sauerstoff.

• Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht unter Decken oder Kissen.

• Halten Sie das Netzkabel von heißen Oberächen und offenen
Flammen fern.

• Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht, wenn das Zuleitungskabel be­schädigt ist, das Gerät nicht einwandfrei funktioniert, wenn es
herunter- oder ins Wasser gefallen war oder beschädigt worden
ist.

• Wenn das Netzkabel bzw. der Netzstecker beschädigt ist, darf
es/er nur durch MEDISANA, einen autorisierten Fachhändler
oder durch eine entsprechend qualizierte Person ersetzt wer­den.

• Tragen, ziehen oder drehen Sie das Gerät nie am Netzkabel
und klemmen oder quetschen Sie das Kabel nicht ein.

• Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker nur mit trockenen Händen aus der
Steckdose, wenn das Gerät ausgeschaltet und nicht mehr in
Gebrauch ist und auch, wenn Sie Geräteteile reinigen.

• Das Gerät darf nicht verwendet werden, wenn die Zeitschaltuhr
nicht richtig funktioniert.

WARNUNG

Verletzungsgefahr durch ultraviolettes Licht (UV-Licht)!
Direkter Blick in das UV-Licht der UV-Lampen im Gerät kann zu
Augenverletzungen und Minderung der Sehfähigkeit führen!

• Niemals direkt in das ultraviolette Licht der UV-Lampen
blicken.

• UV-Lampen bei Nichtgebrauch ausschalten.

• Nicht-Anwender und insbesondere Kinder dürfen bei dem

Betrieb des Geräts nicht anwesend sein.

• Fragen Sie Ihren Arzt bei jeder Art von Schmerzen oder Krank­heiten, bevor Sie das Gerät benutzen.

• Die Behandlung sollte angenehm sein. Spüren Sie Schmerzen

oder empnden die Anwendung als unangenehm, brechen Sie

ab und halten Sie Rücksprache mit Ihrem Arzt.

• Nach einer 10-minütigen Dauerbestrahlung der Haut ist eine
Pause von 30 Minuten einzuhalten. UV-Lampengeräte sollten
nicht öfter als 200 mal pro Jahr angewendet werden.

• UV-Strahlung kann zu einer Schädigung der Augen und der
Haut, wie Überalterung und im Extremfall sogar zu Hautkrebs
führen. Daher ist die Benutzung von Schutzbrillen dringend an­zuraten. In einigen Fällen kann UV-Strahlung eine Überemp-

ndlichkeit gegen Kosmetika verursachen.

• Entfernen Sie Kosmetik und Sonnenschutzprodukte vor der In­betriebnahme des Gerätes. Ansonsten kann es zu Hautirritati­onen kommen.

• Zwischen 2 Behandlungsterminen muss eine Pause von min­destens 48 Stunden liegen.

• Sollten nach der Anwendung Hautunebenheiten (leichte Beu­len), Schmerzen auf der Haut oder Pigmentveränderungen wie
Muttermale auftreten, suchen Sie umgehend einen Hautarzt auf.

• Die Lampenröhren werden heiß, berühren Sie sie während der
Anwendung nicht!

• Ziehen Sie stets den Netzstecker und lassen Sie die Leuchte
abkühlen, bevor Sie sie berühren.

Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch

Das Gerät eignet sich nur zum Härten von Materialien wie Gel und

Acryl und UV-Nagellack, die im Bereich der Nagelpege und dem

Nageldesign verwendet werden.

Das Gerät ist nicht zum Härten oder Trocknen von konventionel­lem Nagellack geeignet.

• Die Bestrahlung sollte nicht die minimale Erythem-Dosis
(MED) überschreiten. Wenn ein Erythem (Hautrötung) eini­ge Stunden nach der Bestrahlung auftritt, sollte von weiteren
Anwendungen abgesehen werden. Die nächste Bestrahlung
darf in diesem Fall erst eine Woche nach dem Zeitpunkt der

Hautrötung stattnden.

• Wenn unerwartete Nebenwirkungen wie etwa Juckreiz inner­halb von 48 Stunden nach der ersten Anwendung des UV-Ge­räts auftreten, sollten Sie sich vor weiteren UV-Bestrahlungen
an einen Arzt wenden.

Mit dem UV-Nagelhärter ND 870 haben Sie ein Qualitätsprodukt von
MEDISANA erworben. Damit Sie den gewünschten Erfolg erzielen und
recht lange Freude an Ihrem MEDISANA ND 870 haben, empfehlen

wir Ihnen, die nachstehenden Hinweise zum Gebrauch und zur Pege

sorgfältig zu lesen.
Bitte prüfen Sie zunächst, ob das Gerät vollständig ist und keinerlei
Beschädigung aufweist. Im Zweifelsfalle nehmen Sie das Gerät nicht
in Betrieb und wenden Sie sich an Ihren Händler oder an Ihre Service­stelle. Zum Lieferumfang gehören:

• 1 MEDISANA UV-Nagelhärter ND 870

• 4 UV-Lampenröhren (9 W)

• 1 Gebrauchsanweisung

Verpackungen sind wiederverwendbar oder können dem Rohstoffkreis­lauf zurückgeführt werden. Bitte entsorgen Sie nicht mehr benötigtes
Verpackungsmaterial ordnungsgemäß.

WARNUNG
Achten Sie darauf, dass die Verpackungsfolien nicht in die Hän­de von Kindern gelangen. Es besteht Erstickungsgefahr!

3 Anwendung

1. Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in eine Steckdose.

2. Schalten Sie das Gerät mit der Ein-/Aus-Taste 6 ein.

HINWEIS
Beachten Sie für die Zeitvorwahl die Hinweise des Herstellers
der Acryl-Flüssigkeit oder des Gels.

3. Drücken Sie die Zeitwahl-Taste 7.
> Die UV-Lampenröhren werden angeschaltet und leuchten.
> Die LED „90 Sec“ zeigt die Leuchtdauer von 90 Sekunden an.

Ersatz-Lampenröhren erhalten Sie im Fachhandel oder unter www.promed.de

• Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose und lassen Sie
das Gerät und die UV-Lampenröhren abkühlen.

• Ziehen Sie die Bodenplatte 0 nach vorn aus dem Gerät heraus.

• Ziehen Sie die zu wechselnde UV-Lampenröhre 8 aus dem
Lampensockel 9. Drücken Sie die neue UV-Lampenröhre in den
Sockel, bis sie hörbar einrastet.

• Schieben Sie die Bodenplatte 0 wieder komplett in das Gerät.

• Ziehen Sie bei einem elektrischen Gerät stets den Netzstecker
aus der Steckdose.

• Verwenden Sie nie aggressive Reinigungsmittel oder starke
Bürsten.

• Reinigen Sie das Gerät mit einem weichen Tuch, das Sie mit
einer milden Seifenlauge leicht befeuchten.

• Tauchen Sie das Gerät zum Reinigen niemals ins Wasser und
achten Sie ggf. darauf, dass kein Wasser in das Gerät eindringt.

• Benutzen Sie das Gerät erst wieder, wenn es völlig trocken ist.

• Lagern Sie das Gerät an einem trockenen, kühlen Platz.

Dieses Gerät darf nicht zusammen mit dem Hausmüll entsorgt wer­den. Jeder Verbraucher ist verpichtet, alle elektrischen oder elekt­ronischen Geräte, egal, ob sie Schadstoffe enthalten oder nicht, bei
einer Sammelstelle seiner Stadt oder im Handel abzugeben, damit
sie einer umweltschonenden Entsorgung zugeführt werden können.
Wenden Sie sich hinsichtlich der Entsorgung an Ihre Kommunalbe­hörde oder Ihren Händler.

Garantie­und
Reparatur­bedingungen

Bitte wenden Sie sich im Garantiefall an Ihr Fachgeschäft oder direkt an die Service­stelle. Sollten Sie das Gerät einschicken müssen, geben Sie bitte den Defekt an und
legen eine Kopie der Kaufquittung bei.
Es gelten dabei die folgenden Garantiebedingungen:

1. Auf MEDISANA Produkte wird ab Verkaufsdatum eine Garantie für 3 Jahre
gewährt. Das Verkaufsdatum ist im Garantiefall durch Kaufquittung oder
Rechnung nachzuweisen.

2. Mängel infolge von Material- oder Fertigungsfehlern werden
innerhalb der Garantiezeit kostenlos beseitigt.

3. Durch eine Garantieleistung tritt keine Verlängerung der Garantiezeit, weder
für das Gerät noch für ausgewechselte Bauteile, ein.

4. Von der Garantie ausgeschlossen sind:
a. alle Schäden, die durch unsachgemäße Behandlung, z.B. durch

Nichtbeachtung der Gebrauchsanweisung, entstanden sind.
b. Schäden, die auf Instandsetzung oder Eingriffe durch den Käufer oder
unbefugte Dritte zurückzuführen sind.
c. Transportschäden, die auf dem Weg vom Hersteller zum Verbraucher oder
bei der Einsendung an die Servicestelle entstanden sind.

d. Zubehörteile, die einer normalen Abnutzung unterliegen.

dose (MED). If erythema (skin redness) occurs several
hours after irradiation there should be no further applica­tions made. In this case, the next irradiation should not

hours after the rst application of the UV appliance, you

should consult a doctor before receiving further UV irra­diation.

• Use only lamps of the specied type. The use of a UV lamp
from another manu-facturer or of a different type will lead to
the revocation of the warranty.

Risk of injury from ultraviolet light (UV-Light)!
Looking directly into the UV light from the UV lamps in this
appliance can cause eye injuries and diminish the power of
your vision!

• NEVER look directly into the ultraviolet light from the UV
lamps.

• If the UV lamps are not in use, switch them off.

• Non-users, and especially children, may not be present
during the operation of the appliance.

when the unit has been switched off and is not being used any
longer, and also do this when you have to clean the unit.

• Do not use the device if the timer is not working correctly.

• Consult your doctor rst before using this unit if you have any

• The treatment should be pleasant. Stop at once and consult your
doctor if you feel pain or the treatment seems unpleasant.

• After 10 minutes of continual skin exposure, a 30-minute break is
to be taken. UV lamps should not be used more than 200 times
per year.

• UV radiation can cause damage to the eyes and skin and result,
for example excess ageing and even skin cancer in extreme cas­es. It is therfore strongly recommended that protective glasses
be worn. In individual cases, UV radiation can result in oversen­sitivity to cosmetic products.

• Remove all cosmetic products from the skin, such as moisturizer
and sunscreen, before use.

• You must consult a physician before use if you are taking medi­cation that makes you more sensitive to UV radiation (e. g. , St
John’s Wort).

• There must be a 48-hour long pause between 2 treatment ses­sions.

• Please consult a dermatologist immediately if skin irregularities
(minor lumps), skin pain or pigmentation changes such as moles
arise.

• UV bulbs get hot during operation. Avoid touching them!

• Always disconnect the device from the power supply and allow
the lamp to cool before touching it.

5 Warranty

Warranty

terms

Please contact your supplier or the service centre in case of a claim under the
warranty. If you have to return the unit, please enclose a copy of your receipt and
state what the defect is.
The following warranty terms apply:

1. The warranty period for MEDISANA products is three years from date of
purchase. In case of a warranty claim, the date of purchase has to be
proven by means of the sales receipt or invoice.

2. Defects in material or workmanship will be corrected free of charge within
the warranty period.

3. Repairs under warranty do not extend the warranty period either for the
unit or for the replacement parts.

4. The following is excluded under the warranty:
a. All damage which has arisen due to improper treatment, e.g.

non-observance of the user instructions.
b. All damage which is due to repairs or tampering by the customer or
unauthorised third parties.
c. Damage which has arisen during transport from the manufacturer to
the consumer or during transport to the service centre.

d. Accessories which are subject to normal wear and tear.

• recevant un traitement médical en raison d’un trouble de sensi­bilité à la lumière ;

• ne bronzant pas ou qui ne peuvent pas bronzer sans coup de
soleil lorsqu’elles sont exposées au soleil.

• N’utilisez que le type de lampe prescrit. L’utilisation d’une lampe
UV d’un autre fabricant ou type annulera la garantie.

• Utilisez l’appareil en lieu clos uniquement !

• Avant de raccorder l’appareil à l’alimentation électrique, veillez
à ce que la tension indiquée sur la plaque signalétique corres­ponde à celle de l’alimentation secteur.

• N’utilisez pas d’appareil électrique pendant que vous prenez un

• N’utilisez pas l’appareil si le câble d’alimentation est endomma­gé, si l’alimentation électrique est défectueuse, si l’appareil ne

l’eau ou bien encore s’il a été endommagé.

• Si le câble de raccordement au secteur ou l’adaptateur sec­teur est endommagé, ils ne peuvent être remplacés que par
Medisana, un revendeur agréé ou une personne aux quali-
cations correspondantes.

• Ne portez pas l’appareil, ne le tirez pas et ne le tournez pas par
son câble d’alimentation et ne coincez ou n’écrasez pas le câble.

• Ne débranchez la prise secteur qu’avec des mains sèches et
lorsque l’appareil est éteint et n’est plus en service. Faites-le

également lorsque vous les nettoyez.

• Ne pas utiliser le produit si la minuterie est endommagée ou dé-

Risque de blessures par les rayons ultraviolets (UV) !
Regarder directement dans la lumière des lampes UV de l’appareil
peut entraîner des lésions oculaires et une défaillance visuelle !

• Ne regardez jamais directement dans les rayons ultraviolets des
lampes UV.

• Éteignez les lampes UV lorsqu’elles ne sont pas utilisées.

• Les non-utilisateurs, notamment les enfants ne sont pas autori­sés à être présents lors du fonctionnement de l’appareil.

• En cas de douleurs quelles qu’elles soient ou de maladie, consul­tez votre médecin avant d’utiliser l’appareil pour la première fois.

• Le traitement doit être agréable. Si vous ressentez des douleurs
ou bien si l‘application est ressentie douloureusement, il convient
d‘interrompre et de prendre conseil auprès de votre médecin.

• Après un rayonnement continu de la peau de 10 minutes, une pause
de 30 minutes doit être observée. Les appareils à lampe UV ne
doivent pas être utilisés plus de 200 fois par an.

• Le rayonnement UV peut provoquer des lésions des yeux et de la
peau ainsi que le vieillissement prématuré de la peau et dans le cas
extrême le cancer de la peau. L’utilisation de lunettes de protec­tion est pour cette raison vivement conseillée. Dans certains cas, le
rayonnement UV peut entraîner une hypersensibilité aux produits
cosmétiques.

• Éloignez les produits cosmétiques et de protection solaire avant la
mise en service de l’appareil. Autrement cela peut entraîner des ir­ritations de la peau.

• Une pause d’au moins 48 heures est requise entre 2 séances de
traitement.

• Si après utilisation des imperfections de la peau (petits gonements),
des douleurs de la peau ou des altérations de la pigmentation telles
que des grains de beauté apparaissent, allez voir rapidement un
dermatologue.

• Les tubes de lampe deviennent chauds, ne les touchez pas pendant
l’utilisation !

• Débranchez toujours la che d’alimentation et laissez la lampe re­froidir avant de la toucher.

Utilisation conforme à la destination

L’appareil est adapté uniquement pour le durcissement de matières
telles que le gel, et les vernis à ongles acryliques et UV qui sont utili­sés en manucure et dans le stylisme d’ongle.
L’appareil n’est pas adapté pour le durcissement ou le séchage de
vernis à ongles conventionnels.

• L’application ne doit pas dépasser la dose minimale d’érythème
(MED). Si l’érythème (peau irritée) survient quelques heures après
l’application, il faut éviter d’autres applications. Dans ce cas, la
prochaine application ne peut avoir lieu que la semaine suivant
l’irritation de la peau.

• Si des effets secondaires indésirables tels que des démangeaisons
surviennent dans les 48 heures suivant la première utilisation de
l’appareil UV, consultez un médecin avant de poursuivre l’exposition
aux rayons UV.

1. Branchez la che secteur dans une prise de courant.

2. Allumez l’appareil à l’aide du bouton Marche/Arrêt 6.

REMARQUE
Pour la présélection du temps, respectez les indications du

fabricant du uide acrylique ou du gel.

3. Appuyez sur le bouton de sélection du Temps 7.

> Les tubes de lampe UV sont allumés et s’éclairent.
> La LED « 90 sec. » indique la durée d’éclairage de 90 secondes.
En appuyant à nouveau sur le bouton de sélection du temps 7, la durée d’éclairage
sélectionnée augmente : 120 secondes, 30 minutes, 60 minutes. La durée d’éclaira­ge sélectionnée est indiquée par les LED 1, 2, 4 et 5.

Il y a trois possibilités pour éteindre les tubes de lampe UV :
a. En mode « fonctionnement continu » appuyez sur le bouton de sélection du
temps 7. (pour rallumer les lampes appuyez de nouveau sur le bouton 7.)
b. Les lampes s’éteignent automatiquement après écoulement du temps
sélectionné. (Appuyez de nouveau sur le bouton 7 pour rallumer les lampes).
c.
Appuyez sur le bouton Marche/Arrêt 6 , pour éteindre complètement l’appareil.
> Ce n’est que lorsque la LED d’état de fonctionnement 3 ne s’éclaire plus que

l’appareil est complètement éteint. Retirez la che secteur de la prise.

Les tubes de lampe de remplacement sont disponibles dans le com­merce spécialisé ou sous www.promed.de

• Retirez la che secteur de la prise et laissez refroidir l’appareil et
les tubes de lampe UV.

• Retirez la plaque de fond

• Retirez les tubes de lampe à remplacer 8 du socle de lampe 9.
Installez les nouveaux tubes de lampe dans le socle en ap­puyant jusqu’à ce que vous entendiez un déclic.

• Poussez de nouveau la plaque de fond 0 complètement dans
l’appareil.
