zur Stromversorgung

•

Bevor Sie das Gerät an Ihre Stromversorgung anschließen, achten Sie darauf, dass die auf dem Typenschild angegebene Netzspannung mit der Ihres Stromnetzes übereinstimmt.

•

Stecken Sie das Netzteil nur in die Steckdose, wenn das Gerät ausgeschaltet ist.

•

Benutzen Sie nur das mit dem Massagegerät gelieferte Netzteil.

•

Halten Sie Netzteil, Kabel und Gerät von Hitze, heißen Oberflächen, Feuchtigkeit und Flüssigkeiten fern.

•

Fassen Sie das Netzteil nicht an, wenn Sie im Wasser stehen und fassen Sie den Stecker stets mit trockenen Händen an.

•

Greifen Sie nicht nach einem Gerät, das ins Wasser gefallen ist. Ziehen Sie sofort den Netzstecker, bzw. das Netzteil aus der Steckdose.

•

Schalten Sie immer sofort nach der Benutzung das Gerät mit den Tasten am Bedienteil aus und ziehen Sie das Netzteil aus der Steckdose.

•

Um das Gerät vom Stromnetz zu trennen, ziehen Sie niemals am Netzkabel.

•

Tragen, ziehen oder drehen Sie das Gerät nicht am Kabel oder Netzteil.

•

Wenn das Kabel oder das Netzteil beschädigt sind, darf das Gerät nicht weiter benutzt werden. Aus Sicherheitsgründen dürfen diese Teile nur von einer autorisierten Servicestelle ausgewechselt werden. Um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden, senden Sie das Gerät zur Reparatur an die Servicestelle.

•

Achten Sie darauf, dass Kabel nicht zur Stolperfalle werden. Sie dürfen weder geknickt, eingeklemmt noch verdreht werden.

- Sie an einer oder mehreren der folgenden Krankheiten oder Beschwerden

leiden: Durchblutungsstörungen, Krampfadern, offene Wunden, Prellungen, Hautrisse, Venenentzündungen.

Sollten Sie Schmerzen verspüren oder die Massage als unangenehm empfinden, brechen Sie die Anwendung ab und sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt.

3 Anwendung

Das Massagerät MPA ist für eine gezielte Behandlung verspannter Muskulatur im oberen und unteren Rückenbereich und im Hüftbereich bestimmt. Das Gerät nutzt dafür innovative Luftdruck-Technologie. Der Massage-Rhythmus in den vier Luftkissen lässt sich individuell einstellen, indem Sie eine von fünf Kompressionszeiten auswählen. Durch diese spezielle Technik der High-DefinitionMassage wird eine besonders intensive und entspannende Wirkung erzielt. Die separat zuschaltbare Vibrationsmassage ist in fünf Intensitätsstärken einstellbar. Luftdruck-Massage und Vibrationsmassage lassen sich in Kombination oder unabhängig voneinander anwenden. Mit Hilfe eines Timers lassen sich vier Betriebszeiten auswählen. Auf diese Weise können Sie mit dem Massagerät MPA ein individuelles Massage-Programm zusammenstellen.

Inbetriebnahme

1. Platzieren Sie das Massagekissen auf einem hohen Stuhl oder Sessel.

Achten Sie auf die richtige Position, die Kabel sind unten. Gegebenenfalls verwenden Sie die Klettverschlüsse an der Rückseite zur Befestigung an einer dafür geeigneten Stuhllehne.

2. Stecken Sie den Verbindungsstecker des Netzteils in den Anschluss



am Massagekissen .

3. Stecken Sie das Netzteil in die Netzsteckdose. Achten Sie darauf, dass

diese gut zugänglich bleibt. Das Bedienteil quittiert diesen Vorgang mit einem Piepton.

4. Nehmen Sie in bequemer Stellung Platz und machen Sie sich mit den Funk-

tionen des Gerätes vertraut.

Gerät bedienen

I/0-Taste



1. Durch Drücken der I/0-Taste wird das Gerät eingeschaltet. Das Gerät

arbeitet sofort mit Luftdruck-Massage und Vibrationsmassage. Dabei sind für Luftmassage-Rhythmus und Vibrationsintensität jeweils die niedrigsten Stufen eingestellt. Die voreingestellte Betriebsdauer von 15 Minuten erscheint im Display . Die LEDs über den drei Funktionstasten und die Anzeige im Display leuchten rot.

2. Durch Drücken der VIBRATION-Taste wird die Vibrationsmassage-

Funktion ausgeschaltet, die LED erlischt. Die Luftdruck-Massage bleibt in Betrieb. Durch Drücken der AIR MASSAGE-Taste wird die Luftmassage-Funktion ausgeschaltet, die LED erlischt. Die Vibrationsmassage bleibt in Betrieb.

3. Durch erneutes Drücken der I/0-Taste wird das Gerät ausgeschaltet. Alle

LEDs und die Display-beleuchtung erlöschen.



Die ablaufende Betriebsdauer wird im Display in Minuten angezeigt. Nach Ablauf der Betriebsdauer schaltet sich das Gerät automatisch aus.

HINWEIS

Wenn Sie beim Betrieb des Gerätes keine Zeiteinstellung mit dem Timer vornehmen, schaltet sich das Gerät nach 15 Minuten automatisch ab.

Bitte wenden Sie sich im Garantiefall an Ihr Fachgeschäft oder direkt an die Servicestelle. Sollten Sie das Gerät einschicken müssen, geben Sie bitte den Defekt an und legen eine Kopie der Kaufquittung bei.

Es gelten dabei die folgenden Garantiebedingungen:

3 Operating

The MPA massager is intended for the targeted treatment of tense muscles in the upper and lower back areas and the hip area. The device uses innovative compressed air technology for this. The massaging frequency in the four air cushions can be set individually be selecting one of five compression times. A particularly intensive and relaxing effect is achieved with this special highdefinition massage technology. The separate, optional vibration massage can be set to five levels of intensity. Compressed air massage and vibration massage can be used in combination or independently. A timer allows you to choose between four operating times. You can thus use the MPA massager to create your own individual massage program.

Preparation

1. Place the massage cushion on a high chair or seat. Make sure the posi-

tion is correct. The cables are at the bottom. If necessary, use the velcro fasteners at the back to fasten it to a suitable back of a chair.

2. Insert the power supply unit plug into the connection on the mas-

sage cushion .

3. Plug in the power supply unit. Ensure that the power supply is easily

accessible. The control unit acknowledges this with a beep.

4. Seat yourself comfortably and familiarise yourself with the device functions.

Operating the unit

I/0 button



1. Press the I/0 button to switch on the device. The device starts working

straight away with compressed air massage and vibration massage. The lowest levels are set for the air massage frequency and vibration intensity. The preset operating time of 15 minutes appears on the display . The LEDs above the three function buttons and the indication on the display light up in red.

2. Press the VIBRATION button to switch off the vibration massage func-

tion. The LED goes out. The compressed air massage remains in operation. Press the AIR MASSAGE button to switch off the air massage function. The LED goes out. The vibration massage remains in operation.

3. Press the I/0 button again to switch off the device. All LEDs and the

display’s illumination go out.

AIR MASSAGE button



1. Press the AIR MASSAGE button to switch on the air massage function.

The device starts working straight away with the lowest air massage frequency, i.e. with a compression time of 3 seconds. The massage effect is generated by building up pressure and releasing it again in the four air cushions



in the massage cushion.

Press the TIMER button to select a specific operating time. You can choose between 15, 30, 45 and 60 minutes. A changed setting is indicated on the display. The operating time that has passed is indicated on the display in minutes. Once the operating time has elapsed, the device switches off automatically.

NOTE

If you do not use the timer to set the time when operating the device, it will switch off automatically after 15 minutes.

Make sure that the maximum operating time of 60 minutes is not exceeded.

5 Warranty

Please contact your dealer or the service centre in case of a claim under the warranty. If you have to return the unit, please enclose a copy of your receipt and state what the defect is.

The following warranty terms apply:

1. The warranty period for MEDISANA products is three years from date of

purchase. In case of a warranty claim, the date of purchase has to be proven by means of the sales receipt or invoice.

2. Defects in material or workmanship will be removed free of charge within

the warranty period.

3. Repairs under warranty do not extend the warranty period either for the

unit or for the replacement parts.

4. The following is excluded under the warranty: a. All damage which has arisen due to improper treatment, e.g. non-

observance of the user instructions.

b. All damage which is due to repairs or tampering by the customer or

unauthorised third parties.

c. Damage which has arisen during transport from the manufacturer to the

consumer or during transport to the service centre.

d. Accessories which are subject to normal wear and tear.

5. Liability for direct or indirect consequential losses caused by the unit are

excluded even if the damage to the unit is accepted as a warranty claim.

3 Utilisation

L’appareil de massage MPA est destiné au traitement local des muscles tendus dans le haut et le bas du dos et au niveau des hanches. L’appareil utilise la technologie innovante de l’air comprimé. Le rythme de massage dans les quatre coussins à air peut être réglé individuellement en sélectionnant l’un de cinq temps de compression. Cette technique spéciale du massage haute définition permet d’obtenir un effet particulièrement intense et détendant. Le massage par vibrations activable séparément est réglable selon cinq intensités. Le massage à air comprimé et le massage par vibrations peuvent être utilisés combinés ou indépendamment l’un de l’autre. Il est possible de régler quatre durées de fonctionnement à l’aide d’une minuterie. Vous pouvez ainsi composer un programme individuel de massage à l’aide de l’appareil de massage MPA.

Mise en service

1. Placez le coussin de massage sur une chaise assez haute ou un fauteuil.

Veillez à placer correctement le coussin, les câbles doivent être en bas. Utilisez éventuellement les fermetures par velcro au dos afin de le fixer à un dossier de chaise adapté.

2. Branchez la fiche du bloc d’alimentation dans le raccord sur le cous-

sin de massage .

3. Branchez le bloc d’alimentation dans la prise secteur. Veillez à ce

qu’elle soit bien accessible. L’élément de commande confirme cette procédure en émettant un bip.

4. Prenez place dans une position confortable et familiarisez-vous avec les

fonctions de l’appareil.

Utilisation de l’appareil

Touche I/0



1. Appuyez sur la touche I/0 pour mettre l’appareil en marche. L’appareil

fonctionne aussitôt en massage à air comprimé et en massage par vibrations. Les niveaux les plus faibles sont réglés pour le rythme du massage à air et pour l’intensité des vibrations. La durée pré-réglée de fonctionnement de 15 minutes apparaît à l’écran . Les DEL au-dessus des trois touches de fonction et l’affichage à l’écran s’allument en rouge.

2. Appuyez sur la touche VIBRATION pour éteindre la fonction de massa-

ge par vibrations, la DEL s’éteint. Le massage à air comprimé reste en fonctionnement. Appuyez sur la touche AIR MASSAGE pour éteindre la fonction de massage à air, la DEL s’éteint. Le massage par vibrations reste en fonctionnement.

3. Appuyez de nouveau sur la touche I/0 pour éteindre l’appareil. Toutes

les DEL et l’éclairage de l’écran s’éteignent.
