weitergeben, geben Sie unbedingt
diese Gebrauchsanweisung mit.

• Benutzen Sie das Gerät nur entsprechend
seiner Bestimmung laut Gebrauchsanwei­sung innerhalb der angegebenen Umwelt­bedingungen.

• Bei Zweckentfremdung erlischt der Garan­tieanspruch.

• Das Gerät ist nicht für den kommerziellen
Gebrauch bestimmt.

empfohlen.

• Wenden Sie das Gerät nur auf trockenem,
gekämmtem Haar an.

• Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht auf gerisse­ner oder verletzter Haut.

• Vermeiden Sie beim Gebrauch des elek­trischen Läusekamms unbedingt den di­rekten Kontakt mit den Ohren, den Augen
und dem Mund. Bei Berührung der Me­tallzinken kann es zu einem schmerzhaf­ten, jedoch ungefährlichen elektrischen
Impuls kommen.

• Der Kamm hat abgerundete perlenförmige
Enden an jedem zweiten Zinken 4. Über­prüfen Sie vor jedem Gebrauch, dass keines
davon fehlt oder beschädigt ist. Ansonsten
darf der Läusekamm nicht mehr benutzt
werden.

• Im Falle von Störungen reparieren Sie das
Gerät nicht selbst, da dadurch jeglicher Ga­rantieanspruch erlischt. Lassen Sie Repa­raturen nur von autorisierten Servicestellen
durchführen.

• Beachten Sie, dass eigenmächtiges Umbau­en und/oder Verändern des Produkts nicht
gestattet ist. Im Falle des eigenmächtigen
Umbauens und/oder Veränderns erlischt der
Garantieanspruch.

• Sie selbst dürfen an dem Gerät nur Reini­gungsarbeiten ausführen.

• Halten Sie das Gerät von heißen Ober­ächen fern, und schützen Sie es vor direk­ter Sonneneinstrahlung.

• Betreiben Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe
von hochfrequenten elektromagnetischen
Sendern.

• Schützen Sie das Gerät vor Feuchtigkeit.
Sollte dennoch einmal Flüssigkeit in das Ge­rät eindringen, müssen die Batterien sofort
entfernt und weitere Anwendungen vermie­den werden. Setzen Sie sich in diesem Fall
mit Ihrem Fachhändler in Verbindung oder
informieren Sie uns direkt. Wie Sie uns er-

reichen können, nden Sie im Anschluss an

die Garantiebedingungen.

• Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht, wenn Gehäu­se oder Kammzinken beschädigt sind, das
Gerät nicht einwandfrei funktioniert, wenn es
herunter- oder ins Wasser gefallen war.

• Verhindern Sie Unfälle und Schäden
am Gerät, indem Sie das Gerät im ein­geschalteten Zustand von Kleidung,
Borsten, Drähten, Schnüren, Schnür­senkeln, Fäden usw. fernhalten.

• Das Gerät vermittelt gelegentlich ein krib­belndes Gefühl. Das ist normal und vollkom­men ungefährlich.

• Reinigen Sie den Läusekamm sorgfältig
nach jedem Gebrauch, besonders, wenn
mehrere Personen damit behandelt werden
sollen, um das Risiko von Übertragungen zu
verringern.

• Schalten Sie das Gerät aus, wenn es nicht
mehr in Gebrauch ist.

• Setzen Sie bei Nichtgebrauch immer die
Schutzkappe 5 auf das Gerät.

Lieferumfang und Verpackung

Bitte prüfen Sie zunächst, ob das Gerät voll­ständig ist und keinerlei Beschädigung auf­weist. Im Zweifelsfalle nehmen Sie das Gerät
nicht in Betrieb und wenden Sie sich an Ihren
Händler oder an Ihre Servicestelle.

Zum Lieferumfang gehören:

• 1 MEDISANA Elektrischer Läusekamm
LC 870 mit Reinigungsbürste

• 3 Batterien 1,5 V (Typ AAA)

• 1 Gebrauchsanweisung

Verpackungen sind wiederverwendbar oder
können dem Rohstoffkreislauf zurückgeführt
werden. Bitte entsorgen Sie nicht mehr benö­tigtes Verpackungsmaterial ordnungsgemäß.
Sollten Sie beim Auspacken einen Transport­schaden bemerken, setzen Sie sich bitte so­fort mit Ihrem Händler in Verbindung.

Was sind Kopäuse?

Kopäuse sind kleine, ügellose Insekten, die

sich von Blut auf Köpfen von Menschen ernäh­ren. Voll ausgewachsene Läuse sind gewöhn­lich 2-3 mm lang und variieren in der Farbe
von gräulichem Weiß bis Braun. Die Eier von

Kopäusen sind von beige-brauner Farbe

und kleben am Haaransatz auf der Kopfhaut.
Kopäuse schlüpfen nach 7-10 Tagen; die zu­rückbleibenden weißen Schalen nennt man
Nissen.
Der durchschnittliche Befall umfasst etwa 10

Kopäuse. Wenn keine Gegenmaßnahmen

ergriffen werden, kann die Anzahl schnell auf
bis zu 200 Läuse auf einem Kopf anwach-

sen. Kopäuse können weder springen noch
iegen und wechseln den Wirt deshalb durch

direkten Kontakt von Kopf zu Kopf.
Es lässt sich jedoch nicht verhindern, dass
Läuse auch auf Textilien kurzfristig überleben.
Entgegen der allgemeinen Annahme besie-

deln Kopäuse alle Arten von Haar, - nicht nur

ungewaschenes oder schmutziges Haar.

Besonderheiten des MEDISANA Elektri­schen Läusekamms LC 870
Der elektrische Läusekamm LC 870 von
MEDISANA vernichtet wirkungsvoll Kopf-

läuse - ohne Einsatz von chemischen Mitteln.
Er arbeitet mit einer Spannung zwischen den
Zinken, die sowohl Eier als auch Läuse bei
Berührung sofort abtötet. Der Einsatz elektri­scher Spannung ist so gering, dass er für den
Nutzer nicht wahrnehmbar und völlig harmlos
ist. Gleichzeitig wird die Aktivität des Kamms
durch einen Ton angezeigt.
Der Betrieb erfolgt mit handelsüblichen AAA­Batterien.
Der MEDISANA elektrische Läusekamm LC
870 ist für Erwachsene und Kinder über 3
Jahre gleichermaßen geeignet. Der Kamm ist
auch für die Anwendung bei Haustieren, wie
Hunden und Katzen, geeignet.

Anwendung
Batterien einlegen/entnehmen

Entfernen Sie die Batteriefachabdeckung 2
und setzen Sie die mitgelieferten Batterien
(3 x Typ AAA) ein. Achten Sie auf die Liege­richtung (+/-) der Batterien, wie sie an den
Batterien und im Inneren des Batteriefaches
angegeben ist. Setzen Sie die Batteriefachab­deckung 2 wieder auf. Verfahren Sie bei
einem Batteriewechsel genauso.

Es wird empfohlen, keine wiederauadbaren

Batterien zu verwenden. Entnehmen Sie die
Batterien dem Gerät, wenn Sie es längere Zeit
nicht benutzen möchten.

sein, ist sofort ein Arzt aufzusuchen!

• Legen Sie Batterie korrekt ein, beachten
Sie die Polarität!

• Halten Sie das Batteriefach verschlos­sen!

• Batterie bei längerer Nichtverwendung
aus dem Gerät entfernen!

• Batterien von Kindern fernhalten!

• Batterien nicht wiederauaden!
Explosionsgefahr!

• Nicht kurzschließen! Explosionsgefahr!

• Nicht ins Feuer werfen! Explosionsge­fahr!

• Lagern Sie ungebrauchte Batterien in
der Verpackung und nicht in der Nähe
von metallischen Gegenständen, um
einen Kurzschluss zu vermeiden!

Bedienung

1. Der elektrische Läusekamm LC 870 darf

nur auf trockenem Haar angewendet wer­den. Entwirren Sie das Haar, und lösen Sie
jede Art von eventuell vorhandenen Knoten

oder Verechtungen im Haar, bevor Sie den

Kamm benutzen.

2. Um das Gerät einzuschalten, schieben Sie

den EIN/AUSSchalter 1 nach vorne/oben.
Ein hoher Summton zeigt an, dass das
Gerät arbeitet. Das LED-Licht 3 schaltet
sich ein und leuchtet den zu kämmenden
Bereich aus. Das LED-Licht 3 ermöglicht
Ihnen, Läuse oder Nissen schneller zu er­kennen und dadurch die Anwendung effekti­ver zu gestalten.

3. Bringen Sie den Kamm in einen Winkel von

45° - 90° und führen Sie ihn langsam durch
das Kopfhaar.

4. Während Sie das Haar kämmen, wird das

Summen immer dann kurz verstummen,
wenn eine Laus oder ein Ei vernichtet wur­de. Sollte das Summen danach nicht mehr
einsetzen, sind die Kammzinken 4 voll.
Schalten Sie den Kamm aus. Verwenden
Sie zunächst die kleine Reinigungsbürste

, die sich integriert am Ende des Hand-

griffs bendet, um die Zinken 4 zu reinigen.

Fahren Sie anschließend mit der Anwen­dung fort. Nehmen Sie sich Zeit, das Haar
gründlich durchzukämmen.

5. Vergessen Sie nicht, das Gerät nach Ge-

brauch auszuschalten und gründlich zu rei­nigen. Zum Schutz setzen Sie bei Nichtge­brauch immer die Schutzkappe 5 auf das
Gerät.

6. Weil der MEDISANA Elektrische Läuse­kamm LC 870 vor allem ausgewachsene
Läuse tötet, müssen Sie die tägliche An­wendung noch für ca. zwei Wochen fort­setzen, um sicher zu gehen, dass alle Läu­se vernichtet worden sind.

7. Um einem neuen Befall vorzubeugen, wird
empfohlen, den elektrischen Läusekamm
einmal wöchentlich zur Kontrolle oder als
vorbeugende Maßnahme anzuwenden.

Tipps bei Befall von Kopäusen

• Die Anwendung des elektischen Läuse-

kamms kann mit dem Einsatz von chemi­schen Mitteln ergänzt werden. In besonderen
Fällen ist ein Arzt zu konsultieren.

• Grundsätzlich sollten chemische Mittel auf-

grund möglicher Nebenwirkungen nur ange­wendet werden, wenn auch tatsächlich ein

Kopausbefall vorliegt. Ein Arzt kann dies

überprüfen und auch Behandlungshinweise
geben.

Reinigung und Pege

• Regelmäßige Reinigung und gute Wartung

sichert optimale Ergebnisse und verlängert
die Lebensdauer Ihres Gerätes.

• Reinigen Sie den Läusekamm sorgfältig nach

jedem Gebrauch, besonders, wenn er an ver­schiedenen Personen eingesetzt wird.

• Entfernen Sie die Batterien, bevor Sie das

Gerät reinigen.

• Für die Reinigung des Gehäuses verwenden

Sie ein trockenes, weiches Papier- oder Tex­tiltuch, für die Reinigung der Kammzinken die
mitgelieferte Reinigungsbürste 2.

• Benutzen Sie keine aggressiven Substan-

zen, wie z. B. Scheuermilch oder andere
Spülmittel, für die Reinigung. Das könnte die

Oberäche angreifen.

• Tauchen Sie das Gerät zum Reinigen nie-

mals in Wasser. In das Gerät darf keine Flüs­sigkeit eindringen.

• Setzen Sie das Gerät nicht der direkten Son-

neneinstrahlung aus, schützen Sie es vor
Schmutz und Feuchtigkeit.

• Nehmen Sie die Batterien aus dem Gerät,

wenn Sie es längere Zeit nicht benutzen
möchten. Es besteht sonst die Gefahr, dass
die Batterien auslaufen.

• Bei sorgsamer Reinigung und Befolgung der

Hinweise haben Sie stets ein einsatzbereites
Gerät zur Verfügung. Die Reinigung des Pro­duktes hat keine negativen Auswirkungen auf
die Lebensdauer des Gerätes.

• Lagern Sie das Gerät an einem sauberen,

trockenen und kühlen Platz.

Fehler und Behebung

Problem: Gerät und/oder LED-Licht
funktioniert nicht.

Lösung: Schalten Sie das Gerät aus und
wechseln Sie die Batterien. Arbeitet das Gerät
und/oder das LED-Licht weiterhin nicht, kon­taktieren Sie die Servicestelle.

Entsorgung

Dieses Gerät darf nicht zusammen
mit dem Hausmüll entsorgt werden.

Jeder Verbraucher ist verpichtet,

alle elektrischen oder elektroni­schen Geräte, egal, ob sie Schad­stoffe enthalten oder nicht, bei einer
Sammelstelle seiner Stadt oder im
Handel abzugeben, damit sie einer
umweltschonenden Entsorgung zu-

geführt werden können.
Entnehmen Sie die Batterie, bevor Sie das
Gerät entsorgen. Werfen Sie verbrauchte Bat­terien nicht in den Hausmüll, sondern in den
Sondermüll oder in eine Batterie-Sammelstati­on im Fachhandel. Wenden Sie sich hinsicht­lich der Entsorgung an Ihre Kommunalbehör­de oder Ihren Händler.

Garantie- und Reparaturbedingungen

Bitte wenden Sie sich im Garantiefall an Ihr
Fachgeschäft oder direkt an die Servicestelle.
Sollten Sie das Gerät einschicken müssen,
geben Sie bitte den Defekt an und legen eine
Kopie der Kaufquittung bei.
Es gelten dabei die folgenden Garantie­bedingungen:

1. Auf MEDISANA Produkte wird ab
Verkaufsdatum eine Garantie für 3 Jahre
gewährt. Das Verkaufsdatum ist im Garan­ tiefall durch Kaufquittung oder Rechnung
nachzuweisen.

2. Mängel infolge von Material- oder
Fertigungsfehlern werden innerhalb der
Garantiezeit kostenlos beseitigt.

3. Durch eine Garantieleistung tritt keine
Verlängerung der Garantiezeit, weder für
das Gerät noch für ausgewechselte
Bauteile, ein.

4. Von der Garantie ausgeschlossen sind:
a. alle Schäden, die durch unsachgemäße

Behandlung, z. B. durch Nichtbeach­ tung der Gebrauchsanweisung, ent­ standen sind.
b. Schäden, die auf Instandsetzung oder
Eingriffe durch den Käufer oder
unbefugte Dritte zurückzuführen sind.

vom Hersteller zum Verbraucher oder

5. Eine Haftung für mittelbare oder unmittel­ bare Folgeschäden, die durch das Gerät
verursacht werden, ist auch dann ausge­ schlossen, wenn der Schaden an dem
Gerät als ein Garantiefall anerkannt wird.

mouth. Touching the metal teeth can in-

charge.

• The comb has rounded pearl-shaped tips
on every second tooth 4. Make sure that
no teeth are missing or damaged before you
use the unit. Otherwise the lice comb is no
longer useable.

• In the event of a malfunction, do not attempt

to repair the unit on your own; this will void

your guarantee. Have all repairs carried out
by an authorised service centre.

• Be aware that unauthorised conversion and

/ or modication of the product is prohibited.

In case of unauthorised conversion and / or
modication the warranty cover will be ren­dered null and void.

• You are only permitted to clean the unit.

• Keep the unit away from hot surfaces and
guard it against exposure to direct sunlight.

• The unit may not be operated in the vicinity
of high-frequency electromagnetic emitters.

• Protect the unit from moisture. Should liquid
get into the unit, remove the batteries im­mediately and refrain from using the unit. In
such a case, contact your dealer or notify us
directly. Our address and phone number are

• Do not use the unit if the housing or comb
teeth are damaged, if the unit does not func­tion properly or if it has fallen down or fallen
into water.

• Prevent accidents or damage to the unit by
keeping the unit away from clothing, bristles,
wires, strings, shoelaces, threads etc. when
it is switched on.

• The unit may occasionally leave your scalp
tingling. This is perfectly normal and is in no
way dangerous.

• Clean your lice comb after every use, in par­ticular when more than one person is being
treated, to avoid the risk of transmitting lice.

• Always switch off the unit when not in use.

• When not in use, always put the protective
cap back 5 on the unit.

What are head lice?

Head lice are small, wingless insects that live
off blood on human scalps. Fully adult lice are
typically 2 - 3 mm in length. Their colour vari­es from off-white to brown. The lice eggs are
beige-brown in colour and stick to the hairline
on your scalp. Head lice hatch after 7 to 10

days; the white shells they leave behind are
known as nits. An average afiction is about 10

lice. If left untreated, the number of lice on
your scalp can quickly increase to 200. Lice

can neither jump nor y; this is why they can

only be transmitted through direct head-to­head contact. However, it is also possible for

Special features of the MEDISANA electric
lice comb LC 870

The MEDISANA electric lice comb LC 870 ef­fectively eliminates head lice without having to
resort to chemical means. It works by creating
an electric charge between the teeth that kills
off the lice and their eggs on contact.
The electric charge is so small that users will

not notice it; it is absolutely safe to use. Comb

activity is indicated by an audible signal. The
unit is powered by conventional AAA batteries.

Operating
Inserting / removing the batteries

Remove the battery compartment lid 2
and insert the included batteries (3 x type
AAA). Observe the proper polarity (+/-) of
the batteries as indicated on the batteries
itself and on the inside of the battery com­partment. Replace the battery compartment
lid 2. Follow the same procedure when
replacing the batteries. We recommend that
you do not use rechargeable batteries. Remo­ve the batteries from the unit if you do not plan
on using it again anytime in the near future.

Operating

1. The electric lice comb LC 870 may only be

used on dry hair. If necessary, detangle your
hair and undo any knots or braids prior to
using the comb.

2. To switch off the unit, slide the ON/OFF

switch 1 forward/upward. A high-pitched
humming sound indicates that the unit is
in operation. The LED light 3 switches on
and illuminates the area to be combed. The
LED light 3 enables you to nd lice and
nits more easy and therefore use the device
more effectively.

3. Position the comb at a 45° - 90°angle and

guide it slowly through your hair.

4. While you are combing your hair, the hum

will briey stop whenever the teeth make

contact with a louse or egg. If the humming
sound does not return, the comb teeth 4
are clogged. Switch the comb off. Use the
small cleaning brush 2, that is integrated in
the end of the handle, to clean the teeth 4.
Continue combing your hair. Allow enough
time to thoroughly comb your hair.

5. Don’t forget to switch off the unit after you

are done and to clean it thoroughly. When
not in use, always put the protective cap 5
back on the unit.

6. Since the MEDISANA electric lice comb
LC 870 is particularly effective against adult

lice, continue using the comb for about 2
weeks to ensure that you eliminate all lice.

7. To prevent the return of lice, we recommend
that you use the electric lice comb once a
week as a precautionary measure.

Helpful tips if you are aficted by head lice

• You can supplement the application of your

electric lice comb by using a chemical agent.
For unusual cases, please consult a physi­cian.

• Due to their possible side effects, chemical

agents should only be used if you have an
actual afication of head lice and not as a me­ans of prevention. A physician can verify this
and prescribe treatment.

Cleaning and maintenance

• Regular cleaning and good maintenance en-

sures optimum results and extends the life of
your unit.

• Clean the lice comb carefully after each use,

particularly if it is used by more than one per­son.

• Remove the batteries before you clean the

unit.

• To clean the housing, use a dry, soft paper or

fabric cloth. To clean the comb teeth, use the
included cleaning brush 2.

• Do not use any strong detergents for

cleaning, e.g. scouring cream or other clean­sing agents, as they may damage the surface
of the unit.

• When cleaning, never immerse the unit in

water and make sure that no water gets into
the unit.

• Do not expose the unit to direct sunlight and

protect it from dirt and moisture.

• Remove the batteries from the unit if you do

not plan on using it again anytime in the near
future. Otherwise, the batteries may start lea­king.

• Thorough cleaning and instruction compli-

ance will always ensure that you have a rea­dy-to-use device. The cleaning of the product
has no negative effects on the lifespan of the
device.

• Store the unit in a clean, dry and cool loca-

tion.

Troubleshooting

Problem: Device and/or LED light do not work.

Solution: Switch off the device and exchange
the batteries. If the device and/or the LED light
still do not work, contact the customer service.

Disposal

This product must not be disposed
of together with domestic waste. All
users are obliged to hand in all elec­trical or electronic devices, regard­less of whether or not they contain
toxic substances, at a municipal or
commercial collection point so that
they can be disposed of in an envi-

ronmentally acceptable manner.
Please remove the battery before disposing of
the device/unit. Do not dispose of old batteries
with your household waste, but at a battery
collection station at a recycling site or in a

pas l’appareil vous-même, vous perdriez

• Prenez note qu’une transformation de son

Qu’est-ce que les poux de tête ?

Les poux de tête sont de petits insectes sans
ailes se nourrissant de sang, sur les têtes des
humains. Les poux adultes ont en général
une longueur de 2 à 3 mm et sont blanc-gris
à marron. Les oeufs des poux de tête sont
de couleur beige-marron et s’accrochent à la
racine des cheveux, sur le cuir chevelu. Les
poux de tête éclosent au bout de 7 à 10 jours.
Les larves s’appellent les lentes. En moyenne,
la première infection est constituée d’environ
10 poux de tête. Si aucune mesure n’est prise
contre les poux, le nombre peut vite passer à
200 poux par tête. Les poux ne peuvent ni sau­ter ni voler et changent donc de porteur lors du
contact direct de tête à tête. Il est cependant
impossible d’éviter que les poux survivent un
certain temps sur des textiles. Contrairement
à une croyance répandue, les poux s’abritent
sur toutes les sortes de cheveux, et pas uni­quement sur les cheveux mal lavés ou sales.

Particularités du peigne à poux électrique
LC 870 MEDISANA
Le peigne à poux électrique LC 870 de
MEDISANA anéantit efcacement les poux de

tête - sans utilisation de moyens chimiques.
Il fonctionne en créant une tension entre les
dents tuant aussi bien les oeufs que les poux
en cas de contact. L’usage de tension élec­trique est si faible qu’il n’est pas perceptible
pour l’utilisateur et totalement inoffensif. En
même temps, le fonctionnement du peigne
est indiqué par un signal sonore. Le fonction­nement a lieu avec des piles AAA disponibles
dans le commerce. Le peigne à poux élec­trique LC 870 MEDISANA convient aux adul­tes et aux enfants de plus de 3 ans. Le peigne
convient également pour l’utilisation sur des
animaux domestiques comme les chiens et
les chats.

Utilisation
Placer / retirer les piles

Retirez le couvercle du compartiment des pi­les 2 et insérez les piles fournies (3 x piles
AAA). Respectez les pôles (+/-) des piles com­me indiqué sur les piles et à l‘intérieur du com­partiment. Replacez le cache du compartiment
des piles 2. Procédez de la même manière
pour changer la pile. Il est recommandé de ne
pas utiliser de piles rechargeables. Retirez la
pile de l’appareil lorsque vous ne l’utilisez pas
pendant une période prolongée.

Utilisation

1. Le peigne à poux électrique LC 870 doit être

utilisé uniquement sur des cheveux secs.
Démêlez les cheveux et défaites tout chig­non ou coiffure éventuelle avant d’utiliser le
peigne.

2. Pour allumer l’appareil, poussez le bouton

MARCHE/ARRÊT 1 vers l’avant/le haut.
Un signal sonore aigu indique que l’appareil
fonctionne. Les voyants LED 3 s‘allument
et éclairent la zone à peigner. Les voyants
LED 3 vous permet de reconnaître plus
rapidement les poux et les lentes et ainsi

rendre plus efcace l’utilisation.

3. Placez le peigne à un angle de 45° à 90° et

passez-le lentement dans les cheveux.

4. Lorsque vous peignez les cheveux, le signal

sonore s’arrête brièvement lorsqu’un pou ou
une lente ont été tués. Si le signal sonore ne
se remet plus en marche, les dents du peig­ne 4 sont pleines. Eteignez le peigne. Uti­lisez d’abord la petite brosse de nettoyage

intégrée à l’extrémité de la poignée an

de nettoyer les dents 4. Poursuivez ensu­ite l’utilisation. Prenez le temps de peigner
soigneusement toute la chevelure.

5. N’oubliez pas d’éteindre l’appareil après son

utilisation et de le nettoyer soigneusement.
Placez toujours le cache de protection 5
sur l’appareil quand vous ne l’utilisez plus.

6. Comme le peigne à poux électrique LC 870
MEDISANA tue avant tout les poux adultes,

vous devez poursuivre l’utilisation quotidi-

enne pendant environ deux semaines an

d’être sûr d’avoir anéanti tous les poux.

7. Pour prévenir une nouvelle transmission, il
est recommandé d’utiliser le peigne à poux

électrique une fois par semaine à des ns

de contrôle ou comme mesure préventive.

Conseils en cas d’infection par des poux

• L’utilisation du peigne à poux électrique peut

être complétée par l’usage de produits chi­miques. Dans certains cas, il est recomman­dé de consulter un médecin.

• En raison des éventuels effets secondaires,

les produits chimiques ne doivent être utili­sés qu’en cas d’infection avérée. Un médecin

est à même d’effectuer cette vérication et de

donner des indications de traitement.

Nettoyage et entretien

• Un nettoyage régulier et un bon entretien

garantissent des résultats optimals et prolon­gent la durée de vie de votre appareil.

• Nettoyez soigneusement le peigne à poux

après chaque utilisation, en particulier si vous
l’utilisez sur plusieurs personnes.

• Retirez les piles avant de nettoyer l’appareil.

• Pour le nettoyage du boîtier, utilisez un chif-

fon doux en papier ou en textile et pour le
nettoyage des dents du peigne, la brosse de
nettoyage 2 comprise dans la livraison.

• N‘utilisez pas de produits agressifs, par ex.

du lait récurant ou tout autre détergent pour
le nettoyage. Ceci peut endommager la sur­face.

• Ne jamais immerger l‘appareil pour le net-

toyer et éviter toute inltration d‘eau dans le

boîtier.

• N’exposez pas l’appareil au rayonnement di-

rect du soleil, protégez-le de la saleté et de
l’humidité.

• Retirez les piles de l’appareil lorsque vous ne

l’utilisez pas pendant une période prolongée.
Dans le cas contraire, les piles pourraient
couler.

• Un nettoyage soigneux et le respect des indi-

cations vous permettra d’avoir constamment
à disposition un appareil prêt à l’emploi. Le
nettoyage du produit n’a aucun effet négatif
sur la durée de vie de l’appareil.

• Rangez l’appareil dans un endroit propre, sec

et frais.

Problèmes et résolution

Problème : L’appareil et/ou la lumière LED ne
fonctionne pas.

Solution : Éteignez l’appareil et changez les
piles. Si après cela l’appareil et/ou la lumière
LED ne fonctionne toujours pas, adressez­vous au service après-vente.

• Ogni due denti, il pettine termina con una
forma arrotondata a perla 4. Prima dell’uso
si deve sempre vericare che non ne man­chi alcuna e che non siano danneggiate.
Altrimenti il pettine antipidocchi non può più
essere utilizzato.

• In caso di cattivo funzionamento non tentate
di ripararlo altrimenti si estingue il dirit to di
garanzia. Le riparazioni devono essere effet­tuate dai en tri di assisten za autorizzati.

• Si prega di notare che la modica e/o alter­azione del prodotto non è consentita. In caso

di modica e/o alterazione non autorizzata, il

diritto di garanzia decade.

• Siete autorizzati solamente a pulire
l’apparecchio.

• L’apparecchio va tenuto lontano dalle super­ci calde e va protetto dall’esposizione diret­ta ai raggi solari.

• L’apparecchio non va utilizzato nel caso in

• Per evitare che l’apparecchio venga dann­eggiato deve essere tenuto lontano, quando

è acceso, da vestiti, setole, li, corde, lacci,

nastri, ecc.

• L’apparecchio può dare, talvolta, la sensazi­one di pungere. È normale e non è assoluta­mente pericoloso.

• Il pettine antipidocchi deve essere pulito ac­curatamente dopo ogni uso, in particolare,
per ridurre il rischio di trasmissione nel caso
in cui ne facciano uso diverse persone.

• L’apparecchio va spento quando non viene
usato.

• Quando non viene utilizzato si deve semp­re rimettere la calotta di protezione 5
all’apparecchio.

Materiale in dotazione

Vericare in primo luogo che l’apparecchio

sia completo e che non vi siano segni di dan­ni. In caso di dubbi non mettere in funzione
l’apparecchio e rivolgersi al proprio rivenditore
o al proprio centro di assistenza.
Il materiale consegnato consta di:

• 1 MEDISANA Pettine antipidocchi elettrico

LC 870 con spazzolino per la pulizia

• 3 batterie da 1,5 V (di tipo AAA)

• 1 opuscolo d’istruzioni per l’uso

Le confezioni sono riutilizzabili o posso­no essere riciclate. Smaltire il materiale
d’imballaggio non più necessario in conformità
alle disposizioni vigenti. In caso di danneggia­menti dovuti al trasporto, mettersi immediata­mente in contatto con il proprio rivenditore.

Pericolo di soffocamento!

Che cosa sono i pidocchi del capo?

I pidocchi sono piccoli insetti privi di ali che si
nutrono di sangue depositandosi sulla testa
degli uomini.
Generalmente, i pidocchi adulti sono lunghi 2 o
3 mm e hanno un colore che varia dal bianco­grigio al marrone. Le uova dei pidocchi sono di
colore marrone-beige e sono attaccate al cuo­io capellutto, alla radice dei capelli. Le uova si
schiudono dopo 7 o 10 giorni, i gusci bianchi
schiusi si chiamano lendini. L’infestazione,
mediamente, comincia con circa 10 pidocchi.
Se non vengono adottati provvedimenti il nu­mero dei pidocchi può salire rapidamente a
200 su una sola testa. I pidocchi non possono
né saltare né volare per cui cambiano ospite
attraverso il contatto diretto fra due teste. Tut­tavia non si può impedire che i pidocchi conti­nuino a sopravvivere per breve tempo
anche sui tessuti. Diversamente dall’opinione
comune i pidocchi attaccano tutti i tipi di capelli
e non solo quelli sporchi e non lavati.

Particolarità del pettine antipidocchi
elettronico LC 870 MEDISANA
Il pettine antipidocchi elettronico LC 870 della
MEDISANA distrugge efcacemente i pidoc-

chi del capo senza l’impiego di sostanze chi­miche. Il pettine agisce per mezzo della tensi­one tra i denti che, al solo contatto, uccidono
immediatamente sia le uova che i pidocchi. La
tensione elettrica impiegata è così bassa che
non viene percipita da chi lo utilizza ed è asso­lutamente innocua. Contemporaneamente, un
segnale indica l’attività.
L’apparecchio funziona per mezzo di batterie
AAA comunemente in commercio. Il pettine
antipidocchi elettrico LC 870 della MEDISANA
è adatto sia per gli adulti sia per i bambini al
di sopra dei 3 anni. Il pettine può essere uti­lizzato anche per gli animali domestici, come
i cani e i gatti.

Modalità d’impiego
Inserire e rimuovere delle batterie

Rimuovere il coperchio del vano batterie 2 ed
inserire le batterie in dotazione (3 di tipo AAA).
Fare attenzione al verso di posizionamento
(+/-) delle batterie, come indicato all’interno
del vano batterie.
Rimettere la copertura della vana batteria 2.
Procedere nello stesso modo ad ogni sostitu­zione delle batterie.
Si consiglia di non utilizzare batterie ricaricabi­li. Rimuovere le batterie se si prevede di non
utilizzare l’apparecchio per molto tempo.

rimuovere le batterie dal dispositivo!

• Tenere le batterie lontano dalla portata
dei bambini!

• Non ricaricare le batterie! Pericolo di
esplosione!

• Non cortocircuitare! Pericolo di
esplosione!

• Non gettare nel fuoco!
Pericolo di esplosione!

• Tenere le batterie non utilizzate nella
confezione e lontano da oggetti metalli­ci, in modo da evitare cortocircuiti!

• Non gettare le batterie usate insieme
ai riuti do-mestici, smaltirle separata­mente oppure consegnarle a un punto
di raccolta batterie presso il rivenditore!

Utilizzo

1. Il pettine antipidocchi elettronico LC 870

può essere utilizzato solo a capello asciut­to. Sciogliere i capelli e sbrogliare eventuali
nodi o intrecci dei capelli di qualsiasi tipo
prima di utilizzare il pettine.

2. Per accendere l’apparecchio spingere

l’interruttore acceso/spento 1 in avanti/ in
su. Un forte suono ronzante segnala che
l’apparecchio è in funzione. La luce a LED

si accende e illumina l’area da pettina-

re. La luce a LED 3 consente di rilevare
i pidocchi o le lendini più velocemente e di

rendere quindi più efcace l’utilizzo.

3. Inclinare il pettine di 45° - 90° e passarlo

lentamente tra i capelli.

4. Passando il pettine il ronzio cessa breve-

mente e ripetutamente ogni qualvolta ucci­de un pidocchio o un uovo. Se il ronzio non

dovesse ricominciare signica che i denti

del pettine 4 sono pieni di pidocchi. Speg­nere il pettine. Per pulire i denti 4 usare lo
spazzolino per la pulizia 2 incorporato nel­la parte inferiore dell’impugnatura. Procede­re quindi con l’utilizzo del pettine. Impiegare
tutto il tempo necessario per pettinare accu­ratamente i capelli.

5. Non dimenticatevi di spegnere l’apparecchio

dopo l’uso e di pulirlo bene. Per proteggere
l’apparecchio quando non è in uso deve es­sere sempre rimessa la sua calotta di pro­tezione 5 .

6. Poiché il pettine antipidocchi elettrico LC
870 della MEDISANA uccide prevalente-

mente i pidocchi adulti, per essere sicuri che
tutti i pidocchi vengano uccisi deve essere
utilizzato quotidianamente per circa due set­timane.

7. Per evitare una nuova infestazione si consi­glia di utilizzare il pettine antipidocchi elett­ronico, per controllo o come misura preven­tiva, una volta alla settimana.

Consigli in caso di infestazione dei
pidocchi del capo

• L’utilizzo del pettine antipidocchi elettroni-

co non può essere afancato all’impiego di

sostanze chimiche. Nei casi più complessi si
deve consultare un medico.

• Inoltre, a causa dei possibili effetti collaterali,

le sostanze chimiche dovrebbero essere im­piegate solamente in caso di un’infestazione
conclamata. Questa può essere accertata da
un medico che può fornire anche delle indica­zioni terapeutiche.

Pulizia e manutenzione

• La pulizia regolare ed una buona manutenzi-

one assicurano risultati ottimali e prolungano
la durata dell’apparecchio.

• Pulire accuratamente il pettine antipidocchi

dopo ogni uso, in particolare, se viene impie­gato da diverse persone.

• Rimuovere le batterie prima di pulire

l’apparecchio.

• Per pulire l’involucro utilizzate un panno di

carta o di stoffa, morbido e asciutto, per pulire
i denti del pettine usate lo spazzolino incor­porato 2.

• Per pulire non utilizzare sostanze aggressive,

come ad es. creme abrasive o altri detergenti
analoghi che potrebbero danneggiare le su-

perci.

• Non immergere mai l’apparecchio in acqua

per pulirlo e sincerarsi che in esso non pe­netri dell’acqua.

• L’apparecchio non deve essere esposto di-

rettamente ai raggi solari e va protetto dallo
sporco e dall’umidità.

• Rimuovere le batterie dall’apparecchio se si

prevede di non utilizzarlo per molto tempo.
Sussiste comunque il rischio che le batterie
si scarichino.

• Un’accurata pulizia e il rispetto delle istruzio-

ni garantiscono un dispositivo sempre pronto
all’uso. La pulizia del prodotto non ha effetti
negativi sulla durata di vita del dispositivo.

• Collocare l’apparecchio in un posto pulito,

fresco e secco.

Errore e rimedio

Problema: Il dispositivo e/o la luce a LED non
funziona.

Soluzione: Spegnere il dispositivo e sostituire
le batterie. Se il dispositivo e/o la luce a LED
continua a non funzionare contattare il servizio
assistenza.

Smaltimento

L‘apparecchio non può essere
smaltito insieme ai riuti domestici.
Ogni utilizzatore ha l‘obbligo di gett-

repare el aparato usted mismo, ya que la

¿Qué son los piojos?

Los piojos son pequeños insectos ápteros que

se nutren de la sangre de la cabeza humana.
Los piojos completamente adultos tienen en
general 2 – 3 mm de longitud y su color varía

de blanco grisáceo hasta marrón. Los huevos

de los piojos son de color beige amarronado
y se adhieren a la raíz del pelo sobre el cuero
cabelludo. Los piojos se abren tras 7 – 10
días; las cáscaras blancas que quedan se de­nominan liendres.
La infestación abarca de media unos 10
piojos. Si no se toman medidas, la cantidad

puede ascender rápidamente hasta 200 piojos

en una cabeza. Los piojos no pueden saltar o

El peine antipiojos eléctrico LC 870 de
MEDISANA elimina ecazmente los piojos

(sin utilizar productos químicos). Produce una
tensión entre los dientes que al contacto mata

instantáneamente tanto a los huevos como a

los piojos. La aplicación de tensión eléctrica
es tan reducida que es totalmente inocua y no
es perceptible para el usuario. Al mismo tiem­po se indica la actividad del peine mediante un
sonido. Funciona con pilas AAA convenciona­les. El peine antipiojos eléctrico MEDISANA
LC 870 es adecuado tanto para adultos como
para niños mayores de 3 años. El peine tam­bién es adecuado para utilizarlo en animales

Aplicación
Poner / sacar las pilas

Retire la tapa del compartimento de las pilas

y meta las pilas adjuntas (3 de tipo AAA).

Compruebe la posición de las pilas (+/-), tal
como se indica en las pilas y en el interior del
compartimento. Vuelva a colocar la cubierta
del compartimento de las pilas 2. En caso de
un cambio de pilas proceda del mismo modo.
Se recomienda no utilizar pilas recargables. Si
no va a utilizar el aparato durante un tiempo
prolongado, retire las pilas del mismo.

Manejo

1. El peine antipiojos eléctrico LC 870 sólo

puede utilizarse sobre el cabello seco.
Desenrede el cabello y elimine cualquier
tipo de nudo o trenzado antes de utilizar el
peine.

2. Para encender el aparato desplace el inter-

ruptor de CON./DESCON 1. Hacia delante
/ arriba. Un zumbido indica que el aparato

está funcionando. La luz LED 3 se enci­ende e ilumina el área a peinar. La luz LED

le permite detectar con mayor facilidad

piojos o liendres y así conseguir un uso más
ecaz.

3. Disponga el aparato en un ángulo de 45° –

90° y guíelo lentamente a través del pelo.

4. Mientras peina el pelo, el zumbido desapa-

rece momentáneamente cada vez que se

elimina un piojo o huevo. Si el zumbido no
reaparece, los dientes del peine 4 estan
llenos. Desconecte el peine. Utilice enton-

ces el pequeño cepillo limpiador 2, que

se encuentra incorporado en el extremo
del mango para limpiar los dientes 4. Se­guidamente puede continuar la aplicación.
Tómese el tiempo necesario para peinar el
cabello minuciosamente.

5. No olvide desconectar el aparato y limpiarlo

a fondo después de utilizarlo. Cuando no
utilice el aparato, coloque siempre la ca­peruza protectora 5 sobre éste para pro­tegerlo.

6. Debido a que el peine antipiojos eléctrico
MEDISANA LC 870 mata sobre todo los

piojos adultos, debe continuar con la apli­cación diaria durante unas dos semanas
todavía para asegurarse de eliminar todos
los piojos.

7. Para prevenir una nueva infestación se
recomienda utilizar el peine antipiojos
eléctrico una vez a la semana como control
o como medida preventiva.

Consejos en caso de infestación por piojos

• La utilización del peine antipiojos eléctrico

puede complementarse con la aplicación de
productos químicos. En casos especiales
debe consultar a un médico.

• En principio sólo deben utilizarse produc-

tos químicos cuando existe realmente una
infestación de piojos, debido a los efectos
secundarios que pueden producir. Un médico
puede comprobarlo y proporcionarle conse­jos para el tratamiento.

Limpieza y cuidado

• Una limpieza periódica y un buen manteni-

miento aseguran resultados óptimos y alar­gan la vida útil de su aparato.

• Limpie el peine antipiojos minuciosamente

después de cada uso, especialmente cuando
se vaya a utilizar en varias personas.

• Retire las pilas antes de limpiar el aparato.

• Para limpiar la carcasa, utilice un paño o

papel suave y seco y, para la limpieza de los
dientes del peine, el cepillo limpiador sumi­nistrado 2.

• Por favor no utilice soluciones abrasivas ni

cualquier otro detergente para la limpieza, ya
que de lo contrario se podría producir corro-

sión de las supercies.

• No sumerja el aparato nunca en agua para

limpiarlo y asegúrese de que no penetre
agua en el mismo.

• No exponga el aparato a la radiación solar

directa y protéjalo de la suciedad y la hume­dad.

• Si no va a utilizar el aparato durante un tiem-

po prolongado, retire las pilas del mismo. En
caso contrario existe el peligro de que pro­duzca un derrame del líquido de las pilas.

• Si lo limpia en profundidad y sigue las

instrucciones tendrá siempre un aparato pre­parado para el uso. La limpieza del producto
no surte ningún efecto negativo en su vida
útil.

• Guarde el aparato en un lugar limpio, seco

y fresco.

Fallos y eliminación de fallos

Problema: El aparato y/o la luz LED no fun­ciona.

Solución: Encienda el aparato y cambie las pi­las. Y el aparato o la luz LED sigue sin funcio­nar, póngase en contacto con el departamento
de atención al cliente.

Indicaciones para la eliminación

Este aparato no se debe eliminar
por medio de la recogida de basu­ras doméstica. Todos los usuarios

• Em caso de falhas, não tente reparar o apa-

relho, pois, caso contrário, qu alquer direito

• A modicação ou alteração do produto por

• Por vezes, o aparelho transmite uma sen­sação de formigueiro. Isto é normal e com­pletamente inofensivo.

• Desligue o aparelho quando o mesmo já não

O que são piolhos?

Os piolhos são pequenos insectos sem asas
que se alimentam do sangue nas cabeças
de pessoas. Os piolhos totalmente crescidos
possuem um tamanho normal de 2 – 3 mm e
variam na sua cor, desde branco acizentado
até castanho. Os ovos dos piolhos possuem

uma cor bege acastanhada e cam presos à

raiz do cabelo perto da pele da cabeça. Os

piolhos nascem após 7 - 10 dias; os casulos

vazios que permanecem são designados por
lêndeas.
A quantidade média de piolhos é de aproxima­damente 10 piolhos. Quando não for possível

estabelecer medidas contrárias, a quantidade

de piolhos pode aumentar rapidamente para
até 200 piolhos numa cabeça. Os piolhos não
conseguem saltar nem voar e, por isso trans­ferem-se de pessoa para pessoas através do
contacto directo de cabeça com cabeça. Con­tudo, não se pode evitar que os piolhos sobre­vivam durante um breve período de tempo em
têxteis. Os piolhos hospedam-se em qualquer
tipo de cabelos, e não apenas em cabelos su­jos e não lavados.

Particularidades do pente anti-piolhos
electrónico LC 870 da MEDISANA
O pente anti-piolhos electrónico LC 870 da
MEDISANA destrói ecazmente os piolhos -

sem a utilização de agentes químicos. Ele tra­balha com uma tensão entre os dentes, a qual
aniquila imediatamente tanto os ovos como os
piolhos assim que tocar neles. A utilização da
tensão eléctrica é tão baixa que não é sentida
pelo utilizador e é completamente inofensiva.
Em simultâneo, a actividade do pente é indi­cada através de um som. O funcionamento é
realizado com 3 pilhas AAA normal.
O pente anti-piolhos electrónico LC 870 da
MEDISANA destina-se a adultos e crianças
com idades superiores a 3 anos. O pente tam­bém é adequado para a aplicação em animais
domésticos, como cães e gatos.

Aplicação
Colocar/ substituir as pilhas

Retire a tampa do compartimento de pilhas 2
e insira as baterias fornecidas (3 x tipo AAA).
Observe o sentido (+/-) das pilhas, de acordo

como está indicado nas pilhas e no interior do

compartimento de pilhas. Volte a colocar a
cobertura do compartimento da pilha 2 colo­cando. Em caso de substituição da pilha, pro­ceda do mesmo modo. Recomenda-se a não

utilização de pilhas recarregáveis. Remova a

pilha do aparelho quando ele não for utilizado
durante um período de tempo prolongado.

Utilização

1. O pente anti-piolhos electrónico LC 870

apenas pode ser utilizado em cabelos se­cos. Antes de utilizar o pente, desembara­ce o cabelo e liberte-o de qualquer tipo de
eventuais nós.

2. Para ligar o aparelho, desloque o interrup-

tor de LIGAR/DESLIGAR 1 para a frente/
cima. Um som de aviso elevado indica que

o aparelho está em funcionamento. A luz

LED 3 acende-se e ilumina a área a ser
penteada. A luz LED 3 permite-lhe detetar
piolhos e lêndeas mais rapidamente, torn-

ando assim o aparelho mais ecaz.

3. Coloque o pente num ângulo de 45° - 90° e

deslize-o lentamente pelos cabelos.

4. Enquanto penteia os cabelos, o zunido será

suprimido por breves instantes sempre que
um piolho ou um ovo tiver sido destruído. Se
deixar de ouvir o zunido, os dentes do pen­te 4 estão cheios. Desligue o pente. Em
primeiro lugar, utilize a escova de limpeza
pequena 2, a qual está integrada na extre­midade da pega para limpar os dentes 4.
Em seguida, proceda à aplicação. Penteie o
cabelo exaustivamente e com tempo.

5. Não se esqueça de desligar e limpar cui-

dadosamente o aparelho após a utilização.
Como protecção, em caso de não utilização,
coloque sempre a tampa de protecção 5
no aparelho.

6. Como o pente anti-piolhos electrónico LC
870 da MEDISANA aniquila sobretudo piol-

hos crescidos, terá de continuar a aplicação
diária durante aprox. duas semanas para
se certicar de que todos os piolhos foram

mortos.

7. Para prevenir uma nova contaminação,
recomenda-se a utilização, pelo menos,
uma vez por semana para o controlo ou
como medida preventiva.

Conselhos em caso de contaminação de
piolhos

• A aplicação do pente anti-piolhos electró-

nico pode ser completada com a utilização
de agentes químicos. Em casos especiais,
deve-se consultar um médico.

• Geralmente, os agentes químicos apenas

devem ser utilizados quando existe realmen­te uma contaminação de piolhos devido aos

seus possíveis efeitos secundários. Um mé­dico pode vericar o mesmo e dar instruções

para o tratamento.

Limpeza e conservação

• Uma limpeza regular e uma manutenção

cuidadosa garantem resultados óptimos e
prolongam o tempo de vida do seu aparelho.

• Limpe o pente anti-piolhos cuidadosamente

após cada utilização, em especial, quando o

mesmo serve para tratar várias pessoas.

• Antes de limpar o aparelho, remova a pilha.

• Para a limpeza da caixa, utilize um pano de

papel ou têxtil seco e macio, para a limpeza
dos dentes do pente, utilize a escova de lim­peza fornecida 2.

• Por favor, não utilize substâncias agressi-

vas como, p.ex. creme de limpeza ou outros
detergentes semelhantes para a limpeza.

A superfície pode ser danicada.

• Para limpar o aparelho nunca o mergulhe

em água e preste atenção paranunca entrar
água para dentro do aparelho.

• Não exponha o aparelho aos raios solares

directos e proteja-o da sujidade e da humi­dade.

• Remova a pilha do aparelho quando ele não

for utilizado durante um período de tempo

prolongado. Caso contrário, existe perigo da

pilha babar-se.

• A limpeza cuidada e o cumprimento das

instruções permitirão que tenha um equipa­mento sempre pronto a utilizar. A limpeza
do equipamento não afeta negativamente o
tempo de vida útil do mesmo.

• Guarde o aparelho num local limpo, seco e

fresco.

Erros e resolução

Problema: o equipamento ou a luz LED não
funcionam.

Solução: desligue o aparelho e substitua a
bateria. Se o equipamento ou a luz LED conti­nuarem a não funcionar, contacte o centro de
assistência.

Indicações sobre a eliminação

Este aparelho não pode ser eli­minado em conjunto com o lixo
doméstico. Cada consumidor tem
o dever de entregar qualquer apa­relho eléctrico ou electrónico com
ou sem substâncias nocivas nos
postos de recolha públicos da sua

Lees de gebruiksaanwijzing, in het
bijzonder de veiligheidsinstruc­ties, zorvuldig door vooraleer u het
apparaat gebruikt en bewaar de
gebruiksaanwijzing voor verder
gebruik. Als u het toestel aan
derden doorgeeft, geef dan deze
gebruiksaanwijzing absoluut mee.

• Gebruik het toestel alleen maar waarvoor het
bedoeld is volgens de gebruiksaanwijzing
binnen de vermelde milieuvoorwaarden.

• Bij ondoel ma tig gebruik vervalt de aan­spraak op garantie.

• Het toestel is niet voor commercieel gebruik
bestemd.

• Dit toestel is niet bestemd om door perso­nen (inclusief kinderen) met beperkte fysie­ke, sensorische of geestelijke capaciteiten of
een gebrek aan ervaring en/of kennis gebru­ikt te worden, tenzij ze door een voor hun
veiligheid bevoegde persoon gecontroleerd

haar.

• Gebruik het toestel niet op beschadigde
huid.

• Vermijd bij het gebruik van de elektro­nische luiskam absoluut het directe con­tact met de oren, de ogen en de mond. Bij
aanraking van de metalen tanden kaner
een pijnlijke, maar ongevaarlijke elektri­sche impuls ontstaan.

• De kam heeft afgeronde parelvormige uitein­den aan elke tweede tand 4. Controleer
voor elk gebruik of er geen tanden ontbreken
of beschadigd zijn. Anders mag de luiskam
niet meer gebruikt worden.

• Repareer in het geval van storingen het toe­stel niet zelf, omdat hierdoor elk e aanspraak
op garantie vervalt. Laat reparaties alleen
door geautoriseerde service werkplaatsen
uit voeren.

• Let erop dat het ombouwen en/of wijzigen
van het product op eigen initiatief niet toege­staan is. In geval van ombouwen en/of wij­zigen op eigen initiatief vervalt de aanspraak
op garantie.

• U zelf mag het toestel alleen reinigen.

• Houd het toestel uit de buurt van hete op­pervlakken en bescherm het tegen direct
zonlicht.

• Gebruik het toestel niet in de nabijheid van
elektromagnetische zenders met hoge fre­quentie.

• Bescherm het toestel tegen vochtigheid. Als
er toch eens vocht in het toestel dringt, dan
moeten de batterijen onmiddellijk verwijderd
worden en moet verder gebruik vermeden
worden. Neem in dit geval met uw deal er
contact op of breng ons direct op de hoogte.

• Gebruik het toestel niet als behuizing of
kamtanden beschadigd zijn, het toestel niet
perfect functioneert, als het gevallen of in het
water gevallen is.

• Vermijd ongevallen en schade aan het toe­stel door het toestel in ingeschakelde toe­stand uit de buurt van kleding, borstels, dra­den, snoeren, veters enz. te houden.

• Het toestel geeft soms een kriebelend gevo­el. Dat is normaal en volkomen ongevaarlijk.

• Reinig de hoofdluiskam zorgvuldig na elk
gebruik, vooral als er meerdere personen
mee behandeld worden om het risico op
overdracht te verminderen.

• Schakel het toestel uit als het niet meer in
gebruik is.

• Plaats bij niet-gebruik de beschermkap 5
altijd op het toestel.

Levering en verpakking

Gelieve eerst te controleren of het instrument
volledig is en volledig vrij van beschadigin­gen is. In geval van twijfel neemt u het toestel
niet in bedrijf en neemt u contact op met uw
handelaar of uw servicepunt.

Bij de levering horen:

• 3 batterijen 1,5 V (type AAA)

• 1 gebruiksaanwijzing

Het verpakkingsmateriaal kan opnieuw wor­den gebruikt of gerecycled. Zorg ervoor dat het
gebruikte verpakkingsmateriaal bij de daar­voor bestemde af- valverwerking terechtkomt.
Indien u tijdens het uitpakken transportschade
constateert, neem dan direct contact op met
uw leverancier.

WAARSCHUWING
Let er op dat het verpakkingsma­teriaal niet in handen komt van
kinderen. Zij kunnen er in stikken!

Wat zijn hoofdluizen?

Hoofdluizen zijn kleine, vleugelloze insec­ten die zich met het bloed op de hoofden
van mensen voeden. Volgroeide luizen zijn
gewoonlijk 2-3 mm lang en variëren qua
kleur van grijsachtig wit tot bruin. De eitjes
van hoofdluizen hebben een beige-bruine
kleur en plakken aan de haarinplant op de
hoofdhuid. Hoofdluizen komen uit na 7-10 da-

gen; de achter-blijvende witte schalen noemt

men neten.
De gemiddelde aantasting omvat ca. 10
hoofdluizen. Als er geen tegenmaatregelen
getroffen worden, kan het aantal snel tot 200
luizen op één hoofd groeien. Hoofdluizen
kunnen niet springen of vliegen en wisselen
daardoor van gastheer door direct contact
van hoofd tot hoofd. Er kan echter niet ver­meden worden dat luizen ook op textiel kort
overleven. In tegenstelling tot wat algemeen
verondersteld wordt, kunnen hoofdluizen in
alle soorten haar voorkomen, dus niet alleen
in ongewassen of vuil haar.

Bijzonderheden van de MEDISANA
elektronische hoofdluiskam LC 870
De elektronische hoofdluiskam LC 870 van
MEDISANA vernietigt op een doeltreffende

manier hoofdluizen zonder het gebruik van
chemische middelen. Hij werkt met een span­ning tussen de tanden, die zowel eitjes alsook
luizen bij contact onmiddellijk doodt. De elek­trische spanning is zo gering dat hij voor de
gebruiker niet waarneembaar en volledig on­gevaarlijk is. Tegelijk wordt de activiteit van de
kam door een signaal aangegeven.
Het toestel werkt op gewone AAA-batterijen.
De MEDISANA elektronische hoofdluiskam
LC 870 is voor volwassenen en kinderen van
meer dan 3 jaar geschikt. De kam is ook voor
het gebruik bij huisdieren, zoals honden en
katten, geschikt.

Het Gebruik
Batterijen plaatsen/verwijderen

Verwijder het deksel van het batterijvak 2 en
plaats de meegeleverde batterijen (3 x type
AAA) erin. Let op de juiste richting (+/-) van
de batterijen, zoals aangegeven op de batteri­jen en aan de binnenkant van het batterijvak.
Plaats de afdekking van het batterijvaker 2
op-nieuw op. Ga bij het vervangen van de bat­terijen op dezelfde manier te werk. Er wordt
aangeraden om geen heroplaadbare batteri­jen te gebruiken. Neem de batterij uit het to­estel als u hem langere tijd niet wilt gebruiken.

• Batterij- en toestelcontacten voor het
plaatsen van de batterijen indien nodig
reinigen!

• Lege batterijen onmiddellijk uit het

• Verhoogd uitloopgevaar, contact met
huid, ogen en slijmhuid vermijden! Bij
contact met accuzuur de betreffende
plaatsen onmiddellijk met overvloedig
helder water spoelen en onmiddellijk
een arts opzoeken!

• Mocht er een batterij ingeslikt zijn, dan
moet onmiddellijk een arts opgezocht
worden!

• Plaats de batterijen correct, neem de
polariteit in acht!

• Houd het batterijvak goed gesloten!

• Batterijen bij langer niet-gebruik uit het
toestel verwijderen!

• Batterijen uit de buurt van kinderen
houden!

• Batterijen niet heropladen! Er bestaat
explosiegevaar!

• Niet kortsluiten! Er bestaat explosiege­vaar!

• Niet in het vuur werpen! Er bestaat
explosiegevaar!

• Bewaar onverbruikte batterijen in de
verpakking en niet in de buurt van me­talen voorwerpen om een kortsluiting te
vermijden!

• Geef verbruikte batterijen en accu‘s niet
met het gewone huisvuil mee, maar met
het speciale afval of in een batterijverza­melstation in de vakhandel!

Bediening

1. De elektronische hoofdluiskam LC 870 mag

alleen op droog haar toegepast worden.
Ontwar het haar en maak alle knopen of
vlechten in het haar los voor u de kam ge­bruikt.

2. Om het toestel in te schakelen, schuift u de

AAN/UIT-schakelaar 1 naar voren / bo­ven. Een hoge zoemtoon geeft aan dat het
toestel werkt. Het ledlicht 3 gaat aan en
verlicht het te kammen gebied. Het ledlicht

maakt het mogelijk om luizen of neten

snel te herkennen en daardoor het gebruik

efciënter vorm te geven.

3. Breng de kam in een hoek van 45° - 90° en

leid hem langzaam door het hoofhaar.

4. Terwijl u het haar kamt, zal het zoemen kort

verstommen als een luis of een eitje ver­nietigd wordt. Als het zoemen daarna niet
opnieuw begint, zijn de kamtanden 4 vol.
Schakel de kam uit. Gebruik eerst de kleine
reinigingsborstel 2, die zich geïntegreerd
aan het einde van de handgreep bevindt,
om de tanden 4 te reinigen. Ga daarna
met de toepassing door. Neem de tijd om
het haar grondig te doorkammen.

5. Vergeet niet om het toestel na gebruik uit

te schakelen en grondig te reinigen. Ter be­scherming plaatst u bij niet-gebruik altijd de
beschermkap 5 op het toestel.

6. Omdat de MEDISANA elektronische
hoofdluiskam LC 870 vooral volgroei­de luizen doodt, moet u de dagelijkse
toepassing nog gedurende ca. twee weken
voortzetten om zeker te zijn dat alle luizen
vernietigd worden.

7. Om een nieuwe besmetting te vermij­den, wordt aangeraden om de elektro­nische hoofdluiskam een keer per week ter
controle of als preventieve maatregel te ge­bruiken.

Tips bij besmetting met hoofdluizen

• Het gebruik van de elektronische hoofdluis-

kam kan met het gebruik van chemische mid­delen aangevuld worden. In bijzondere ge­vallen moet een arts geraadpleegd worden.

• Principieel mogen chemische middelen

wegens de mogelijke nevenwerkingen alleen
toegepast worden als er ook werkelijk sprake
is van besmetting met hoofdluizen. Een arts
kan dit controleren en ook behandelingstips
geven.

Reiniging en onderhoud

• Regelmatige reiniging en goed onderhoud

garanderen optimale resultaten en verlengen
de levensduur van uw toestel.

• Reinig de luiskam zorgvuldig na elk gebruik,

vooral als het toestel door verschillende per­sonen gebruikt wordt.

• Verwijder de batterijen voor u het toestel rei-

nigt.

• Voor de reiniging van het toestel gebruikt u

een droge, zachte papieren of textieldoek,
voor de reiniging van de kamtanden de bijge­leverde reinigingsborstel 2.

• Gebruik geen agressieve reinigingsmiddelen

zoals schuurvloeistof of andere spoelmidde­len. Deze kunnen het oppervlak beschadi­gen.

• Dompel het instrument voor de reiniging nooit

in water onder, en voorkom dat er vocht in het
instrument binnendringt.

• Stel het toestel niet aan direct zonlicht bloot,

bescherm het tegen vuil en vochtigheid.

• Neem de batterijen uit het toestel als u hem

langere tijd niet wilt gebruiken. Het gevaar
bestaat dat de batterijen uitlopen.

• Bij zorgvuldige reiniging en opvolging van de

instructies hebt u steeds een gebruiksklaar
apparaat ter beschikking. De reiniging van
het product heeft geen negatieve effecten op
de levensduur van het toestel.

• Bewaar het toestel op een schone, droge en

koele plaats.

Fouten en foutverhelping

Probleem: Toestel en/of ledlicht functioneert
niet.

Oplossing: Schakel het toestel uit en vervang
de batterijen. Werkt het toestel en/of het led­licht nog niet, neem dan contact op met de
serviceplaats.

Afvalbeheer

Dit apparaat mag niet samen met
het huishoudelijk afval worden
aangeboden. Iedere consument is
verplicht, alle elektrische of elektro­nische apparaten, ongeacht of die
schadelijke stoffen bevatten of niet,
bij een milieudepot in zijn stad of
bij de handelaar af te geven, zodat
ze op een milieuvriendelijke manier

kunnen worden verwijderd.
Haal de batterijen uit het apparaat voordat u
het apparaat verwijdert.
Gooi gebruikte batterijen niet bij het huisvuil,
maar breng deze naar de daarvoor bestem­de afvalverwerking of lever deze in bij een
speciaal daarvoor bestemd inzamelstation bij
de supermarkt of elektrawinkelier. Wendt u
zich betreffende het afvalbeheer tot uw ge­meente of handelaar.

Garantie en reparatievoorwaarden

Wendt u zich voor garantiegevallen altijd tot
uw leverancier of tot onze klantendienst. Moet
u het apparaat opsturen, stuur het dan samen
met de klacht en een kopie van de aankoop­bon naar onze klantendienst.
Voor garantie gelden de volgende voor­waarden:

1. Voor de producten van MEDISANA geldt
een garantietermijn van drie jaar vanaf de
datum van aankoop. Deze kan door middel
van de verkoopbon of factuur worden
aangetoond.

2. Alle klachten, die het gevolg zijn van
materiaal- en/of fabricagefouten worden
binnen de garantietermijn kosteloos
verholpen.

3. Een geval van garantie leidt niet tot
automatische verlenging van de
garantietermijn, noch voor het apparaat
zelf noch voor de vervangbare onderdelen.

4. Uitgesloten van garantie zijn:
a. Alle schade die ontstaan is door
ondeskundige behandeling, b.v. het niet
op de juiste wijze volgen van de
gebruiksaanwijzing.

Pakkauksia voidaan käyttää uudelleen tai ne
voidaan kierrättää takaisin raakaainekiertoon.
Hävitä tarpeeton pakkausmateriaali asianmu­kaisella tavalla. Mikäli pakkausta avatessasi
havaitset kuljetusvaurion, ota heti yhteyttä
tuotteen myyneeseen liikkeeseen.

VAROITUS
Huolehdi siitä, etteivät pakkaus­muovit joudu lasten käsiin! On
olemassa tukehtumisvaara!

Mitä täit ovat?

Täit ovat pieniä, siivettömiä hyönteisiä,
jotka saavat ravintonsa ihmisten pään verestä.
Täyskasvuiset täit ovat yleensä 2–3 mm pitkiä,
ja niiden väri vaihtelee harmaanvalkoisesta
ruskeaan. Täiden munat ovat beigeruskeita ja
ne liimautuvat päänahan hiustyveen.
Täit kuoriutuvat 7–10 päivässä, jäljelle jäänei­tä valkoisia kuoria nimitetään saivareiksi.
Keskimäärin täin munia on noin 10. Jos niitä
vastaan ei tehdä mitään, voi määrä nousta
nopeasti jopa 200 täihin päänahassa. Täit
eivät osaa hypätä, eivätkä lentää, ne vaihta­vat isäntää sen vuoksi ainoastaan suorassa
päästäpäähän-kosketuksessa. Täit voivat
kuitenkin elää lyhyen aikaa myös tekstiileissä.
Vastoin yleisiä oletuksia, täit asuttavat kaiken­laisia hiuksia – ei pelkästään pesemättömiä tai
likaisia.

Erikoisuuksia MEDISANA
sähköisessätäikammassa LC 870

Sähköinen täikampa LC 870 MEDISANA
tuhoaa tehokkaasti täitä – ilman kemiallisia
aineita. Se toimiin piikkien välisen jännitteen
avulla, joka tappaa sekä munat että täit vä­littömästi koskettamalla. Sähköjännite on niin
alhainen, että käyttäjä tuskin huomaa sitä,
se on myös täysin vaaraton. Samaan aikaan
kamman aktiivisuus ilmaistaan äänellä.
Se toimii tavallisilla AAA-paristoilla.

MEDISANA sähkökäyttöinen täikampa LC
870 sopii sekä aikuisille että yli 3-vuotiaille lap-

sille. Kampa sopii käytettäväksi myös kotieläi­mille, kuten koirille ja kissoille.

Käyttö
Pariston asetus/poisto

Irrota paristolokeron kansi 2 ja aseta mukana
toimitetut paristot (3 x AAA) paikalleen. Nou­data paristoissa ja paristolokeron sisällä olevia
paristojen suuntamerkintöjä (+/-). Aseta paris­tolokeron kansi 2 uudelleen paikalleen; aseta
ensin sanka alapäässä paikalleen ja paina sit­ten yläpään lukitusta koteloon, kunnes se lok­sahtaa paikalleen. Toimi paristoja vaihtaessasi
samoin. Suosittelemme, ettet käytä uudelleen
ladattavia paristoja. Poista paristot laitteesta,
jos et käytä sitä pitkään aikaan.

VAROITUS
PARISTO-TURVAOHJEITA

• Akkuja ja paristoja ei saa purkaa!

• Puhdista pariston ja laitteen kontakti­pisteet tarvittaessa ennen paristojen
asetusta!

• Poista tyhjät akut ja paristot välittömästi
laitteesta!

• Kohonnut vuotovaara, vältä kontaktia
ihon, silmien ja limakalvojen kanssa!
Jos joudut akkuhapon kanssa koske­tuksiin, huuhtele vastaavat kohdat vä­littömästi runsaalla vedellä ja hakeudu
lääkärin hoitoon!

• Jos paristo tai akku nielaistaan, hakeu­du välittömästi lääkärin hoitoon!

• Aseta paristot oikein paikalleen,
huomioi napaisuus!

• Pidä paristolokero aina suljettuna!

• Poista paristot ja akut laitteesta jos et
käytä sitä pitkään aikaan!

• Pidä paristot poissa lasten ulottuvilta!

• Akkuja ja paristoja ei saa ladata!
Räjähdysvaara!

• Liitä oikein! Räjähdysvaara!

• Älä heitä tuleen! Räjähdysvaara!

• Säilytä käyttämättömät paristot pak­kauksessa. Älä säilytä niitä metalliesin­eiden lähellä, ettei synny oikosulkua!

• Älä heitä käytettyjä paristoja ja akkuja
talousjätteen sekaan, vaan ongelma­jätteisiin tai paristojen keräyspisteisiin!

Käyttö

1. Sähkökäyttöistä täikampaa LC 870 saa

käyttää vain kuiviin hiuksiin. Selvitä hiukset
ja poista kaikki mahdolliset takkukohdat, en­nen kun käytät kampaa.

2. Kytkeäksesi laitteen päälle, paina PÄÄLLE/

POIS-kytkintä 1 eteen/ylös. Korkea sum­meriääni ilmaisee laitteen toiminnan. LED­valo 3 syttyy ja valaisee kammattavan
alueen. LED-valon 3 avulla tunnistat täit tai
saivareet nopeammin ja voit käyttää laitetta
tehokkaammalla tavalla.

3. Aseta kampa 45° – 90° kulmaan ja vie se

hitaasti hiuksien läpi.

4. Kun kampaat hiuksia, mykistyy summeriää-

ni aina hetkeksi, kun täi tai muna tuhoutuu.
Jos et kuule summeriääntä enää sen
jälkeen, ovat kamman piikit 4 täynnä.
Katkaise kammasta virta. Käytä seuraavak­si pientä käsikahvan päässä olevaa puh­distusharjaa 2 puhdistaaksesi piikit 4.
Jatka sitten käyttöä. Hiusten huolelliseen
kampaamiseen kannattaa varata aikaa.

5. Älä unohda katkaista laitteesta virtaa ja puh-

distaa sitä käytön jälkeen. Suojaa laite aina
suojuksella, kun sitä ei käytetä 5 .

6. Koska MEDISANA sähkökäyttöinen täikam­pa LC 870 tappaa ennen kaikkea täysikas­vuiset täit, tulee käyttöä jatkaa vielä kahden
viikon ajan, sen varmistamiseksi, että kaikki
täit on tuhottu.

7. Uuden tartunnan välttämiseksi suosittelem­me, että käytät sähkökäyttöistä täikampaa
kerran viikossa kontrolliksi tai ennalta ehkä­isevänä toimenpiteenä.

Vinkkejä täiden ilmaantuessa

• Sähkökäyttöisen täikamman käyttöä voi vah-

vistaa kemiallisten aineiden käytöllä. Eriko­istapauksissa kannattaa kysyä neuvoa lää­käriltä.

• Kemiallisia aineita tulisi aina sivuvaikutusten

vuoksi käyttää ainoastaan, kun täitartunta on
todellakin olemassa. Lääkäri voi tarkastaa
tämän ja antaa menettelyohjeita.

Puhdistus ja hoito

• Säännöllinen puhdistus ja hyvä huolto var-

mistavat hyvät tulokset ja pidentävät laitteesi
käyttöaikaa.

• Puhdista täikampa huolellisesti jokaisen käy-

tön jälkeen, jos sitä käyttää useampi henkilö.

• Poista paristot, ennen kuin puhdistat laitteen.

• Käytä kotelon puhdistukseen kuivaa, pehme-

ää paperia tai kangaspyyhettä, kamman piik­kien puhdistukseen oheista puhdistusharjaa

.

• Älä käytä puhdistukseen voimakkaita puhdis-

tusaineita, kuten esim. hankausnestettä tai
muita pesuaineita. Ne saattavat vahingoittaa
laitteen pintaa.

• Älä koskaan kasta laitetta veteen ja varo,

ettei laitteeseen pääse vettä.

• Laitetta ei saa asettaa suoraan auringonpais-

teeseen, suojaa se lialta ja kosteudelta.

• Poista paristot laitteesta, jos et käytä sitä pit-

kään aikaan.Muuten on olemassa vaara, että
paristot vuotavat.

• Laite on aina käyttövalmiina, kun pudistat sen

huolellisesti ja noudatat käyttöohjeita. Tuot­teen puhdistaminen ei vaikuta negatiivisesti
laitteen käyttöikään.

• Varastoi laite kuivassa, puhtaassa ja viileäs-

sä paikassa.

Häiriöt ja korjaus

Ongelma: Laite ja/tai LED-valo ei toimi.

Korjaus: Kytke virta laitteesta ja vaihda paris­tot. Ota yhteyttä huoltopisteeseen, mikäli laite
ja/tai LED-valo ei toimi edelleenkään.

Hävittämisohjeita

Tätä laitetta ei saa hävittää talous­jätteiden mukana. Jokainen kulutta­ja on velvoitettu luovuttamaan kaik­ki sähköiset tai elektroniset laitteet,
sisältävätpä ne haitallisia aineita
tai eivät, kaupunkinsa tai liikkeen
keräyspisteeseen, jotta laitteet voi­taisiin hävittää ympäristöystävälli-

sesti. Poista paristo ennen laitteen
hävittämistä. Älä heitä käytettyjä paristoja
ja akkuja kotitalousjätteisiin, vaan ongelma­jätteisiin tai toimita ne alan liikkeessä olevaan
keräyspisteeseen.
Ota yhteyttä paikalliseen viranomaiseen tai
myyjäliikkeeseen hävityksen suorittamiseksi.

Takuu- ja korjausehdot

Käänny takuutapauksessa alan liikkeen tai
suoraan asiakaspalveluhuollon puoleen. Jos
laite tulee lähettää huoltoon, ilmoita vika ja
lähetä laitteen mukana kopio ostokuitista.

Tällöin ovat voimassa seuraavat takuuehdot:

1. MEDISANA-tuotteille myönnetään kolmen
vuoden takuu myyntipäiväyksestä.
Myyntipäiväys tulee todistaa
takuutapauksessa ostokuitilla tai laskulla.

2. Materiaali- tai valmistusvioista johtuvat
puutteet korjataan takuuaikana maksutta.

3. Takuukorjaus ei pidennä takuuaikaa, ei
laitteelle eikä vaihdetulle rakenneosalle.

4. Takuun ulkopuolelle jäävät:
a. kaikki vahingot, jotka syntyvät
asiattomasta käsittelystä, esim.
käyttöohjeen noudattamatta
jättämisestä.
b. Vahingot, joiden syyksi voidaan jäjittää
ostajan tai asiattoman kolmannen
osapuolen suorittama kunnossapito tai
toimet.
c. Kuljetusvauriot, jotka ovat syntyneet
matkalla valmistajalta kuluttajalle tai
asiakaspalveluun lähetettäessä.
d. Lisäosat, jotka ovat alttiina normaalille
kulutukselle.

5. Vastuu laitteen aiheuttamista välittömistä
tai välillisistä seurausvahingoista on myös
poissuljettu, jos laitteelle aiheutunut
vahinko hyväksytään takuutapaukseksi.
