1 Sicherheitshinweise
• Überprüfen Sie das Wärmeunterbett vor jeder Anwen-
dung sorgfältig, ob es Anzeichen von Abnutzung und/
oder Beschädigung aufweist.
• Nehmen Sie das Gerät nicht in Betrieb, wenn Sie Abnutzungen, Beschädigungen oder Anzeichen von unsachgemäßem
Gebrauch am Gerät, dem Schalter oder dem Kabel feststellen
oder das Gerät nicht arbeitet.
• Das Gerät darf nur mit der zugehörigen Schalteinheit (HU 662)
betrieben werden.
• Bevor Sie das Gerät an Ihre Stromversorgung anschließen,
achten Sie darauf, dass es ausgeschaltet ist und dass die auf
dem Etikett angegebene elektrische Spannung mit der Ihrer
Netzspannung übereinstimmt.
• Das Wärmeunterbett darf nicht gefaltet, geknickt, ins Bett eingeschlagen oder um eine Matratze herumgelegt betrieben werden.
Am Wärmeunterbett befinden sich vier angenähte Gummibänder.
•
Nutzen Sie diese Bänder, um das Wärmeunterbett um die Ecken
der Matratze zu spannen. Achten Sie darauf, dass das Wärmeunterbett in Längs- und in Querrichtung straff auf der Matratze aufliegt und während der gesamten Nutzungszeit keine Falten wirft.
Kontrollieren Sie die korrekte Lage jeweils vor dem Zubettgehen!
• Der Schalter und die Zuleitung dürfen während des Betriebes
nicht auf oder unter das Unterbett gelegt oder in einer anderen
Art und Weise abgedeckt werden.
• Stellen Sie sicher, dass vor der Verwendung auf einem verstellbaren Bett, das Netzkabel und das Wärmeunterbett selbst
nicht durch die Scharniere eingeklemmt oder es durch die Verstellung zusammengeschoben wird.
• Es dürfen keine Sicherheitsnadeln oder andere spitze oder
scharfe Gegenstände am Wärmeunterbett angebracht werden
oder hineingestochen werden.
• Setzen Sie das Gerät nicht bei Kindern, behinderten oder
schlafenden Personen sowie bei hitzeunempfindlichen Menschen ein, die nicht auf eine Überwärmung reagieren können.
• Kinder jünger als 3 Jahre dürfen dieses Gerät nicht benutzen,
da sie unfähig sind, auf Überwärmung zu reagieren.
• Das Gerät darf nicht von jungen Kindern im Alter von mehr als
3 Jahren benutzt werden, es sei denn, die Schalteinheit ist von

• einem Elternteil oder einer Aufsichtsperson so voreingestellt
worden oder das Kind ist ausreichend eingewiesen worden,
wie es die Schalteinheit sicher betreibt.
• Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren und darüber
sowie von Personen mit verringerten physischen, sensorischen oder mentalen Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an Erfahrung
und Wissen benutzt werden, wenn Sie beaufsichtigt oder
bezüglich des sicheren Gebrauchs des Gerätes unterwiesen
wurden und die daraus resultierenden Gefahren verstehen.
• Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.
• Reinigung und Benutzer-Wartung dürfen nicht von Kindern
ohne Beaufsichtigung durchgeführt werden.
• Betreiben Sie das Unterbett niemals unbeaufsichtigt.
• Eine zu lange Anwendung des Gerätes bei hoher Einstellung
kann zu Hautverbrennungen führen.
• Greifen Sie nicht nach einem Unterbett, dass ins Wasser gefallen ist. Ziehen Sie sofort den Netzstecker.
• Halten Sie das Netzkabel von heißen Oberflächen fern.
• Tragen, ziehen oder drehen Sie das Wärmeunterbett nie am
Netzkabel und klemmen Sie das Kabel nicht ein.
• Benutzen Sie das Wärmeunterbett nicht nass und nur in
trockener Umgebung (nicht im Badezimmer o.a.)
• Schalter und Zuleitungen dürfen keinerlei Feuchtigkeit ausgesetzt werden.
Reparieren Sie im Falle einer Störung das Unterbett nicht selbst.
•
Eine Reparatur darf nur von einem autorisierten Fachhändler oder
einer entsprechend qualifizierten Person durchgeführt werden.
•
Wenn das Netzkabel beschädigt ist, darf es nur durch MEDISANA,
einen autorisierten Fachhändler oder durch eine entsprechend qualifizierte Person ersetzt werden, um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.
• Lassen Sie das Wärmeunterbett erst völlig auskühlen, bevor
Sie es verstauen. Falten Sie es nicht eng zusammen.
• Wenn Sie das Gerät nicht in Gebrauch haben, bewahren Sie
es wie folgt auf:
- Verstauen Sie das Gerät am besten in der Originalverpackung
und bewahren Sie es an einem sicheren, sauberen, kühlen
und trockenen Platz auf.
- Legen Sie das Stromkabel sorgfältig zusammen, um einen

- Belasten Sie das Gerät nicht, indem Sie während der
Lagerung Gegenstände darauf ablegen.

• Sollten Sie über längere Zeit Schmerzen in den Muskeln oder
den Gelenken empfinden, dann informieren Sie bitte Ihren Arzt
darüber. Länger anhaltende Schmerzen können Symptome für
eine ernsthafte Erkrankung sein.
• Sollten Sie die Anwendung als unangenehm oder schmerzhaft
empfinden, brechen Sie diese sofort ab.
• Das Gerät ist nur für den Gebrauch im Haushalt bestimmt und
darf nicht für medizinische Zwecke in Krankenhäusern verwendet werden.
2 Anwendung

Damit Sie den gewünschten Erfolg erzielen und recht lange Freude an Ihrem MEDISANA Wärmeunterbett haben, empfehlen wir Ihnen die nachstehenden Hinweise zum Gebrauch und zur Pflege
sorgfältig zu lesen.
2.1 Lieferumfang und Verpackung
Bitte prüfen Sie zunächst, ob das Gerät vollständig ist und keinerlei Beschädigung aufweist. Im
Zweifelsfalle nehmen Sie das Gerät nicht in Betrieb und wenden Sie sich an Ihren Händler oder an
Ihre Servicestelle.
Zum Lieferumfang gehören:

Verpackungen sind wiederverwendbar oder können dem Rohstoffkreislauf zurückgeführt werden.
Bitte entsorgen Sie nicht mehr benötigtes Verpackungsmaterial ordnungsgemäß. Sollten Sie beim
Auspacken einen Transportschaden bemerken, setzen Sie sich bitte sofort mit Ihrem Händler in Verbindung.

2 Anwendung / 3 Verschiedenes
2.2 Gebrauch
Mit dem Wärmeunterbett MEDISANA HU 662 können Sie den gesamten Körper sanft erwärmen
und entspannen. Die Anwendung fördert die Durchblutung in verhärteten Muskelbereichen und
das Wohlbefinden nach einem anstrengenden Tag. Das Wärmeunterbett sorgt für ein angenehm
temperiertes Bett, so dass Sie entspannt und schnell einschlafen.
Breiten Sie das Wärmeunterbett flach auf der Matratze aus. Am Wärmeunterbett befinden Sie vier
angenähte Gummibänder. Nutzen Sie diese Bänder, um das Wärmeunterbett um die Ecken der
Matratze zu spannen.

2.3 Betrieb
Wir empfehlen, das Wärmeunterbett 30 Minuten vor dem Zubettgehen einzuschalten.
Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in die Steckdose und schieben Sie den Schiebeschalter von Position
0 auf Position 1. Die Betriebsanzeige leuchtet auf. Beim Herauf- oder Herunterschalten in die einzelnen Stufen blinkt die Kontrollleuchte jeweils 2x kurz und leuchtet dann kontinuierlich weiter.
Sie werden eine allmähliche Erwärmung des Unterbettes verspüren, die deutlicher wird, wenn sie
durch ein Oberbett abgedeckt wird. Wenn Sie eine höhere Temperatur wünschen, schieben Sie
den Schalter weiter auf die Position 2, 3, 4, 5 oder Position 6. Wenn das Wärmeunterbett für Ihr Emp-
finden zu stark erwärmt ist, schieben Sie den Schalter zurück auf Position 5, 4, 3, 2 oder Position 1.
Das Gerät ist so konzipiert, dass die Stufe 3-6 zum Aufheizen und nur die Stufe 1-2 für den
Dauerbetrieb bestimmt ist. Nach ca. 180 Minuten Dauerbetrieb schaltet sich das Wärmeunterbett
automatisch ab.
Um das Gerät auszuschalten, schieben Sie den Schalter zurück auf Position 0. Das Erlöschen der

3.1 Reinigung und Pflege
• Bevor Sie das Gerät reinigen, ziehen Sie den Netzstecker und lassen es mindestens zehn

• Das Wärmeunterbett ist mit einem abnehmbaren Kabel ausgestattet. Trennen Sie die Steckverbindung und entfernen Sie das Kabel vom Wärmeunterbett.
• Das Wärmeunterbett dürfen Sie bei 30° Schonwäsche in der Maschine oder sanft per Handwäsche reinigen. Am besten legen Sie das Wärmeunterbett in eine Badewanne mit handwarmem Wasser und etwas Feinwaschmittel und drücken es sanft aus.
• Spülen Sie das Gerät mehrere Male, um alle Waschmittelreste zu entfernen.
• Lassen Sie das Wärmeunterbett ausgebreitet auf einer flachen Unterlage trocknen.
• Benutzen Sie das Gerät erst wieder, wenn es völlig trocken ist.
• Bewahren Sie das Wärmeunterbett ausgebreitet liegend, ohne zusätzliche Auflagen, an einem
sauberen und trockenen Platz auf.
3.2 Hinweis zur Entsorgung
Dieses Gerät darf nicht zusammen mit dem Hausmüll entsorgt werden.
Jeder Verbraucher ist verpflichtet, alle elektrischen oder elektronischen Geräte, egal, ob sie
Schadstoffe enthalten oder nicht, bei einer Sammelstelle seiner Stadt oder im Handel abzugeben, damit sie einer umweltschonenden Entsorgung zugeführt werden können. Wenden
Sie sich hinsichtlich der Entsorgung an Ihre Kommunalbehörde oder Ihren Händler.

4 Garantie
4.1 Garantie- und Reparatur bedingungen
Bitte wenden Sie sich im Garantiefall an Ihr Fachgeschäft oder direkt an die Servicestelle. Sollten Sie das
Gerät einschicken müssen, geben Sie bitte den Defekt an und legen eine Kopie der Kaufquittung bei.
Es gelten dabei die folgenden Garantiebedingungen:
1. Auf MEDISANA Produkte wird ab Verkaufsdatum eine Garantie für drei Jahre gewährt. Das Ver-
kaufsdatum ist im Garantiefall durch die Kaufquittung oder Rechnung nachzuweisen.
2.
Mängel infolge von Material- oder Fertigungsfehlern werden innerhalb der Garantiezeit kostenlos beseitigt.
3. Durch eine Garantieleistung tritt keine Verlängerung der Garantiezeit, weder für das Gerät noch für
ausgewechselte Bauteile, ein.
4. Von der Garantie ausgeschlossen sind:
a. alle Schäden, die durch unsachgemäße Behandlung, z.B. durch Nichtbeachtung der
Gebrauchsanleitung, entstanden sind.
b.
Schäden, die auf Instandsetzung oder Eingriffe durch den Käufer oder unbefugte Dritte zurückzuführen sind.
c. Transportschäden, die auf dem Weg vom Hersteller zum Verbraucher oder bei der Einsendung
an den Kundendienst entstanden sind.
d. Zubehörteile, die einer normalen Abnutzung unterliegen.
5. Eine Haftung für mittelbare oder unmittelbare Folgeschäden, die durch das Gerät verursacht werden,
ist auch dann ausgeschlossen, wenn der Schaden an dem Gerät als ein Garantiefall anerkannt wird.

1 Safety Information
• Carefully check the heated underblanket before each use,
if you notice wearor damage.
Do not use if you notice wear, damage or signs of improper use on

• The heated underblanket may only be operated with the
control unit (HU 662) supplied.
• Before connecting the device to your power supply, please
ensure that the supply voltage stated on the rating plate is
compatible with your mains supply.
• The heated underblanket may not be operated while folded,
creased, wrapped in a cover or placed around the mattress.
• There are four rubber bands sewn onto the heated underblanket.
Use these bands to tighten the heated underblanket over the
corners of the mattress. Make sure that the heated underblanket
is firmly strapped to the mattress in both directions and that it
will not crease while it is being used. Check it is in the correct
position before going to bed.
• During use, the control switch and lead must not be placed on
or under the blanket or be otherwise covered in any way.
• Before using it on an adjustable bed, make sure that the power
cable and the underblanket do not get caught in the hinges or
get crumpled when making adjustments.
• Neither pierce the blanket with, nor attach safety pins or other
spiky or sharp objects to the pad.
• Do not use the device on children or persons who are
disabled, asleep or insensitive to heat (persons who cannot
react on overheating).
• Children below the age of 3 years are not allowed to use this
device, because they are not able to react on overheating.
• The device must not be used by young children over the age of
3 years, unless the control unit has been adjusted accordingly
by its parents or legal guardians or unless the child has been
well instructed how to use the control unit properly.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the

- Fold up the power cable carefully to avoid cable breaks.

• Should you have any concerns about health issues, consult

2 Operating
Thank you for your confidence in us and congratulations!
You have purchased the heated underblanket HU 662, a quality product by MEDISANA.
To ensure the best results and long-term satisfaction with your MEDISANA heated underblanket,
we recommend that you read the following operating and maintenance instructions carefully.
2.1 Items supplied and packaging
Please check first of all that the device is complete and is not damaged in any way. In case of
doubt, do not use the appliance and contact your supplier or your service centre.
The following parts are included:
• 1 MEDISANA HU 662 heated underblanket
with control unit HU 662
• 1 Instruction manual
The packaging can be reused or recycled. Please dispose properly of any packaging material no
longer required. If you notice any transport damage during unpacking, please contact your supplier
without delay.
WARNING
Please ensure that the polythene packing is kept away from the reach of
children! Risk of suffocation!
2.2 Use
With the MEDISANA HU 662 heated underblankets you can gently warm and relax your whole
body. Using the blanket stimulates the circulation in areas of tense muscle and promotes a sense
of well being after a strenuous day. The heated underblanket provides a pleasantly warm bed,
allowing you to relax and get to sleep quickly.

2.3 Operation
We recommend switching on the heated underblanket 30 minutes before going to bed.
Plug the blanket into the mains outlet and move the selector switch from position 0 to position 1.
The power LED will light up. When switching up and down the different levels, the indicator lamp
flashes twice briefly and then comes on permanently.

3 Miscellaneous
3.1 Cleaning and maintenance
• Before cleaning the device, unplug it from the mains outlet and let it cool down for at least ten
minutes.
• The heated underblanket is equipped with a detachable cable. Disconnect the plug and remove
the cable from the heating pad.
• The heated underblanket can be machine washed at 30° in a delicate programme or by hand
gently. The best way to do this is to put the heated underblanket in a bath with lukewarm water
and some mild detergent and then gently squeeze it out.
• Rinse the heated underblanket several times to remove all the detergent.
• To dry, stretch the pad out on a flat surface.
• Only use the device once it is completely dry.
• Store the device in a clean and dry place, laid out flat with nothing covering or resting on top
of it.
3.2 Disposal
This product must not be disposed of together with domestic waste.
All users are obliged to hand in all electrical or electronic devices, regardless of whether
or not they contain toxic substances, at a municipal or commercial collection point so that
they can be disposed of in an environmentally acceptable manner.
Consult your local authority or your supplier for information about disposal.

4 Warranty
4.1 Warranty and repair terms
Please contact your supplier or the service centre in case of a claim under the warranty. If you have
to return the unit, please enclose a copy of your receipt and state what the defect is.
The following warranty terms apply:
1. The warranty period for MEDISANA products is three years from date of purchase. In case of a
warranty claim, the date of purchase has to be proven by means of the sales receipt or invoice.
2. Defects in material or workmanship will be removed free of charge within the warranty period.
3. Repairs under warranty do not extend the warranty period either for the unit or for the replacement
parts.
4. The following is excluded under the warranty:
a. All damage which has arisen due to improper treatment, e.g. non-observance of the user
instructions.
b. All damage which is due to repairs or tampering by the customer or unauthorised third parties.
c. Damage which has arisen during transport from the manufacturer to the consumer or during
transport to the service centre.
d. Accessories which are subject to normal wear and tear.
5. Liability for direct or indirect consequential losses caused by the unit are excluded even if the
damage to the unit is accepted as a warranty claim.

1 Consignes de sécurité
• Vérifiez consciencieusement la couverture chauffante avant
chaque utilisation contre toute usure ou endommagement.
• Ne mettez pas cet appareil en marche, si vous remarquez une
usure, des dommages ou des signes d’un usage inadapté au
niveau de l’appareil, de l’interrupteur ou du câble, ou que
l’appareil ne fonctionne pas.
• La couverture chauffante doit être utilisée uniquement avec
l'unité de commande (HU 662) jointe.
• Avant de raccorder l’appareil à l’alimentation électrique, veillez
à ce que la tension indiquée sur la plaque signalétique
corresponde à celle de l’alimentation secteur.
• La couverture chauffante ne doit pas être utilisée lorsqu’elle
est pliée, froissée, pliée sur le lit ou enroulée autour d’un matelas.
• Quatre bandes de caoutchouc sont cousues sur la couverture
chauffante. Utilisez ces bandes pour tendre la couverture
chauffante aux coins du matelas. Veillez à ce que la couverture
chauffante soit bien tendue sur l’ensemble du matelas et à ce
qu’elle ne se plisse à aucun moment durant l’utilisation. Avant
de vous coucher, vérifiez toujours que la couverture est bien en
place.

Pendant l'utilisation, ne pas placer l'interrupteur et le câble sur ou sous
la couverture, ni les recouvrir de n'importe quelle autre manière.

Si vous installez la couverture chauffante sur un lit pliant, assurez
avant de l’utiliser que le câble secteur ainsi que la couverture ellemême ne se coincent pas dans la charnière et que la couverture
ne soit pas repliée sur elle-même lors du réglage du lit.
• Ne pas placer ou enfoncer d’épingles à nourrice ni d’autres
objets pointus ou coupants sur ou dans la couverture chauffante.
Ne mettez pas l’appareil à des enfants, des personnes handicapées

• L'interrupteur et le câble ne doivent pas prendre l'humidité.
• En cas de dommage ou de dysfonctionnement, ne réparez pas
la couverture vous-même. Les réparations doivent exclusivement être exécutées par un revendeur agréé ou un technicien
qualifié.
• Si le câble secteur est endommagé, seul MEDISANA, un
revendeur autorisé ou une personne qualifiée peut le
remplacer. Pour éviter tout risque, envoyez dans ce cas
l’appareil au service clientèle pour le faire réparer.
• Laissez entièrement refroidir la couverture chauffante avant de
la plier et de la ranger. Evitez de la plier en la serrant trop fort.
• Si vous n'utilisez pas l'appareil, conservez-le de la manière
suivante :
- Le mieux est de ranger l'appareil dans son emballage d'origine
et de le conserver dans un endroit sûr, propre, frais et sec.
- Rangez soigneusement le câble électrique afin d'éviter qu'il
ne soit endommagé.

2.2 Utilisation
La couverture chauffante HU 662 MEDISANA permet de réchauffer progressivement et de décontracter
le corps. L'utilisation renforce la circulation des muscles durcis et la sensation de bien être après une
journée éprouvante. La couverture réchauffe le lit à une température agréable permettant de s'endormir
décontracté et rapidement.
Poser la couverture chauffante à plat sur le matelas. Quatre bandes de caoutchouc sont cousues sur la
couverture chauffante. Utilisez ces bandes pour tendre la couverture chauffante aux coins du matelas.

Veillez à ce que la couverture chauffante soit bien tendue sur l’ensemble du matelas et à ce qu’elle ne se
plisse à aucun moment durant l’utilisation. Etendez un draphousse dessus. Les meilleures conditions de
fourniture de chaleur sont ainsi réunies pour la couverture chauffante. Avant de vous coucher, vérifiez
toujours que la couverture est bien en place !
Uniquement utiliser la couverture chauffante entièrement dépliée. La couverture chauffante est équipée
d'un contrôle de température électrique qui règle la puissance de chauffage selon la température
sélectionnée.
2.3
Fonctionnement
Nous vous conseillons d'allumer la couverture chauffante 30 minutes avant d'aller au lit.
Brancher la fiche secteur dans une prise de courant et commuter l'interrupteur à coulisse de la
position 0 à la position 1. Le témoin d'utilisation s'allume. En cas de passage à des niveaux
supérieurs ou inférieurs, le voyant clignotera respectivement deux fois brièvement pour rester
ensuite allumé en continu. Vous ressentez le réchauffement progressif de la couverture chauffante,
lequel est beaucoup plus sensible si vous vous couvrez d'une couette. Si vous désirez une
température supérieure, positionnez l'interrupteur sur position 2, 3, 4, 5 ou sur position 6. Si la
couverture chauffante devient trop chaude à votre goût, ramenez l'interrupteur sur la position 5, 4,
3, 2 ou sur la position 1.
L’appareil est conçu de telle sorte que la position 3-6 est prévue pour porter la couverture
à la température souhaitée et seulement les position 1- 2 est prévues pour le fonctionnement

3.1 Nettoyage et entretien
• Avant de nettoyer le couverture chauffante, débranchez la fiche secteur de la prise de courant
et laissez-le refroidir au moins dix minutes.
• Le couverture chauffante dispose d’un câble amovible. Débranchez les raccords enfichables et
retirez le câble du coussin chauffant.
• Vous pouvez nettoyer la couverture chauffante à la machine en lavage délicat à 30° ou à la main,
en procédant doucement. Le mieux est de placer le coussin chauffant dans une baignoire, avec de
l’eau tiède et une lessive pour linge délicat et de l’essorer délicatement.
• Rincez le couverture chauffante chauffant plusieurs fois afin de retirer tous les restes de lessive.
• Dépliez le couverture chauffante sur une surface plane et laissez-le sécher.
• Ne réutilisez l’appareil que lorsqu’il est complètement sec..
• Rangez le ouverture chauffante sans rien poser dessus, dans un endroit propre et sec.
3.2 Élimination de l’appareil
Cet appareil ne doit pas être placé avec les ordures ménagères.
Chaque consommateur doit ramener les appareils électriques ou électroniques, qu’ils
contiennent des substances nocives ou non, à un point de collecte de sa commune ou
dans le commerce afin de permettre leur élimination écologique.
