• Bevor Sie das Gerät an Ihre Stromversorgung anschließen, achten Sie darauf,
dass es ausgeschaltet ist und dass die auf dem Etikett angegebene elektrische Spannung mit der Ihres Stromnetzes übereinstimmt.
• Prüfen Sie das Wärmeunterbett häufig auf Abnutzungserscheinungen oder
Beschädigungen.

An den Längsseiten des Wärmeunterbetts befinden sich vier Befestigungs-

schlaufen. Nutzen Sie diese Schlaufen, um das Wärmeunterbett mittels eines
geeigneten Bandes oder einer Kordel an der Matratze zu befestigen. Achten Sie
darauf, dass das Wärmeunterbett in Längs- und in Querrichtung straff auf der
Matratze aufliegt und während der gesamten Nutzungszeit keine Falten wirft.
Kontrollieren Sie die korrekte Lage jeweils vor dem Zubettgehen!
• Der Schalter und die Zuleitung dürfen während des Betriebes nicht auf oder
unter das Unterbett gelegt oder in einer anderen Art und Weise abgedeckt
werden.
•
Stellen Sie sicher, dass vor der Verwendung auf einem verstellbaren Bett, das
Netzkabel und das Wärmeunterbett selbst nicht durch die Scharniere eingeklemmt oder es durch die Verstellung zusammengeschoben wird.
• Es dürfen keine Sicherheitsnadeln oder andere spitze oder scharfe Gegenstände an ihm angebracht oder in es hinein gestochen werden.
• Betreiben Sie das Unterbett niemals unbeaufsichtigt.
• Das Gerät ist nur für den Gebrauch im Haushalt bestimmt und darf nicht in
Krankenhäusern verwendet werden.
• Greifen Sie nicht nach einem Unterbett, das ins Wasser gefallen ist. Ziehen
Sie sofort den Netzstecker.
• Benutzen Sie das Wärmeunterbett nicht in feuchtem Zustand und in feuchter Umgebung. Das Unterbett darf erst wieder verwendet werden, wenn es
vollständig getrocknet ist.
• Schalter und Zuleitungen dürfen keinerlei Feuchtigkeit ausgesetzt werden.
• Halten Sie das Netzkabel von heißen Oberflächen fern.
• Tragen, ziehen oder drehen Sie das Wärmeunterbett nie am Netzkabel und
klemmen Sie das Kabel nicht ein.
Falls solche Anzeichen oder Erscheinungen auftreten, muss es

• Reparieren Sie im Falle einer Beschädigung oder Störung das Unterbett nicht
selbst. Geben Sie das defekte Wärmeunterbettt an Ihren Händler zurück.
Eine Reparatur darf nur von einem autorisierten Fachhändler oder einer entsprechend qualifizierten Person durchgeführt werden.
• Wenn das Netzkabel beschädigt ist, darf es nur durch MEDISANA, einen
autorisierten Fachhändler oder durch eine entsprechend qualifizierte Person
ersetzt werden, um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.
•
Lassen Sie das Wärmeunterbett erst völlig auskühlen, bevor Sie es verstauen.
Falten Sie es nicht eng zusammen.
• Sollten Sie gesundheitliche Bedenken haben, sprechen Sie vor dem
Gebrauch des Unterbetts mit Ihrem Arzt.
• Sollten Sie über längere Zeit Schmerzen in den Muskeln oder Gelenken empfinden, dann informieren Sie bitte Ihren Arzt darüber. Länger anhaltende
Schmerzen könnten Symptome für eine ernsthafte Erkrankung sein.
• Sollten Sie die Anwendung als unangenehm oder schmerzhaft empfinden,
brechen Sie diese sofort ab.

Damit Sie den gewünschten Erfolg erzielen und recht lange Freude an Ihrem
MEDISANA Wärmeunterbett haben, empfehlen wir Ihnen die nachstehenden
Hinweise zum Gebrauch und zur Pflege sorgfältig zu lesen.
Bitte prüfen Sie zunächst, ob das Gerät vollständig ist und keinerlei Beschädigung aufweist. Im Zweifelsfalle nehmen Sie das Gerät nicht in Betrieb und
wenden Sie sich an Ihren Händler oder an Ihre Servicestelle.
Zum Lieferumfang gehören:

Verpackungen sind wiederverwendbar oder können dem Rohstoffkreislauf
zurückgeführt werden. Bitte entsorgen Sie nicht mehr benötigtes Verpackungsmaterial ordnungsgemäß. Sollten Sie beim Auspacken einen Transportschaden bemerken, setzen Sie sich bitte sofort mit Ihrem Händler in
Verbindung.

Betrieb
Mit dem Wärmeunterbett MEDISANA HU 650 / HU 655 können Sie den
gesamten Körper sanft erwärmen und entspannen. Die Anwendung fördert die
Durchblutung in verhärteten Muskelbereichen und das Wohlbefinden nach
einem anstrengenden Tag. Das Wärmeunterbett ist mit einer verstärkten
Wärmezone im Fußbereich ausgestattet und sorgt für ein angenehm temperiertes Bett, so dass Sie entspannt und schnell einschlafen.
Breiten Sie das Wärmeunterbett flach auf der Matratze aus. Ziehen Sie die
Ränder wie ein Spannbetttuch über die Matratze bzw. eine andere geeignete
Unterlage.

Das Wärmeunterbett ist mit einer elektrischen Temperaturkontrolle ausgestattet, die entsprechend der gewählten Schalterstufe die eingestellte Temperatur
reguliert.
Wir empfehlen, das Wärmeunterbett 30 Minuten vor dem Zubettgehen einzuschalten.
Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in die Steckdose und schieben Sie den Schiebeschalter von Position 0 auf Position 1. Die Betriebsanzeige leuchtet grün auf.
Sie werden eine allmähliche Erwärmung des Unterbetts verspüren, die deutlicher wird, wenn sie durch ein Oberbett abgedeckt wird. Wenn Sie eine höhere Temperatur wünschen, schieben Sie den Schalter weiter auf die nächste
Position 2 oder 3 bzw. bis auf die maximale Wärmestufe in Position 4. Wenn
das Wärmeunterbett für Ihr Empfinden zu stark erwärmt ist, schieben Sie den
Schalter zurück auf eine niedrigere Position.
Um das Gerät auszuschalten, schieben Sie den Schalter zurück auf Position 0.
Das Erlöschen der grünen Betriebsanzeige signalisiert, dass das Gerät ausgeschaltet ist.
Das Wärmeunterbett ist so konzipiert, dass die Stufen 1 und 2 für den Dauerbetrieb während des Schlafens ausgelegt sind. Die Stufen 3 und 4 sind besonders zum Vorwärmen des Bettes geeignet.
Nach ca. 3 Stunden Dauerbetrieb schaltet sich das Unterbett automatisch ab.
Um es wieder einzuschalten bewegen Sie den Schiebeschalter in die Position 0
und dann wieder auf die gewünschte Heizstufe.
Das Gerät ist mit einem Überhitzungsschutz ausgestattet, der das Gerät bei
Gefahr von Überhitzung ebenfalls automatisch ausschaltet. Lassen Sie das
Gerät stets erst völlig abkühlen, bevor Sie es wieder verwenden.
Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose, wenn Sie das Wärme-Unterbett
nicht mehr benutzen wollen.

• Bevor Sie das Wärmeunterbett reinigen, ziehen Sie den Netzstecker und
lassen Sie sie abkühlen.
• Entfernen Sie das Bedienteil vom Wärmeunterbett, indem Sie die Steckvorrichtung an der Unterseite trennen.
• Das Wärmeunterbett darf mit Handwäsche gemäß Etikett gewaschen
werden. Das Bedienteil dürfen Sie nicht ins Wasser tauchen, da keinerlei
Feuchtigkeit eindringen darf.
• Verwenden Sie nie aggressive Reinigungsmittel oder starke Bürsten.

• Before connecting the device to your power supply, please ensure that the
supply voltage stated on the rating plate is compatible with your mains
supply.

Check the electric underblanket regularly for any signs of wear or damage. If any
signs occur, it must be returned and inspected by the manufacturer or an
authorised service centre before you use it again.
• Only use the blanket for the purpose described in these Instruction manual.
• Do not use the heated underblanket with small children or persons who are
disabled, in need of care or insensitive to heat.
• This device is not designed to be used by persons (including children) with
limited physical, sensory or mental abilities, or by persons with insufficient
experience and/or knowledge, unless under observation by a person
responsible for their safety, or unless they have been instructed in the use of
the device.
• Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the

Four fastening straps are located on the lengths of the electric underblanket. Use

these straps to attach the electric underblanket to the mattress using a suitable
band or cord. Make sure that the electric underblanket is firmly strapped to the
mattress in both directions and that it will not crease while it is being used. Check
it is in the correct position before going to bed.
• During use, the control switch and lead must not be placed on or under the
blanket or be otherwise covered in any way.
Before using it on an adjustable bed, make sure that the power cable and the

underblanket do not get caught in the hinges or get crumpled when making
adjustments.
• No safety pins or other pointed or sharp objects should be attached to the
underblanket or stuck into it.
• Never leave the blanket on when unattended.
• The device is only for private use and is not to be used in hospitals.
• Never handle a blanket that has fallen into water. Unplug it from the mains
outlet immediately.
• Do not use the blanket in a damp or humid environment or if the blanket
itself is damp. You may only use it again once it is completely dry.
• Never expose the control switch or leads to moisture of any kind.
• Keep the mains lead away from hot surfaces.

Operation
With the MEDISANA HU 650 / HU 655 heated underblankets you can gently
warm and relax your whole body. Using the blanket stimulates the circulation
in areas of tense muscle and promotes a sense of well being after a strenuous
day. The heated underblanket is warmer around the feet and provides a
pleasant temperature in bed, allowing you to relax and get to sleep quickly.
Spread the blanket out flat on top of the mattress. Pull the edges like a fitted
sheet over the mattress or other suitable undersurface.
electric underblanket is firmly strapped to the mattress in both directions and that it
will not crease while it is being used. Spread a bedsheet on top of it. This allows the
underblanket to release its heat in the best way possible. Check it is in the correct
position before going to bed!
The blanket may only be used when it is spread out flat. The heated
underblanket features an electric temperature control that regulates the
temperature according to the chosen setting.
We recommend switching on the heated underblanket 30 minutes before
going to bed.
Plug the blanket into the mains outlet and move the selector switch from
position 0 to position 1. The geen power LED will light up. You will feel the
blanket gradually warming up. This will be even more noticeable if it is covered
with a quilt. If you require a higher temperature setting, move the switch to
one of the higher settings, position 2, 3 or up to the maximum heat setting,
position 4. Should the blanket get too warm for you, slide the switch back to
a lower setting.
To switch off the blanket, return the switch to position 0. The green power LED
will go out, indicating that the unit is switched off.
The heated underblanket is designed in such a way that settings 1 and 2 are
suitable for continuous use while you sleep. Settings 3 and 4 are best suited to
pre-warming the bed.
The blanket will switch off automatically after approx. 3 hours of continuous
use. To switch it back on, first move the switch back to position 0, then back
to the desired heat setting.
The unit is fitted with an overheat cut-off, which also switches the unit off
automatically if there is any risk of it overheating. Always allow the unit to cool
down fully before you use it again.
Unplug the blanket from the mains outlet when it is no longer in use.

5 Warranty
Warranty and
repair terms
Please contact your supplier or the service centre in case of a claim under the
warranty. If you have to return the unit, please enclose a copy of your receipt
and state what the defect is.
The following warranty terms apply:
1. The warranty period for MEDISANA products is three years from date of
purchase. In case of a warranty claim, the date of purchase has to be
proven by means of the sales receipt or invoice.
2. Defects in material or workmanship will be removed free of charge within
the warranty period.
3. Repairs under warranty do not extend the warranty period either for the
unit or for the replacement parts.
4. The following is excluded under the warranty:
a. All damage which has arisen due to improper treatment, e.g.
nonobservance of the user instructions.
b. All damage which is due to repairs or tampering by the customer or
unauthorised third parties.
c. Damage which has arisen during transport from the manufacturer to the

• Veuillez uniquement utiliser la couverture aux fins décrites dans ce mode

• Avant de l’utiliser sur un lit dépliant, vous devez vous assurer que la couverture n’est pas coincée ou repliée sur elle-même.
• Ne piquez pas d’épingle à nourrice ou d’autres objets pointus ou coupants
dans la couverture.
• Ne jamais laisser fonctionner la couverture chauffante sans surveillance.
• L’appareil est conçu uniquement pour une utilisation domestique et ne doit

Fonctionnement
La couverture chauffante HU 650 / HU 655 MEDISANA permet de réchauffer
progressivement et de décontracter le corps. L'utilisation renforce la circulation
des muscles durcis et la sensation de bien être après une journée éprouvante.
La couverture est équipée d'une zone de chaleur renforcée au niveau des pieds
et réchauffe le lit à une température agréable permettant de s'endormir décontracté et rapidement.
Poser la couverture chauffante à plat sur le matelas. Tirez les bords sur le
matelas ou sur un autre support adapté, comme pour une housse normale.
Veillez à ce que la couverture chauffante soit bien tendue sur l’ensemble du
matelas et à ce qu’elle ne se plisse à aucun moment durant l’utilisation. Etendez un
draphousse dessus. Les meilleures conditions de fourniture de chaleur sont ainsi
réunies pour la couverture chauffante. Avant de vous coucher, vérifiez toujours
que la couverture est bien en place !
Uniquement utiliser la couverture chauffante entièrement dépliée. La couverture chauffante est équipée d'un contrôle de température
la puissance de chauffage selon la température sélectionnée.
Nous vous conseillons d'allumer la couverture chauffante 30 minutes avant
d'aller au lit.
Brancher la fiche secteur dans une prise de courant et commuter l'interrupteur
à coulisse de la position 0 à la position 1. Le témoin d'utilisation vert s'allume.
Vous ressentez le réchauffement progressif de la couverture chauffante, lequel
est beaucoup plus sensible si vous vous couvrez d'une couette. Si vous désirez
une température supérieure, positionnez l'interrupteur sur position suivante 2
ou 3, etc. jusqu'à la chaleur maximale à la position 4. Si la couverture chauffante devient trop chaude à votre goût, ramenez l'interrupteur sur un réglage
plus faible.
Pour éteindre l'appareil, ramenez l'interrupteur à la position 0. L'extinction de
l'appareil est signalée par l'extinction du témoin d'utilisation verte.
Les positions 1 et 2 de la couverture chauffante sont destinées à l'utilisation
continue pendant le sommeil. Les positions 3 et 4 sont plus spécialement indiquées pour réchauffer le lit.
La couverture chauffante s'éteint automatiquement après environ 3 heures
d'utilisation continue. Pour la rallumer, commuter l'interrupteur sur la position
0 puis le ramener sur la position de réglage désirée.
L’appareil est équipé d’une protection contre les surchauffes qui l’éteint aussi
automatiquement en cas de risque de surchauffe. Laissez toujours l’appareil
refroidir complètement avant de le réutiliser.

la prise de courant et laisser la couverture refroidir.
• Détachez la commande de la housse en défaisant le dispositif d'enfichage du
dessous.
• La housse chauffante peut être lavée à la main conformément à l'étiquette.
Vous ne devez pas plonger la commande dans l'eau, car l'humidité ne doit
pas y pénétrer.
• N'utilisez jamais de produits nettoyants agressifs ou de brosses dures.
• Utilisez de nouveau l'appareil uniquement s'il est entièrement sec.
• Pour la faire sécher, placez la housse chauffante à plat sur un support
absorbant l'humidité. Lorsque la housse chauffante est entièrement sèche,
raccordez de nouveau correctement la commande. La housse chauffante
doit être utilisée uniquement avec la commande correspondante.
• Laissez refroidir la housse chauffante avant de la plier pour la ranger.
Rangez la housse chauffante dans un endroit propre et sec. Ne posez aucun
objet sur la housse chauffante lorsque vous la rangez pour éviter de la
froisser.
Cet appareil ne doit pas être placé avec les ordures ménagères.
Chaque consommateur doit ramener les appareils électriques ou électroniques,
