1 Sicherheitshinweise

• Das Gerät ist nicht für die medizinische Verwendung (z. B. in
Krankenhäusern) geeignet.

• Benutzen Sie das Gerät nur entsprechend seiner Bestimmung
laut Gebrauchsanweisung. Bei Zweckentfremdung erlischt der
Garantieanspruch.

• Der Wärmegürtel darf nicht gefaltet oder geknickt betrieben
werden.

• Setzen Sie das Gerät nicht bei Kindern, behinderten oder schla-

fenden Personen sowie bei hitzeunempndlichen Menschen ein,

die nicht auf eine Überwärmung reagieren können.

• Es dürfen keine Sicherheitsnadeln oder andere spitze oder
scharfe Gegenstände am Gerät angebracht oder hineinge­stochen werden.

• Ziehen, verdrehen oder knicken Sie die Kabel nicht.

• Halten Sie das Gerät von Feuchtigkeit und Flüssigkeiten fern!
Ein feuchtes Gerät darf nicht in Betrieb genommen werden.

• Nehmen Sie das Gerät nicht in Betrieb, wenn Sie Abnutzungen,
Beschädigungen oder Anzeichen von unsachgemäßem Ge­brauch feststellen.

• Im Falle von Störungen reparieren Sie das Gerät nicht selbst, da
dadurch jeglicher Garantieanspruch erlischt. Lassen Sie Repara­turen nur von der autorisierten Servicestelle durchführen.

• Wenn der Wärmegürtel angeschaltet ist:

- platzieren Sie keine großen oder schweren Objekte (wie z. B.
Koffer) auf ihm und

- platzieren Sie keine Wärmequellen (wie z. B. Heizdecken) auf
ihm.

• Wenn Sie den Wärmegürtel nicht täglich benutzen, ziehen Sie
den Anschlussstecker des Wärmegürtels 5 aus dem Akkupack.

• Bei dauerhafter Nutzung des Gürtels (z. B. beim Einschlafen)
sollte die Stufe 1 (niedrigste Stufe) eingestellt werden.

• Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren und darüber sowie
von Personen mit verringerten physischen, sensorischen oder
mentalen Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an Erfahrung und Wissen
benutzt werden, wenn Sie beaufsichtigt oder bezüglich des
sicheren Gebrauchs des Gerätes unterwiesen wurden und die
daraus resultierenden Gefahren verstehen.

• Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.

1 Sicherheitshinweise

• Reinigung und Benutzer-Wartung dürfen nicht von Kindern ohne
Beaufsichtigung durchgeführt werden.

• Kinder jünger als 3 Jahre dürfen dieses Gerät nicht benutzen, da
sie unfähig sind, auf Überwärmung zu reagieren.

• Das Gerät darf nicht von jungen Kindern im Alter von mehr als
3 Jahren benutzt werden, es sei denn, die Einstellungen sind
von einem Elternteil oder einer Aufsichtsperson entsprechend
voreingestellt worden oder das Kind ist ausreichend eingewiesen
worden, wie es die Kontrolleinheit sicher betätigt.

• Betreiben Sie das Gerät niemals unbeaufsichtigt.

• Wenn Sie den Wärmegürtel aufbewahren, lassen Sie ihn erst
auskühlen, bevor Sie ihn zusammenlegen.

• Legen Sie während der Lagerung keine Gegenstände auf das
Gerät, um scharfe Knicke zu vermeiden.

• Das wiederauadbare Akkupack 6 muss vor dem ersten Ge­brauch vollständig aufgeladen werden.

• Bevor Sie das Netzteil an die Stromversorgung anschließen,
achten Sie darauf, dass die auf dem Etikett angegebene elek­trische Spannung mit der Ihrer Netzspannung übereinstimmt.

• Nach dem Ladevorgang trennen Sie das Akkupack 6 und das
Netzteil 1 von der Stromversorgung.

• Der Wärmegürtel darf nur mit der zugehörigen Akku-Kontrollein­heit (WE-221) und dem zugehörigen Ladekabel/Netzteil (Modell
Nr. RSS1002-101084-W2E) betrieben werden.

• Wenn das Netzkabel beschädigt ist, darf es nur durch MEDI-
SANA, einen autorisierten Fachhändler oder durch eine ent-

sprechend qualizierte Person ersetzt werden, um Gefährdungen

zu vermeiden.

• Das im Lieferumfang enthaltene Ladekabel/Netzteil (Modell Nr.

RSS1002-101084-W2E) darf niemals für das Auaden anderer

Batterien, Akkus oder Akkupacks verwendet werden.

MEDISANA erworben. Damit Sie den gewünschten Erfolg erzielen und
recht lange Freude an Ihrem MEDISANA Akku-Wärmegürtel HS 680
haben, empfehlen wir Ihnen, die nachstehenden Hinweise zum Gebrauch

und zur Pege sorgfältig zu lesen.

Bitte prüfen Sie zunächst, ob das Gerät vollständig ist und keinerlei Beschä­digung aufweist. Im Zweifelsfalle nehmen Sie das Gerät nicht in Betrieb und
wenden Sie sich an Ihren Händler oder an Ihre Servicestelle.
Zum Lieferumfang gehören:

Verpackungen sind wiederverwendbar oder können dem Rohstoffkreis­lauf zurückgeführt werden. Bitte entsorgen Sie nicht mehr benötigtes Ver­packungsmaterial ordnungsgemäß. Sollten Sie beim Auspacken einen
Transportschaden bemerken, setzen Sie sich bitte sofort mit Ihrem Händler
in Verbindung.

Produkt­eigen­schaften

Achten Sie darauf, dass die Verpackungsfolien nicht in die Hände
von Kindern gelangen. Es besteht Erstickungsgefahr!

Der Akku-Wärmegürtel HS 680 zur In-und Outdoor-Anwendung spendet
wohltuende Wärme für Rücken und Bauch bei maximaler Bewegungs­freiheit – er kann sogar unter der Kleidung getragen werden. Er verfügt
über 4 einstellbare Temperaturstufen, einen Überhitzungsschutz und eine
automatische Abschaltung nach 90 Minuten Nutzungsdauer. Die langan­haltende Wärme wird durch das leistungsstarke Lithium-Ionen-Akkupack
sichergestellt. Der Gürtel ist maschinenwaschbar bei 30°C (Spezial-Schon­waschgang).

3 Anwendung

3.1

Auaden

des Akku­packs

Vor der ersten Benutzung oder nach längerer Nichtbenutzung muss das
Akkupack 6 für mindestens 3 Stunden vollständig aufgeladen werden.

Zum Auaden der Akkus verbinden Sie das Kabel des Ladegeräts 1 mit

dem Akkupack und mit einer Steckdose. Während des Ladevorganges
blinkt die Ladestatus-LED 8 grün. Ist das Akkupack vollständig geladen,
erscheint die Ladestatus-LED 8 konstant in grün. Sie können dann das
Ladegerät 1 vom Stromnetz und vom Akkupack 6 trennen.
Möchten Sie den Ladezustand des Akkupacks feststellen, trennen Sie den
Anschlussstecker des Wärmegürtels 5 vom Akkupack und drücken Sie
die Ein-/Aus-Taste 7. Die Ladestatus-LED 8 leuchtet konstant grün für
ca. 3 Sekunden, wenn der Ladestatus 25 % oder mehr beträgt. Beträgt der
Ladezustand hingegen weniger als 25 %, blinkt die Ladestatus-LED 8 3
mal in einer Sekunde grün. Sie sollten das Akkupack 6 dann auaden.

WICHTIGE HINWEISE

• Laden Sie das Akkupack nur in trockener Umgebung bei Raum­ temperatur. Stellen Sie keine Gegenstände auf das Akkupack.

• AKKU-SICHERHEITSHINWEISE:

- Akkupack nicht ausbauen oder auseinandernehmen!
Explosionsgefahr!

- Von Feuer und Hitzequellen fernhalten! Explosionsgefahr!

- Werfen Sie verbrauchte Batterien und Akkus nicht in den
Hausmüll, sondern in den Sondermüll oder in eine
Batterie-Sammelstation im Fachhandel!

Anwendung

1. Setzen Sie das Akkupack

Wärmegürtels ein. Dabei sollte der Anschluss des Akkupacks für den
Anschlussstecker des Wärmegürtels 5 nach oben und die LEDs nach
vorn außen zeigen, so dass man die LEDs durch das Fenster auf der
Frontseite des Gürtels sehen kann.

2. Verbinden Sie den Anschlussstecker des Wärmegürtels 5 mit dem

Akkupack 6.

3. Stellen Sie die gewünschte Temperaturstufe (1 bis 4) durch (ggf. mehr-

fachen) Druck auf die Ein-/Aus-Taste 7 ein. Jeder Tastendruck erhöht
die Temperaturstufe um eine Stufe. Ist die Stufe 4 erreicht und wird
die Ein-/Aus-Taste 7 erneut gedrückt, wird das Gerät ausgeschaltet.

4. Legen Sie nun den Wärmegürtel um Ihre Hüften und den Bauch und

verschließen Sie den Klettverschluss. Sie können den Gürtel in jeder
beliebigen Position um Hüften und Bauch legen, je nachdem wo der
wärmende Effekt gewünscht ist.

5. Bei Bedarf können Sie zusätzlich das Elastik-Stützband 3 auf der

Außenseite des Wärmegürtels anlegen. Dadurch kann eine zusätzlich
stützende Wirkung des Gürtels erzielt werden.

Die Timer­Funktion

Nach 90 Minuten ununterbrochenen Betriebs schaltet sich der Wärmegürtel
automatisch aus. Möchten Sie das Gerät weiterhin benutzen, drücken Sie
die Ein-/Aus-Taste 7, um die gewünschte Temperaturstufe einzustellen.

4 Verschiedenes

4.1
Reinigung

und Pege

• Vor jeder Reinigung, trennen Sie das Akkupack
vom Wärmegürtel. Entnehmen Sie das Akkupack aus dem Gürtel.

• Verwenden Sie nie aggressive Reinigungsmittel oder starke Bürsten.

• Das Akkupack ausschließlich mit einem trockenen Tuch vorsichtig ab­wischen.

• Der Wärmegürtel kann in der Waschmaschine bei 30°C im Spezial­Schonwaschgang in einem Waschsack gewaschen werden.

• Bei kleineren Verschmutzungen genügt die Reinigung mit einem leicht
angefeuchteten Tuch oder Schwamm und einem milden Reiniger.

• Der Wärmegürtel darf nicht in einem Trockner getrocknet oder gebügelt
werden. Lassen Sie den Artikel in ausgeschaltetem Zustand an der Luft
trocknen und benutzen Sie ihn erst wieder, wenn er vollständig getrock­net ist.

• Zu häuges Waschen in der Waschmaschine kann zu Farbverände-
rungen oder Abnutzungserscheinungen führen. Waschen Sie den Gür­tel daher nur in der Waschmaschine, wenn dies unbedingt notwendig
ist.

• Lagern Sie den Artikel ausgebreitet und ohne Knicke in einem tro­ckenen Raum bei Raumtemperatur. Der Gürtel sollte vor der Lagerung
abkühlen.

Dieses Gerät darf nicht zusammen mit dem Hausmüll entsorgt werden.

Jeder Verbraucher ist verpichtet, alle elektrischen oder elektronischen

Repara­turbedin­gungen

Bitte wenden Sie sich im Garantiefall an Ihr Fachgeschäft oder direkt an die
Servicestelle. Sollten Sie das Gerät einschicken müssen, geben Sie bitte
den Defekt an und legen eine Kopie der Kaufquittung bei.
Es gelten dabei die folgenden Garantiebedingungen:

1. Auf MEDISANA Produkte wird ab Verkaufsdatum eine Garantie für
3 Jahre gewährt. Das Verkaufsdatum ist im Garantiefall durch
Kaufquittung oder Rechnung nachzuweisen.

2. Mängel infolge von Material- oder Fertigungsfehlern werden
innerhalb der Garantiezeit kostenlos beseitigt.

3. Durch eine Garantieleistung tritt keine Verlängerung der Garantiezeit,
weder für das Gerät noch für ausgewechselte Bauteile, ein.

4. Von der Garantie ausgeschlossen sind:
a. alle Schäden, die durch unsachgemäße Behandlung, z.B. durch

Nichtbeachtung der Gebrauchsanweisung, entstanden sind.
b. Schäden, die auf Instandsetzung oder Eingriffe durch den Käufer oder
unbefugte Dritte zurückzuführen sind.
c. Transportschäden, die auf dem Weg vom Hersteller zum Verbraucher
oder bei der Einsendung an die Servicestelle entstanden sind.

d. Zubehörteile, die einer normalen Abnutzung unterliegen.

above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental ca­pabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance
in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

• Children shall not play with the appliance.

• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children

In order to achieve the desired effect with your heat belt with rechargeable
batteries HS 680 from MEDISANA in the long term, we recommend that
you read the following information on its use and maintenance carefully.

Please check rst of all that the device is complete and is not damaged in

any way. In case of doubt, do not use the appliance and contact your sup­plier or your service centre.
The following parts are included:

• 1 MEDISANA heat belt with rechargeable batteries HS 680

The packaging can be reused or recycled. Please dispose properly of any
packaging material no longer required. If you notice any transport damage

The heat belt with rechargeable batteries HS 680 for indoor and outdoor
use provides soothing heat for the back and abdomen with maximum mobil­ity - it can also be worn under the clothing. The device features 4 adjustable
temperature settings, an overheating protection system and an automatic
shut-off after 90 minutes of continous use. The long-lasting heat is ensured
by the powerful, rechargeable lithium-ion-battery pack. The belt is machine
washable at 30°C (gentle / delicate wash cycle).

3.1
Charging
the battery
pack

The battery pack
use or after not having been used for a long time. To charge the batteries,
connect the cable of the charging unit 1 with the battery pack and a mains
outlet. During the charging process the charging status LED 8 ashes
green. When the batteries have been fully charged, the charging status
LED 8 lights up in green constantly. You now may disconnect the charging
unit 1 from the mains and from the battery pack 6.
If you want to check the state of charge of the battery pack, disconnect
the power plug of the heat belt 5 from the battery pack and press the on-/
off-button 7. The charging status LED 8 lights up in green constantly
for approx. 3 seconds, if the state of charge is 25 % or better. If the state
of charge is below 25 %, the charging status LED 8 ashes 3 times in a
second. You then should recharge the battery pack 6.

IMPORTANT HINTS

• Only charge the battery pack in a dry environment at room
temperature. Never place any objects onto the battery pack.

• BATTERY SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:

- Do not disassemble or dismantle the battery / battery pack!

Usage

1. Insert the battery pack

Make sure the connection socket for the power plug of the heat belt

on the battery pack is placed upwards and the LEDs can be seen

through the window on the pocket on the frontside of the belt.

2. Connect the power plug of the heat belt 5 and the battery pack 6.

3. Adjust the desired temperature level (1 to 4) by pressing the on-/off-

button 7 (multiply). Each press increases the temperature level by
one step. If level 4 is already adjusted and you press the on-/off-button

again, the device will be switched off.

4. Place the heating belt around your back and abdomen and secure the

belt by fastening the Velcro. Depending on the position you put the belt
on, it warms different areas of your body.

5. If desired, you may also use the elastic support band 3 by putting

it around the outer side of the heat belt. This ensures an additionally
supporting effect of the belt.

Cleaning
and main­tenance

• Before each cleaning, disconnect the battery pack
resp. from the heat belt. Remove the battery pack from the belt.

• Never use strong detergents or hard brushes.

• Wipe the battery pack with a dry cloth carefully only.

• The heat belt may be washed in the washing machine at 30°C (gentle /
delicate wash cycle) in a laundry bag.

• Minor stains can be removed with a cloth or damp sponge with a little
liquid mild detergent.

• The heat belt cannot be tumble dried or ironed. The belt should dry on
the open air while switched off. Only use it again when it is completely
dry.

• Too frequently washing may lead to colour changes or to signs of wear
and tear. Only clean the belt in the washing machine if it is absolutely
necessary.

• Store the device folded out and without kinks in a dry room at room
temperature. The belt should cool down before storage.

5 Warranty

Warranty

repair
terms

Please contact your supplier or the service centre in case of a claim under the
warranty. If you have to return the unit, please enclose a copy of your receipt and
state what the defect is.
The following warranty terms apply:

1. The warranty period for MEDISANA products is three years from date of
purchase. In case of a warranty claim, the date of purchase has to be
proven by means of the sales receipt or invoice.

2. Defects in material or workmanship will be corrected free of charge within
the warranty period.

3. Repairs under warranty do not extend the warranty period either for the
unit or for the replacement parts.

4. The following is excluded under the warranty:
a. All damage which has arisen due to improper treatment, e.g.

non-observance of the user instructions.
b. All damage which is due to repairs or tampering by the customer or
unauthorised third parties.
c. Damage which has arisen during transport from the manufacturer to

de charge/bloc d’alimentation (modèle N° RSS1002-101084­W2E) prévus à cet effet.

• Si le câble secteur est endommagé, seul MEDISANA, un reven-

deur autorisé ou une personne qualiée peut le remplacer pour

éviter les dangers.

• Le câble de charge/bloc d’alimentation (modèle N° RSS1002­101084-W2E) fournis avec l’appareil ne peuvent en aucun cas
être utilisés pour recharger d’autres batteries, accumulateurs, ou
blocs d’accumulateurs.

La ceinture chauffante sur batterie HS 680 , destinée à un usage en
intérieur comme en extérieur, apportera une chaleur bienfaisante à votre
dos et votre ventre, tout en vous garantissant une liberté totale de mouve­ment – celle-ci peut en effet même être portée sous vos vêtements. Celle-ci
dispose de 4 niveaux de température réglables, un dispositif de protection
anti-surchauffe et un système de mise à l’arrêt automatique après une du­rée d’utilisation de 90 minutes. Une chaleur longue durée est notamment
assurée par la présence d’ions de lithium dans le bloc d’accumulateurs. La
ceinture est en outre lavable en machine à 30°C (programme spécial linge
délicat).

3 Utilisation

3.1
Recharge du
bloc d’accu­mulateurs

Avant toute première utilisation, ou si l’appareil n’a pas été utilisé depuis
un moment, le bloc d’accumulateurs 6 doit être entièrement rechargé,

sur une durée d’au moins 3 heures. An de recharger les accumulateurs,

branchez le câble du chargeur 1 au bloc d’accumulateurs et sur la prise.
Lors du chargement, l’indicateur d’état de charge LED 8 clignote en vert.
Lorsque le bloc d’accumulateurs est entièrement rechargé, l’indicateur
d’état de charge LED 8 diffuse une lumière verte en continu. Vous pou­vez alors débrancher le chargeur 1 du réseau d’alimentation électrique et
du bloc d’accumulateurs 6 . Si vous souhaitez vérier l’état de charge du

bloc d’accumulateurs, il vous suft de débrancher la che de connexion

de la ceinture chauffante 5 du bloc d’accumulateurs et d’appuyer sur le
bouton On/Off 7. L’indicateur d’état de charge LED 8 restera allumé en
vert, de manière continue, pendant environ 3 secondes, si l’état de charge
est égal ou supérieur à 25 %. Si, en revanche, l’état de charge est infé­rieur à 25 %, l’indicateur d’état de charge LED 8 clignotera, à 3 reprises,
pendant une durée d’une seconde. Dès lors, vous devrez recharger le bloc
d’accumulateurs 6.

INDICATIONS IMPORTANTES

• Ne rechargez le bloc d’accumulateurs que dans un endroit sec et à
température ambiante. Veillez à ne poser aucun objet sur le bloc
d’accumulateurs.

• CONSIGNES DE SÉCURITÉ CONCERNANT LES ACCUMULATEURS:

- Ne démontez en aucun cas le bloc d’accumulateurs ! Risque
d’explosion !

- Tenir le bloc à l’écart des ammes ou de toute source de chaleur !

- Ne jetez pas les piles et batteries usées dans les ordures
ménagères ! Jetez-les dans un conteneur prévu à cet effet
ou dans un point de collecte des batteries, dans un
commerce spécialisé.

Utilisation

1. Veillez à insérer le bloc d’accumulateurs

d’accumulateurs 4 fourni avec la ceinture chauffante. Au cours de
cette étape, le câble présent sur le bloc d’accumulateurs et destiné à

être branché sur la che de connexion de la ceinture chauffante 5 doit

être orienté vers le haut, et les LEDs vers l’extérieur du côté avant, de
manière à être visibles à travers la fenêtre de visualisation présente
sur la face avant de la ceinture.

2. Branchez la che de connexion de la ceinture chauffante 5 au bloc

d’accumulateurs 6.

3. Vous pouvez régler le niveau de température désiré (1 à 4) en appuy-

ant (le cas échéant, plusieurs fois) sur la touche On/Off 7. Chaque fois
que vous appuierez sur le bouton, la température passera au niveau
supérieur. Lorsque le degré 4 est atteint, si vous appuyez une nouvelle
fois sur la touche On/Off 7, l’appareil s’éteindra automatiquement.
