− Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with this memory card.
− Seek medical help immediately if the memory card is accidentally swallowed.
− Insert the memory card as indicated by the icon on the slot.
− Never force the memory card into the slot.
− Never bend or twist the memory card.
− After transport, wait until the memory card has reached ambient temperature before using it for the fi rst time. Major fl uctuations in temperature or humidity can lead to condensation which could cause an electrical short-circuit.
− Store the memory card in the protective case.
Electromagnetic compatibility
• You must comply with the European directives on electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) when making connections.
• Maintain a distance of at least one metre from high-frequency and magnetic sources of interference (TV sets, loudspeakers, mobile phones, etc.) in order to avoid malfunctions and data loss.
Cleaning
Ensure that the card does not become dirty. The card does not generally need to be cleaned.
− Do not use solvents, corrosive or aerosol detergent to clean the card.
− If necessary, the casing can be wiped down with a damp cloth.
Initial operation
Follow the instructions for your computer, mobile phone, digital camera, PD or other device.
Inserting the microSDXC memory card
− Remove the microSDXC card from the protective case and insert it in the microSDXC memory card slot in your computer, mobile phone, digital camera or PDA.
The system will recognize the memory card and assign it a drive letter.
− You can now use the memory card like any other drive (copy, delete data etc.).
− The memory card can likewise be formatted and used for new fi les.
Removing the microSDXC memory card
− Before you remove the card ensure that no data is currently being transferred. This could result in data loss.
− After removal, store the microSDXC memory card in the protective case supplied.

Troubleshooting
microSDXC card is not recognised:
• Is the card properly inserted?
• Check the Windows® device manager to ensure the the card slots have been installed properly. If necessary, re-install the card slots.
• If the card is connected to your computer via a USB card reader, please check the card reader to ensure the USB connection is fi rm.
• Check the card reader to ensure it can read an SDHC card. microSDXC cards are only recognised by microSDXC card readers.
Data cannot be read/ written:
• Did you format the microSDXC card with another computer? Different formats (FAT/NTFS) may be incompatible. Save the data and reformat the card using a compatible format.
• Is the card write­protected? Unlock the microSDXC card by toggling the lock switch.
Please note:
If the memory card can no longer be used as a result of an unforeseen keyboard combination, a failed data transfer or electrostatic discharge, remove the card as per instructions and then insert it again.
