Replacing the Patch
You should not have to replace the Patch during
your short procedure. Leave the Patch on until it
no longer sticks to your skin or until the procedure
is complete. An extra Patch may be included in the
kit. If necessary, apply water directly between the
Patch and your skin to help remove it. Be sure to
remove the Pendant from the Cradle, and then you
may dispose of the used Patch.

Recording Symptoms
Whenever you experience a
symptom, press the Symptom
button AND write the following into
a diary: the date and time, the
symptom you felt, your location,
and what you were doing.
Return your completed diary to
your doctor’s office.

Restarting the Pendant
You should never need to power the Pendant off.
The only exceptions are when changing the Battery
or replacing the Patch, two tasks you should not
have to perform during your short procedure.
To start monitoring again after a restart, follow
these steps:
1. Make sure the Patch is attached in the proper
position on your chest.
2. Make sure the Pendant
is firmly in its Cradle
and powered on and
the green light is
flashing rapidly.
3. Press the Symptom
button three times.
4. Confirm the green light
is flashing slowly,
indicating monitoring
has begun.
*Any other visual or audible indication
may mean the Pendant needs attention.

Changing the Battery
You should not have to change the Battery during your
short procedure.
The Pendant will beep and display a flashing orange
light when the Battery needs to be changed (about
once a week).
1. Power off the Pendant by pressing and holding the
Power button.
2. Unlock the Battery and remove it from the Pendant.
3. Replace with a fully charged Battery and lock it.
4. Turn the Pendant on and restart monitoring. Refer
to Restarting the Pendant on the previous page.
An extra Battery may be included in the kit. Recharge
the used Battery with the included Battery Charger and
Charger Cord.

Do’s and Don’ts
DO wear the Patch and Pendant day and night
for the entire length of your procedure.
DO make sure the Pendant is always powered on and
working properly. Check for a slow flashing green light.
DO make sure the Pendant is pushed fully down in
the Patch Cradle with the battery lock facing down.
DO always power the Pendant off before
removing its Battery or changing the Patch, and
remember to turn it back on.
DO wear the Patch and Pendant in the shower.
It is water resistant, but try to avoid prolonged
contact with water.
DO dry both the Pendant and the Patch Cradle
after getting wet.
DO NOT swim with or otherwise submerge the
Pendant in water.
DO take out the Pendant from the Patch Cradle
before disposing of used Patches.
DO NOT dispose of the Pendant or Batteries.
