USB-500/600 Series Data Loggers
Quick Start

System requirements and recommendations

PC with Pentium® II-class processor, 450 MHz (Pentium III class processor, 650 MHz or higher recommended)
Windows® 8/7/Vista®/XP, 32- and 64-bit versions Microsoft® .NET Framework 4.0 or greater (included on install CD
and download package)
CD-ROM drive or internet connection VGA or higher resolution monitor (Super VGA recommended) Microsoft mouse or compatible pointing device (recommended) At least 5 MB of free storage Microsoft Excel® 2000 or greater (optional)

Install the USB-500/600 Series Data Logger Software

Insert the USB-500/600 Series Data Logger Software CD and follow the instructions on the installation dialog boxes. If the CD does not start automatically, run setup.exe from the root of the CD.

Install the USB-500/600 Series Data Logger

Connect the USB-500/600 Series device to a USB port on your computer and follow the onscreen instructions.

Launch the USB-500/600 Series Data Logger Software

Launch the software from your Windows operating system.

Securing the USB and Mounting Clips to USB-600 Series Data Loggers

USB-600 Series data loggers include a clip-on cover for the USB connector. This cover must be fastened securely to gu arantee IP67 moisture protection on the USB-601 and USB-602.
USB-600 Series data loggers ar e also shipped with a mounting bracket that you can either permanently attach t o a surface or temporarily attach to an iron-based surface using the integrated magnet.
To ensure IP67 moisture protection on the USB-601 an d USB-602, secure the clip-on cover on the USB connecto r side first (labeled
USB), and then
secure th e ot her side. Make sure both the clip-on cover and the mounting bracket click securely
into the slots on each side of the logger.
