Product Revision Notice：Version Change for PLN/PLC-100

The PWM control IC TEA1552 used in PLN/PLC-100 series are phased-out by the IC provider. To prevent the IC
from shortage that influence the supply of our PLN/PLC-100 series, MEAN WELL already finished the design change
that switched the IC from TEA1552 to NCP1380. In order to meet the requirement of the latest ErP Directive for end
lighting systems, the setup time of PLN/PLC-100 series are shortened from 1200ms@230VAC to 500ms@230VAC.
Therefore, there will be a transition period after starting to pilot run the new version since March 31, 2014.
This design revision will only lead to minor electrical SPEC changes, however the compatibility to some end system may
still need to be re-confirmed. Please pay attention to this revision and contact yours sales representative during this
transition period if you have any questions. For more details, please refer to the information as below:

Start Date: Small quantity of pilot run on 2014.3.31 production batch
Schedule Date of Complete Implementation: Production batch after 2014.05.05
