The Meade®Handbox Holder

For use with Meade 16" RCX400 Telescopes

Introduction

The Handbox holder attaches to the base of your 16"
RCX telescope and holds the Autostar handbox in a
convenient position. The handbox holder is comprised
of two parts: A bolt and a clamp (Fig. A).

To attach the Handbox Holder:

1. Slide the bolt through the hole in the wide end of
the clamp.

2. Thread the bolt into the hole provided on the base
of the RCX, but do not tighten yet (Fig. B).
Position clamp at an angle that is comfortable for
you and then tighten the bolt to a firm feel.
