latest advances in acoustic technology, and like all MD. Lab products are built
and tested using the highest grade components and state of the art techniques.
When installed properly, they will provide many years of accurate sound
reproduction.
Please keep in mind that prolonged exposure to sound pressure levels in
excess of 100 dB can cause permanent hearing loss. These high performance
subwoofers can exceed that level, so please exercise restrain t in its operation in
order to preserve your ability to enjoy its fidelity in the future.

Control Descriptions
Level
This allows the adjustme nt o f the amplifier level of the subwoofer.
Turn clockwise to increase the level. If the sound becomes distorted reduce the level.
Installation
Make sure the Active Tube is firmly fixed in your vehicle.
Check before drilling or cutting holes.
DO NOT work near gas tank s, fuel lines, hydraulic lines or elec trical wiring.
DO NOT mount the Act ive Tub e in suc h a way a s to pinc h or d amage the wire s. Ma ke
sure everything is firmly connected, before attaching the +12V wire.
Ensure the +12V wire is fused as close as possible to the battery.
Always use a fuse with the recommended rating.
Wiring
• Connect the ground wire to the vehicle first (clean dirt and paint to bare
metal).
• Connect the RCA cables if applicable, OR
• Connect the speaker in wire by splicing into the headuni ts speaker wires.
See Note 1 on reverse.
• Connect the 12 volt to the positive battery terminal.
• Check all connections.
