When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed including the following: Read all instructions. Do not touch hot surfaces. To protec t against electrical shock do not immers e cord, plugs, or the induction cooker in water or other liquid. Close super vision is nec essary when any a ppliance is u sed by or near children. Unplug from outle t whe n not in use and b efore cleanin g. All ow to cool before putting on or taking off parts. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance ma lfunctio ns or has been damag ed in any manner. Return appliance to the nearest authorized service faci lity for examination, repair, or adjustment. The use of accessory attachm ents not recommended by the appliance manufacture may cause injuries. Do not use outdoors . Do not let cor d ha ng over edge of table or c ounter, or touch hot surfaces. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven. Extreme cautio n must b e used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquids. To disconnect, turn an y control to “off”, then remove pl ug from wall outlet. Do not use appliance for other than intended use. This ap pliance has a polarized plug (one bla de is wider t han the other). As a safety featu re, t his p lug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the o utlet, r everse t he plug. If it still does not fit, conta ct a qua lified electrician. Do not att empt to defeat this safety fe ature. Do not open lid when in use.
Do Not Cook on Broken C ook-Top – If cook-top should break, c leaning solutions and spillovers may penetrate the broken cook-top and create a risk of electric shock. Clean Cook-Top w ith Caution – If a w et sponge or cloth is used to wipe spills on a hot cooking are a, be careful to avoid steam burn, some cleaners can produce noxious fumes if applied to a hot surface. Do no t plac e meta llic o bjects such as knives, forks, spoon s and lids on the Table Stove since they can get hot.
