Application

Typically, the FP-BF humidifier is used when
the humidity of the sample gas and the
calibration gas differs and the analyser shows
a significant cross-sensitivity against water
vapour. Before entering the cooler, the zero
gas passes the humidifier and leaves the
cooler saturated at a stable dew point as well
as the sample gas. Test gases with water­soluble components must not be passed via
the humidifier.

Description

The M&C FP-BF humidifier consists of our
standard filter components. With the F-120G
or F-120G-D glass body, the FP-BF humidifier
has only a volume of 70 ml.

The gas passes a bubbler that intensifies
the humidifying effect. The glass humidifier
body enables the control of the liquid level
without dismantling the body. No tools are
required for refilling the humidifier. The opti­mal position of the o-ring guarantees tight­ness between head and glass body.

The humidifier can be rotated about 180° in
the holder for wall mounting. This allows a
flexible adaptation of in- and outlet to local
conditions.

For special applications, the FP-BF-GL25 can
be provided with a GL25-12 connection at the
bottom of the glass body.

Overpressure at the outlet or underpressure
at the inlet of the humidifier must be avoided.
Otherwise the liquid will be displaced to the
gas inlet.
