WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury to persons when using the washer, follow basic precautions,

[] Under certain conditions, hydrogen gas may be

produced in a hot water system that has not been used for 2 weeks or more. HYDROGEN GAS IS

EXPLOSIVE. Ifthe hot water system has not been used for such a period, before using the washing

machine, turn on all hot water faucets and let the water flow from each for several minutes. This will release

any accumulated hydrogen gas. As the gas is flammable, do not smoke or use an open flame during this time.

SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS

Do not allow children to play on or in the washer. Close supervision of children is necessary when the washer is used

near children.

Before the washer is removed from service or discarded,

remove the door or lid.

WHAT'S NEW UNDER THE LiD?

Your new washer will operate differently than your past agitator-style washer.

Lid Lock

To allow for higher spin speeds, the lid will lock and the

Lid Locked light will turn on. When this light is lit, the lid is locked and cannot be opened. When this light is blinking, the washer is paused. When this light is off, the lid can be opened. Washer lid lock will remain unlocked until first spin. After a cycle is started, water will enter washer. If you need to

open the lid to add a garment after lid has locked, you must "_J'i"41'J

press START/Pause and wait for the lid to unlock. The lid will only unlock after washer movement has stopped. Depending on when in the cycle you try to pause, it may take several

seconds to several minutes for the lid to unlock. Then add garment, close lid, and press START/Pause again to resume

the cycle.

NOTE: If the START/Pause button is held for more than 3 seconds, the cycle will cancel and the washer will drain.

IM PORTANT:

[] After the washer basket fills to the desired water level, the lid must be closed before the wash cycle can start. If filling stops with the lid

open, close lid, and press START button. If lid is left open for more than 10 minutes, the water will pump out automatically.

Sensing/Fill

This washer will perform a series of spins to check for load size and determine the correct water level for the

load. During this time, a series of clicks and a whirring noise signal that sensing technology is determining if

there is an off-balance load.

Sounds

At different stages of the wash cycle, you may hear sounds and pauses that are different from those of your previous washer. For example, you may hear a clicking and hum at the beginning of the cycle as the lid lock goes through a self-test. There will be different kinds of humming and whirring sounds as the agitator tests for load balance or moves the load. And, sometimes, you may hear nothing at all as the washer allows time for clothes to soak.

SOIL LEVEL

Select the most suitable setting for your load. For heavily soiled and sturdy fabrics, select Heavy Soil Level for more wash time, if needed. For lightly soiled and delicate fabrics, select Light

Soil Level for less wash time, if needed. Lighter soil level setting will help reduce tangling and wrinkling.

WASH TEMP

Wash Temp senses and maintains uniform water temperatures by regulating incoming hot and cold water.

Select a wash temperature based on the type of fabric and soils being washed. For best results and following the garment label

instructions, use the warmest wash water safe for your fabric. [] On some models and cycles, warm and hot water may be

cooler than your previous washer. O

[] Even in a cold and cool water wash, some warm water may

be added to the washer to maintain a minimum temperature.

WASH CYCLE KNOB

Use the Wash Cycle knob to select cycles on your washer. Knob does not advance during the progress of the cycle, see cycle status lights for each stage of the process. See "Cycle

Guide" for detailed descriptions of cycles.

EXTRA RINSE This option can be used to automatically add a second rinse to

most cycles.

PRESOAK (depending on model)

Use this option to add an extra soak period to any cycle when washing heavily soiled garments. This option will alternate between a soak and a gentle agitation.

NOTE= If your washer does not have a presoak/soak option or cycle, press the Start/Pause button to pause the cycle after the washer has filled with water. When you have soaked your items for the desired amount of time, press the Start/Pause button again to continue the cycle.

START/PAUSE BUTTON Press to start the selected cycle; press again to pause the

cycle and unlock the lid. NOTE: If the washer is spinning, it may take several minutes to

unlock the lid. Press and hold for 3 seconds to cancel a cycle and the washer will drain.

The Cycle Status Lights show the progress of a cycle. At each stage of the process, you may notice sounds or

pauses that are different from traditional washers.

SENSI NG/FILL

Once you close the lid and start a cycle, the washer will begin filling with the initial amount of water. This will take

approximately 2-3 minutes and the lid will be unlocked at this time. Then the lid must be closed.

If the lid is open when the water stops entering the washer, the cycle will not continue until the lid has been

closed and the START/Pause button is pressed. If the cycle has not been continued within 10 minutes of the

water filling the washer, the washer will pump out the water. If the lid is closed, it will then lock and the sensing

process begins and additional water will be added, if required. You will hear the motor turn the basket in short

pulses to thoroughly wet the load.

WASH

You will hear the motor and agitator moving the load. During the first stage of the sensing/wash cycle, water

will partially fill the washer and then begin to move the load. It is normal to have the sensing light on during this

stage. You will hear the agitator rotate, followed by a several second pause. This process will repeat for several

minutes, allowing the entire load to become saturated. The lower water level combined with HE detergent at this

stage allows for concentrated cleaning. Concentrated cleaning delivers the detergent directly to the soils. It is

normal for the load to be above the water line during this stage. At the beginning of the second stage, the washer

will add water to the correct level based on the load size. You will hear the agitator move quicker during this stage

of the wash cycle. The motor sounds may change at different stages in the wash cycle.

RINSE

You will hear sounds similar to the wash cycle as the washer rinses and moves the load. For cycles that use the Extra Rinse option, you will hear sounds similar to the wash cycle

as the washers rinses and moves the load.

SPIN

The washer spins the load at increasing speeds for proper water removal, based on the selected cycle

and spin speed.

DONE

Once the cycle is complete, this light will come on. Remove the load promptly for best results.

LID LOCKED Toallow for higher spin speeds, the lid will lock and

the Lid Locked light will turn on. When this light is lit, the lid is locked and cannot be opened. When this

light is blinking, the washer is paused. When this light is off, the lid can be opened.

If you need to open the lid, press START/Pause. The lid will

unlock once the washer movement has stopped. This may take several

minutes if the load was spinning at high speed. Press START/Pause

again to resume the cycle.

NOTE: Ifthe START/Pause button is held for more than 3 seconds, the cycle will cancel and the washer will drain.

the load before the wash portion of the cycle begins, and uses

a higher water level than other cycles.

interruption. Also use for loads that require rinsing only. This cycle uses a spin to shorten drying times for heavy fabrics

or special-care items washed by hand. Use this cycle to drain washer after cancelling a cycle or completing a cycle after a power failure.

Use this cycle every 30 washes to keep the inside of your washer fresh and clean. This cycle uses a higher water level.

Use with affresh '_Washer Cleaner tablet or liquid chlorine bleach to thoroughly clean the inside of your washer. This cycle

should not be interrupted. See "Washer Care" IMPORTANT: Do not place garments or other items in the

washer during the Clean Washer with affresh '_ cycle. Use this cycle with an empty wash tub.

Use this cycle to soak small spots of set-in stains on fabrics. The washer will use intermittent agitation and soaking. After time has expired, water will drain, but washer will not spin. Cycle is complete.

*All rinses are cold.

USING YOUR WASHER

Fire Hazard

Never place items in the washer that are dampened with gasoline or other flammable fluids.

No washer can complete(y remove oil. Do not dry anything that has ever had any type of oil on

it (including cooking oils). Doing so can result in death, explosion, or fire.

1, Sort and prepare your laundry

[] Empty pockets. Loose change, buttons, or any small object

can pass under the agitator and become trapped, causing unexpected sounds.

[] Sort items by recommended cycle, water temperature,

and colorfastness.

[] Separate heavily soiled items from lightly soiled. [] Separate delicate items from sturdy fabrics. [] Do not dry garments if stains remain after washing, because

heat can set stains into fabric.

[] Treat stains prompt(y. [] Close zippers, fasten hooks, tie strings and sashes, and

remove non-washable trim and ornaments.

[] Mend rips and tears to avoid further damage to items

during washing.

Helpful Tips:

[] When washing water-proof or water-resistant items,

load evenly.

[] Use mesh garment bags to help avoid tangling when washing

delicate or small items.

[] Turn knits inside out to avoid pilling. Separate lint-takers from

lint-givers. Synthetics, knits, and corduroy fabrics will pick up lint from towels, rugs, and chenille fabrics.

NOTE: Always read and follow fabric care label instructions to avoid damage to your garments.

Electrical Shock Hazard

Plug into a grounded 3 prong outlet. Do not remove ground prong. Do not use an adapter.

Do not use an extension cord. Fai(ure to follow these instructions can resu(t in death,

fire, or electrical shock.

Add laundry products

Add a measured of amount of HE detergent or single-dose laundry packet into the basket.

If using Oxi-type boosters, color-safe bleach, or fabric softener crystals, add to the bottom of the washer basket before adding clothes.

IMPORTANT: Use only High Efficiency detergents. The package will be marked "HE" or "High Efficiency:' Low-water washing creates excessive sudsing with a regular non-HE detergent. Using regular detergent will likely result in longer cycle times and reduced rinsing performance. It may also result in component failures and noticeable mold or mildew. HE detergents are made to produce the right amount of suds for the best performance.

NOTE: Follow the manufacturer's instructions to determine the amount of laundry products to use.

3, Load laundry into washer

Load garments in loose heaps evenly around basket wall. For best results, do not pack the load tightly. Do not wrap large items such as sheets around the agitator; load them in loose piles around the sides of the basket. Try mixing different sized items to reduce tangling.

IMPORTANT: Do not tightly pack or force items into washer. Items need to

move freely for best cleaning and to reduce wrinkling and tangling.

Add liquid chlorine bleach to dispenser

Add fabric softener to dispenser (on some models)

Pour a measured amount of liquid fabric softener into dispenser; always follow

manufacturer's directions for correct amount of fabric softener based on your load size.

Dilute liquid fabric softener by filling the dispenser with warm water until liquid reaches

the underside of the rim. See max fill line arrows. IMPORTANT: Fabric Softener will dispense during the final rinse

portion of the cycle.

Adding Liquid Fabric Softener Manually to Wash Load

During the final rinse, wait until the washer has completed filling, press the START/Pause button to pause the washer. Lift the lid and add the measured recommended amount of liquid fabric

softener. Do not use more than the recommended amount. Close the lid and press the START/Pause button again to start the

washer.

Chlorine Bleach

Do not overfill, dilute, or use more than 1 cup (250 mL). Do not use color-safe bleach or Oxi products in the same cycle with liquid chlorine bleach.

Press the START/Pause button to start the wash cycle. When

the cycle has finished, the DONE indicator will light. Promptly

remove garments after cycle has completed to avoid odor, reduce

wrinkling, and rusting of metal hooks, zippers, and snaps.

Adding garment(s)

If you need to open the lid to add 1 or 2 missed garments: During the Fill/Sensing stage, open the lid and add missed

garments. Then close lid and press START/Pause to restart the cycle. If you need to open the lid to add a garment after this point,

you must press START/Pause and wait for the lid to unlock. This

may take several minutes if the load was spinning at high speed. You may hear a winding sound as the basket slows down. Then add garment, close lid, and press START/Pause again to resume the cycle.

NOTE:

[] Washer will fill with the lid open. [] If your washer does not have a soak option, then pause

your washer to soak. When you are done soaking then

press Start/Pause button to bring washer out of Pause.

WATER iNLET HOSES

Replace inlet hoses after 5 years of use to reduce the risk of hose failure. Periodically inspect and replace inlet hoses if bulges, kinks,

cuts, wear, or leaks are found. When replacing your inlet hoses, mark the date of replacement on

the label with a permanent marker. NOTE= This washer does not include inlet hoses. See the

"installation Instructions" for more information.

WASH ER CARE

Recommendations to Help Keep Your Washer Clean and Performing at its Best

1. Always follow the detergent manufacturer's instructions regarding the amount of detergent to use. Never use more than the recommended amount because that may increase the rate at which detergent and soil residue accumulate inside your washer, which in turn may result in undesirable odor.

2. Use warm and hot wash water settings sometimes (not exclusively cold water washes), because they do a better job of controlling the rate at which soils and detergent accumulate.

3. Always leave the washer lid open between uses to help dry out the washer and prevent the buildup of odor-causing residue.

Cleaning Your Top Loading Washer Read these instructions completely before beginning the

routine cleaning processes recommended below. This Washer Maintenance Procedure should be performed, at a minimum, once per month or every 30 wash cycles, whichever occurs sooner, to control the rate at which soils and detergent may otherwise accumulate in your washer.

Cleaning the Inside of the Washer To keep your washer odor-free, follow the usage instructions

provided above, and use this recommended monthly cleaning procedure:

Recommended Cycle for Cleaning the Washer Refer to the "Cycle Guide" for the optimal cycle for cleaning the

inside of the washer. Use this cycle with affresh _ Washer Cleaner or liquid chlorine bleach as described below.

Begin procedure

1. affresh _ Washer Cleaner Cycle Procedure (Recommended for Best Performance):

a. Open the washer lid and remove any clothing or items. b. Place an affresh 'R;Washer Cleaner tablet in the bottom of

the washer basket.

c. Do not place an affresh _; Washer Cleaner tablet in the

detergent dispenser.

d. Do not add any detergent or other chemical to the washer

when following this procedure.

e. Close the washer lid. f. Select the cycle recommended for cleaning the inside of

the washer.

g. Press the START/Pause/Unlock button to start the cycle.

NOTE: For best results, do not interrupt cycle. If cycle must be interrupted, press START/Pause/Unlock once or twice (depending on model). After the cycle has stopped, run a RINSE & SPIN cycle to rinse cleaner from washer.

2. Chlorine Bleach Procedure (Alternative):

a. Open the washer lid and remove any clothing or items. b. Add 1 cup (236 mL) of liquid chlorine bleach to the bleach

compartment.

NOTE =Use of more liquid chlorine bleach than is

recommended above could cause washer damage over time. c. Close the washer lid.

d. Do not add any detergent or other chemical to the washer

when following this procedure.

e. Select the cycle recommended for cleaning the inside of the

washer.

f. Press the START/Pause/Unlock button to start the cycle.

NOTE: For best results, do not interrupt cycle. If cycle must be interrupted, press START/Pause/Unlock once or twice (depending on model). After the cycle has stopped, run a

RINSE & SPIN cycle to rinse cleaner from washer.

Cleaning the Dispensers After a period of using your washer, you may find some residue

buildup in the washer's dispensers. To remove residue from the dispensers, wipe them with a damp cloth and towel dry. Do not attempt to remove the dispensers or trim for cleaning. The dispensers and trim are not removable. If your model has a dispenser drawer, however, remove the drawer and clean it before or after you run the Clean Washer cycle. Use an all-purpose surface cleaner, if needed.

Cleaning the Outside of the Washer Use a soft, damp cloth or sponge to wipe away any spills.

Use only mild soaps or cleaners when cleaning external washer surfaces.

IMPORTANT: To avoid damaging the washer's finish, do not use abrasive products.

NON=USE AND VACATION CARE

Operate your washer only when you are home. If moving, or not using your washer for a period of time, follow these steps:

1. Unplug or disconnect power to washer.

2. Turn off water supply to washer, to avoid flooding due to water pressure surge.

F WINTER STORAGE CARE

IMPORTANT: To avoid damage, install and store washer where it will not freeze. Because some water may stay in hoses, freezing can damage washer. If storing or moving during freezing weather, winterize your washer.

To winterize washer:

1. Shut off both water faucets; disconnect and drain water inlet hoses.

2. Put 1 qt. (1 L) of R.V.-type antifreeze in basket and run washer on RINSE & SPIN cycle for about 30 seconds to mix antifreeze and remaining water.

3. Unplug washer or disconnect power.

TRANSPORTING YOUR WASHER

F REINSTALLING/USING WASHER AGAIN "_

1. Shut off both water faucets. Disconnect and drain water inlet hoses.

2. If washer will be moved during freezing weather, follow Winter Storage Care directions before moving.

3. Disconnect drain from drain system and drain any remaining water into a pan or bucket. Disconnect drain hose from back

of washer.

4. Unplug power cord.

5. Place inlet hoses and drain hose inside washer basket.

6. Drape power cord over edge and into washer basket.

7. Place packing tray from original shipping materials back inside washer. If you do not have packing tray, place heavy blankets or towels into basket opening. Close lid and place tape over lid and down front of washer. Keep lid taped until washer is placed in new location. Transport washer in upright position.

To reinstall washer after non-use, vacation, winter storage, or moving:

1. Refer to "Installation Instructions" to locate, level, and connect washer.

2. Before using again, run washer through the following recommended procedure:

To use washer again:

1. Flush water pipes and hoses. Reconnect water inlet hoses. Turn on both water faucets.

Electrical Shock Hazard

call for service to remove items. It is normal to hear metal items on clothing such as metal snaps,

buckles, or zippers touch against the basket. It is normal to hear the pump making a continuous humming sound

with periodic gurgling or surging as final amounts of water are removed during the Drain & Spin cycles.

You may hear the hum of the sensing spins after you have started the washer. This is normal.

Water can back up out of a clogged sink or drainpipe. Check all household plumbing for leaks (laundry tubs, drainpipe, water pipes, and faucets.)

Both hoses must be attached and have water flowing to inlet valve. Both hot and cold water faucets must be turned on.

Verrouillage du couvercle @

Pour un essorage & plus haute vitesse, le couvercle se verrouille et le temoin de verrouillage du couvercle s'allume. Lorsque ce temoin lumineux s'allume, cela signifie que le couvercle est verrouille et ne peut 6tre ouvert. Lorsque ce temoin lumineux clignote, cela signifie que la laveuse effectue une pause. Lorsque ce temoin lumineux est eteint, cela signifie qu'on peut ouvrir le couvercle. Apres le demarrage d'un programme, de I'eau penetre dans la laveuse

et celle-ci se verrouille. Si I'on doit ouvrir le couvercle pour ajouter un v6tement apres cette etape, il faut appuyer sur START/Pause (mise en marche/pause) puis attendre que

le couvercle se deverrouille. Le couvercle se deverrouille

uniquement une lois que le mouvement de la laveuse a cess& Selon le moment ou I'on souhaite suspendre le programme, le

couvercle peut mettre entre plusieurs secondes et plusieurs

minutes & se deverrouiller. Appuyer sur START/Pause (mise

en marche/pause) pour poursuivre le programme.

REMARQUE : Si I'on appuie sur le bouton START/Pause

(mise en marche/pause) pendant plus de 3 secondes, le

BOUTON DE PROGRAMME DE LAVAGE

Utiliser le bouton du programme de lavage pour selectionner les programmes disponibles sur la laveuse. Le bouton reste statique pendant la progression du programme - voir les temoins lumineux de programme pour suivre sa progression etape par etape. Voir "Guide de programmes" pour des descriptions de programmes detaillees.

EXTRA RINSE (rinqage supplementaire)

On peut utiliser cette option pour ajouter automatiquement un second ringage a la plupart des programmes,

PRESOAK (pre=trempage) (selon le modele)

UtiNser cette option pour ajouter une periode de trempage supplementaire A n'importe quel programme Iors du nettoyage de v6tements tres sales. Cette option alterne entre un trempage et une agitation delicate.

REMARQUE : Si la laveuse n'est pas equipee d'une option ou d'un programme de pre-trempage ou de trempage, appuyer sur le bouton Start/Pause (mise en marche/pause) pour interrompre le programme apres le rempNssage de la cuve d'eau. Lorsque les articles ont trempe durant la periode de temps souhaitee, appuyer de nouveau sur le bouton Start/Pause (mise en marche/pause) pour reprendre le programme.

Appuyer sur ce bouton pour demarrer le programme selectionn6, puis appuyer de nouveau pour suspendre le programme et deverrouiller le couvercle.

REMARQUE : Si la laveuse tourne, le couvercle peut mettre quelques minutes A se deverrouiller. Appuyer pendant 3 secondes pour annuler un programme et la laveuse se vidangera.

Les temoins lumineux de programme indiquent la progression du programme. A chaque etape du processus,

il est possible que I'on remarque des pauses ou des sons differents de ceux des laveuses ordinaires.

SENSI NG/FILL (d_tection/remplissage)

Une fois le couvercle ferme et un programme lance, la

laveuse commence & se remplir selon la quantite d'eau

initiale. Cela peut prendre entre 2 & 3 minutes environ, le couvercle n'6tant pas encore verrouill6 a cette etape. Le couvercle doit alors 6tre ferme.

Si le couvercle est ouvert alors que I'eau cesse d'entrer clans la machine, le programme ne demarre pas tant que

I'on n'a pas ferme le couvercle et que I'on n'a pas appuye sur le bouton START/Pause (mise en marche/pause). Si le programme n'a pas commence clans les 10 minutes qui suivent le remplissage de la laveuse, la laveuse commence

& pomper I'eau pour I'evacuer.

WASH (lavage)

On entend le moteur et I'agitateur deplacer la charge.

Durant la premiere etape du programme de detection/

lavage, la laveuse se remplit partiellement d'eau et commence & deplacer la charge. II est normal que le temoin

lumineux de detection soit allume & ce stade. On entend I'agitateur pivoter, puis la machine effectue une deuxieme

pause. Ce processus se repete pendant plusieurs minutes, ce qui permet & la charge de s'imbiber completement. Ace stade, le niveau d'eau inferieur associe & un detergent HE

permet un nettoyage concentre. Ce nettoyage concentre permet ,au detergent d'&tre distribue directement sur la

salet& Ace stade, il est normal que la charge depasse du niveau d'eau. Au debut de la deuxieme etape, la laveuse

ajoute de I'eau jusqu'& ce que le niveau ideal par rapport au volume de la charge soit atteint. Durant cette etape

du programme de lavage, on entend I'agitateur deplacer la charge plus rapidement. Les bruits emis par le moteur

peuvent changer Iors des differentes etapes du programme de lavage.

RINSE (rinqage) On entend des sons similaires & ceux entendus Iors du programme de lavage & mesure que la laveuse rince et

deplace la charge. Pour les programmes utilisant I'option Extra Rinse (ringage supplementaire), on entend des sons similaires & ceux entendus Iors du programme de lavage & mesure que la laveuse rince et deplace la charge.

SPiN (essorage) La laveuse essore la charge & des vitesses augmentant

graduellement pour une bonne extraction de I'eau, en fonction du programme et de la vkesse d'essorage

selectionn6s.

DONE (terrain6)

Une fois le programme termine, ce temoin s'allume. Retirer la charge rapidement pour un resultat optimal.

LI D LOCKED (couvercle verrouill6)

Pour un essorage & plus haute vitesse, le couvercle se verrouille et le temoin de verrouillage du couvercle

s'allume. Lorsque ce temoin lumineux s'allume, cela signifie que le couvercle est verrouille et ne peut &tre

ouvert. Lorsque ce temoin lumineux clignote, cela signifie que la laveuse effectue une pause. Lorsque ce temoin

lumineux est eteint, cela signifie qu'on peut ouvrir le couvercle.

Si I'on doit ouvrir le couvercle, appuyer sur START/Pause

(mise en marche/pause). Le Il_j/ ,oLd3,ec.,......1

couvercle se deverrouille une fois que le mouvement de la

laveuse a cess& II se peut que cela prenne plusieurs minutes si la laveuse essorak la charge A grande vitesse. Appuyer de nouveau sur START/ Pause (mise en marche/pause) pour poursuivre le programme.

REMARQUE : Si I'on appuie sur le bouton START/Pause (mise en marche/pause) pendant plus de 3 secondes, le

programme s'annule et la laveuse se vidange.

Utiliser ce programme pour laver de gros articles tels que des vestes et de petites couettes. La laveuse se remplit de suffisamment d'eau pour mouiller la charge avant que la portion de lavage du programme ne commence. Ce programme utilise plus d'eau que les autres programmes.

Utilise de I'eau suppl6mentaire et une action de lavage en alternance pour les charges mixtes tres sales. Le processus

de d6tection du niveau d'eau peut ne pas prendre le m&me

temps pour tousles articles car certains tissus absorbent

plus d'eau que d'autres. Utiliser ce programme pour les articles en coton et les

charges de tissus mixtes presentant un degre de salete normal.

Utiliser ce programme pour laver des charges de v&tements qui ne se repassent pas tels que chemises de sport, chemisiers, v6tements de travail tout-aller, articles A pressage permanent et melanges de tissus.

Utiliser ce programme pour laver des v&tements legerement sales dont I'etiquette de soin indique "Soie lavable en machine" ou "Programme delicat". Placer les petits articles dans des sacs en filet avant le lavage. Ce programme utilise un niveau d'eau pred6termin6 superieur.

Un lavage A I'eau froide et un lavage renforce eliminent les

taches en douceur tout en prenant soin des tissus. Les

reglages peuvent &tre ajustes comme souhaite, mais ils doivent se faire uniquement A I'eau froide.

Combine un ringage et un essorage A grande vitesse pour les charges necessitant un programme de ringage supplementaire ou pour finir de prendre soin d'une charge apres une coupure de courant. Utiliser egalement pour les charges necessitant uniquement un ringage.

Ce programme utilise un essorage pour reduire les durees de sechage pour les tissus Iourds ou les articles laves A la main qui necessitent un soin special. Utiliser ce programme pour vidanger la laveuse apres avoir annule un programme ou termine un programme apres une coupure de courant.

Utiliser ce programme A I'issue de chaque serie de 30 lavages pour que I'interieur de la laveuse reste frais et propre. Ce programme utilise un niveau d'eau plus elev& Avec ce programme, utiliser une tablette de nettoyant pour laveuse affresh '_'ou de I'eau de Javel pour nettoyer soigneusement I'interieur de votre laveuse. Ce programme ne dolt pas 6tre interrompu. Voir "Entretien de la laveuse". IMPORTANT : Ne pas placer de v6tements ou autres articles dans la laveuse pendant le programme Clean Washer with affresh _. Utiliser ce programme avec une cuve de lavage vide.

Utiliser ce programme pour faire tremper les petites

taches tenaces sur les tissus. La laveuse alterne periodes

d'agitation et de trempage. Une fois la duree expiree, I'eau est 6vacuee mais la laveuse n'effectue pas d'essorage. Le programme est termin&

Risque d'incendie

Ne jamais mettre des articles humect_s d'essence ou d'autres fluides inflammables dans la laveuse.

Aucune laveuse ne peut compl_ternent enlever I'huile. Ne pas faire s6cher des articles qui ont _t6 sails par

tout genre d'huile (y compris les huiles de cuisson). Le non-respect de ces instructions peut causer un

d_c_s, une e×plosion ou un incendie.

Trier et pr6parer le linge

[] Vider les poches. Des pieces de monnaie, des boutons

ou objets de petite taille sont susceptibles de glisser sous I'agitateur et de s'y coincer, ce qui peut entrafne des bruits

inattendus.

[] Trier les articles en fonction du programme et de

la temperature d'eau recommandes, ainsi que de la solidite des teintures.

[] Separer les articles tres sales des articles peu sales. [] Separer les articles delicats des tissus resistants. [] Ne pas secher Jes v6tements si Jes taches sont toujours

presentes apres le lavage car la chaleur pourrait fixer les

taches sur le tissu.

[] Traiter Jes taches sans delai. [] Fermer les fermetures & glissiere, attacher les crochets,

cordons et ceintures en tissu. Oter les garnitures et les ornements non lavables.

[] Reparer les dechirures pour eviter que les articles

ne s'endommagent encore davantage Iors du lavage.

Risque de choc _lectrique

Brancher sur une prise a 3 alv_oles reli6e a la terre. Ne pas enlever la broche de liaison a la terre.

Ne pas utiliser un adaptateur. Ne pas utilJser un c_ble de rallonge.

Le non-respect de ces instructions peut causer un d_c_s, un incendie ou un choc _lectrique.

[] Retourner les tricots pour eviter le boulochage. Separer les

articles qui forment la charpie de ceux qui la retiennent. Les articles synthetiques, tricots et articles en velours retiennent la charpie provenant des serviettes, des tapis et des tissus chenille.

REMARQUE : Toujours Sireet suivre les instructions des etiquettes de soin des tissus pour eviter d'endommager

les v6tements.

Ajouter les produits de lessive

Verser une mesure de detergent HE ou un sachet de lessive A dose unique dans le panier.

Si I'on utilise des produits activateurs de detergent de type Oxi, un agent de blanchiment sans danger pour les couleurs ou de I'assouplissant pour tissu sous forme de cristaux, Jes ajouter au fond du panier de la laveuse avant d'ajouter les v6tements.

IMPORTANT : Utiliser uniquement des detergents Haute efficacit& L:emballage portera la mention "HE" ou "High Efficiency" (haute efficacite). Un lavage avec faible consommation d'eau produit un exces de mousse avec un detergent non HE ordinaire. II est probable que I'utilisation d'un detergent ordinaire prolonge la duree des programmes et reduise la performance de ringage. Ceci peut aussi entrafner des defaillances des composants et une moisissure perceptible. Les detergents HE sont congus pour produire la quantite de mousse adequate pour

le meilleur rendement. REMARQUE : Suivre les instructions du fabricant pour

determiner la quantite de produits de lessive A utiliser.
