DOOR REVERSAL OPTIONS
If desired, you may change your door to open from the left
instead of the right, using the following directions:
If your door looks like this,
follow the “Squared-Off
Door” instructions
(pages 2–3)
If your door looks like this,
follow the “Round Door”
instructions (page 4):
REMOVING DRYER DOOR
(all styles)
The procedure for removing the door from the dryer, reversing
the hinge, and reinstalling the door on the dryer is the same
for all models. Refer to the section for your style door for
instructions on disassembling and reversing the door.
1. Remove screws from door hinge
If your door looks like
this, follow the “Recessed
Window” instructions
(pages 4–5)
TOOLS AND PARTS
Gather the required tools and parts before starting installation.
Tools needed:
Phillips screwdriver
Parts supplied:
Using a Phillips screwdriver, detach door from its original
location by removing all 4 screws from door hinge, as shown.
SQUARED-OFF DOOR
1. Remove screws from door panel
Bolt hole cover labels (2 small, 1 large)
NOTE: If your dryer already has plastic bolt hole covers, you
may reuse them to complete door reversal, or you may replace
plastic covers with labels provided.

To help avoid damaging or scratching door, lay it on a towel or
soft cloth. Then use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the screws
(6 or 9, depending on model) from door panel, as shown.
2. Lift out inner door panel
5. Rotate window assembly
Lift out inner door panel and set aside.
3. Disengage window assembly from
outer door ring
Rotate the window assembly clockwise until the tabs disengage
from the retainers on the outer door ring. Then lift the window
assembly out of the door ring and set aside.
4. Move ller plate
Filler plate
Rotate the window assembly 180°.
6. Rotate insert panel
Lift the 2 tabs of the insert panel off the 2 plastic pins
on the window. Rotate the insert panel so that the at part
of the opening is to the bottom, then slide the tabs down onto
the 2 pins, as shown.
7. Reattach the outer door ring to the
window assembly
Tab
Grasp the tab on the ller plate and gently rotate outward while
lifting out until the locking clip disengages. Then align with the
opening on the opposite side and press down into place until
the locking clip engages.
Lower the window assembly into the outer door ring, making
sure the window is the top (squared-off end) of the outer door
ring. Then rotate the window assembly counterclockwise to
engage the tabs in the retainers on the outer door ring.
NOTE: It may help to hold the outer door up so that the window
assembly ts completely down into the outer door ring.
Now proceed to “REVERSING THE HINGE.”

ROUND DOOR
1. Remove screws from door panel
To help avoid damaging or scratching door, lay it on a towel or
soft cloth. Then use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the screws
(6 or 9, depending on model) from door panel, as shown.
4. Rotate outer door assembly
Rotate the outer door assembly 180°.
Now proceed to “REVERSING THE HINGE.”
RECESSED WINDOW
2. Lift out inner door panel
Lift out inner door panel and set aside.
3. Rotate insert panel
1. Remove screws from door panel
To help avoid damaging or scratching door, lay it on a towel
or soft cloth. Then use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the
6 screws from door panel, as shown.
2. Lift out inner door panel
Lift the 2 tabs of the insert panel off the 2 plastic pins
on the window. Rotate the insert panel so that the at part
of the opening is to the bottom, then slide the tabs down onto
the 2 pins, as shown.

Lift out inner door panel and set aside.
3. Remove insert panel
Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the 4 screws securing
the insert panel to the outer door ring. Lift out the insert panel
and set aside.
4. Disengage inner trim ring from outer
door ring
6. Rotate and reattach the outer door
ring to the inner trim ring
Rotate the inner trim ring 180° and lower it back into the outer
door ring, making sure the handle is on the same side as the
ller plate. Then rotate the window assembly counterclockwise
to engage the tabs in the retainers on the outer door ring.
NOTE: It may help to hold the outer door up so that the inner
trim ring ts completely down into the outer door ring.
7. Reinstall insert panel
Rotate the inner trim ring clockwise until the tabs disengage
from the retainers on the outer door ring. Then lift the window
assembly out of the door ring and set aside.
5. Move ller plate

Grasp the tab on the ller plate and gently rotate outward while
lifting out until the locking clip disengages. Then align with the
opening on the opposite side and press down into place until
the locking clip engages.
Lower the insert panel onto the outer door ring. Using a Phillips
screwdriver, secure with the 4 screws removed earlier.
Now proceed to “REVERSING THE HINGE.”
