SEALED BURNERS
Thesealedbumersaresecuredtothecooktop andare notdesignedto be removed. Since
the burners are sealed into the cooktop, bo/overs or spillswill notseep underneath

eachuse.The headportionoftheburnerhas a removablecap that is easily removedfor cleaning. (See page 6 for cleaning direc-

Burnercaps mustbecorrectlyplacedonthe
burnerbaseforproperoperalonoftheburner.
HIGH PERFORMANCE
There is one high speed burner on your cooktop, locatedin the right front position.
Thisburneroffershigherspeedcookingthat canbe usedto quicklybringwater to a boil
andfor large-quantitycooking.
> Aproperlyadiustedburnerwithcleanportswilllightwithinafewseconds.I usingnatural
gas,theflamewill be bluewitha deeperblueinnercone.
Iftheburnerflameis yellowor isnoisy,theair/gasmixturemaybeincorrect.Contacta
servicetechnicianto adiust.(Adiustmentsare notcoveredby thewarranty.) With LP gas, some yellow tips on the flames are acceptable.This is normal and
adjustmentisnot necessary.

SIMMER BURNER*
This burneris locatedin the centeror right
rear position.The simmerburner offers a
lower BTU flame for delicate sauces or meltingchocolate.

Thegratesmustbeproperlypositionedbe- forecooking. Toensureproperpositioning,
align bumperson grate bottom with the indentationsinthe cooktop.
Donot operatethe burnerswithout apan on thegrate. The grate's porcelainfinish
may chip without a pan to absorb the heat from the burner flame.
Although the burner grates are durable, they will gradually lose their shine and/or
discolor,duetothehightemperaturesofthe gasflame.
